FWIW the Silver Dollar Cafe serves fries.

This Cafe shares kitchen with a bar but the eating area is completely separate. Very neat and clean. Wildlife decor. Food is very well cooked and hamburgers and fries are very good. Very reasonable rates. On a lonely road this was a welcome stop!

Small streams like that usually have large deep pools where fish, often very large fish, live.

You'd think MSM or NE would video some of those, since they were trying to show the width, depth and speed of the creek to people who weren't there. If there was a deep, wide spot where a toddler could have drowned, I would include that in my reel - Nancy Grace loves sensationalistic images.... JMO

Sorry cant find original post but starfire wrote
"There is yet another one. That funeral home was the one in charge of the arrangements for the RSO's mother who died at the RSO's home in Leadore at the end of June."

Does this mean this RSO was out spreading Mom's ashes the same time and same place that little Deoor disappeared? and is not considered a POI? Do we have any concrete information of said ash spreading RSO coming and going, do we know if anyone checked their vehicle, search the home?

I know we discussed the RSO not being a person of interest but I don't understand why NOT? if this all happened within the same time frame? Forgive me if I am missing information. Am trying to keep up.

I think it is just another freaky coincidence. Someone here emailed Sheriff Bowerman about it and he replied that the female RSO was not the cremains-scatterer.

Does anyone have the description of the blue pick up truck and where they first heard about it? Could this be it, hightailing it out of the area on Saturday morning at 7:16 am? View attachment 80065

It was a light blue older 80's-90's Chevy or GMC. It was in msm and was something Jessica's sister was saying.

I will try to find it.

ETA: An aunt posts: "Little man is missing and has possibly been abducted. Vehicles to look out for is older light blue GMC/Chevy late 80s early 90s, also possibly a black truck - unknown model."

If IR was gone, along with DeOrr, when the parents returned, the parents must have immediately suspected that he did something to the boy. (I mean, this guy is something else.) I do wonder how the parents/family could keep themselves from letting on to their suspicions in the interview and elsewhere.

Depending on how long IR was gone "fishing" he could have jumped in the car and taken DeOrr anywhere.

I wonder if that has anything to do with how they completely avoided mentioning this guy or saying his name? In listening to their interview, it was like he wasn't even there.

At around the 3:11 mark there is a quick glimpse of the rushing water going into the creek. I know that I saw a better video of it, I'll need to look a bit further.

I don't know why LE hasn't circulated posters of the possible vehicles to be on the lookout for. In addition they could be circulating posters that say if you or someone you know was in Leadore, Idaho, the Stage Stop in Leadore, or in the area of Stone Reservoir / Timber Creek campground, we want to hear from you. Heck they could even circulate pictures of DeOrr and his mom and dad asking if anyone was anywhere on the 9th or 10th of July and saw these people. Not because they are suspected of anything but because someone might remember being in the store and seeing them and they could also have information about others in the area at the same time. I'm about to make my own flyers.

What would a vehicle with this description look like?

I also thought it strange there was no mention of IR. They also didn't mention the man at the Stage Shop who was supposedly staring at Deorr and made Jessica feel "eerie".

The interview was very strange. As a matter of fact, it kind of made me feel eerie.

Yes. I've uploaded larger photos to my drop box for a while. You can see/download them at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/j8ml3hhagb5s7q6/AAAdT4VYc1b1IbuDlWsjzESRa?dl=0

Thanks rkf :) I hadn't noticed before, but I can see the driver in the black truck. In photo no. 2 it appears he's starting to get out. In no. 3, it looks to me like he's sitting there in the truck seat with the door open and his legs out. And that unknown someone is walking toward him on the road. I assume toward, because they aren't in the no. 2 photo at all.

I have no insight into the minds of the photographers and editors :P

JMHO - I don't believe he was with GGP when the parents left to explore. I think that is why he wasn't mentioned in the initial interview. I think he became useful as a "witness" when all of the rumors on SM started and LE started a more in-depth investigation. It is still troubling to me that after so many decidedly vague statements regarding the events surrounding the camping trip, DK Sr. states "we went to the store as a family". Was that point made to include or to exclude someone? :moo:

And there's a deep-fryer. I hope it's fixed now. Life in Leadore... worth the read:

L'adore! ... love it.

Rhymes with DeOrr...

I think a lot of hikers pass through Leadore. This isn't the first mention of Sam, the Leadore Inn, etc... That I've seen in travel blogs. Several blogging hikers seem to come and go right through that campground area too. I guess there's a good trailhead there.

SO, to clarify, is the woman in the article who runs the Silver Dollar, the same one referred to here as an RSO?

I think so. Not an article though.

OK. So I somehow missed this new thread and there are 7 pages to read. I've skimmed a few posts and it seems like we're just going round and round in circles, discussing the same old same old.

Has there been any new information I might have missed?

Even if it is a recovery operation, if a body matching DeOrr's description is found, depending on its condition, wouldn't the ME check eye color for a match? (Could be immaterial at this point.) NAMUS says dental information/charting is currently not available and for DNA initial inquiry underway, so identifying a body as DeOrr would not be easy or quick, especially if it turned up far away. I'm also thinking his fingerprints may not be on file, as they're not available per NAMUS. Maybe LE can pull some prints from his cup or another item?

Footprints should be on file at the hospital where he was born. I'm not sure how effective or helpful they'd be in a case like this.
