My question back to you then is this:

If we are expected to believe the "man" was the one that was "really filthy" and the "man" was "buying Deorr candy," is it still the "man" then who was "bawling in a black truck???"
or are we supposed to jump back to believing that part is talking about Deorr because it makes the most sense even though we don't really know?

Of course we can't know one one way or another so we're not supposed to think either way .. just have to consider the possibility (not necessarily probability). I think most of us, myself included, are inclined to believe it related to the child, but just an old legal beagle brain here wanted to point out the other possibility (which obviously you had done before and I missed it). When people assign punctuation it creates inflection and puts their own spin to it; that spin could possibly be different to what may have been intended or true.

This case has many similarities to the William Tyrrell/Tyrell case in Australia. He vanished into thin air 11 months ago while playing outside close to parents/grandparents, and it has been found there are RSO's living nearby who had recently come into contact with the family. On that case too, we have gone over and over what scant information there is - namely nothing other than a kid is missing.

I hope Deorr is found sooner than little William.

That's what I thought too, because they were "starting to set up tents" @1PM, after they're back from the shop. Are there any advantages to leave this unconfirmed (Thursday / Friday) to back up their timeline / story?

Please let's not forget that Jessica (per the P.I.) said an old man was staring at Deorr in the store when they got him french fries and it made her feel eerie. IMO, a clerk in a store saw Deorr .. that is confirmation in my mind that she was in a store with the baby. At least that is what she is saying..JMO. Now the question is true or false? jmo

When I first saw it i thought it was a pacifier.. but it looks like swollen lips..jmo. And that brings up another question.. why are there no photos from the camping trip?

Which reminds me . . . . Although you and many others refer to Little Deorr as a "baby" and MOST refer to him as a "toddler", this woman allegedly referred to the child SHE saw as a "young blond boy". Don't KNOW that makes any difference but it's something that stood out to me.

I thought the PI's explanation for why an "innocent" man might be staring at him was kind of weird. He said something to the effect of maybe he had a child that died who resembled Deorr.

My youngest is really bad about licking his lips in the winter, and he licks alllll around his lips so that the skin on his lips and chin and upper lip are all horribly red and chapped and cracked. That's exactly what it looks like little DeOrr has going on in that picture. I wonder when it was taken? His outfit looks like it's warm out, but maybe early in spring on an unseasonably warm day.

Exactly. I also thought that maybe the man could have been staring at JM but shifted his gaze to DeOrr after he noticed that JM saw him looking. I would think DeOrr would either have been holding JM's hand or JM would have been carrying him. Of course, DK could have been holding him/carrying him.

Their own PI places Jessica in a store with Deorr buying fries and an old man was staring at them. Could you show me a link where he is described as a young blonde boy in the 6pm sighting?? TIA. Either way, the PI is placing Jessica and Deorr in the store buying fries and an old man was staring at them.. so even if the clerk doesnt remember them.. by their own spokesperson's admission, they were in the store. jmo

I refer to Deorr as "baby" to distinguish him from daddy deorr.

One more question.. how old is everyone? mom, dad? I know IR is 35 and GGP is 70 ish. A good investigative reporter will pound the pavement.. talk to locals.. check any court records, attempt to speak with family or friends either on or off the record.. hound LE.. and none of that has really been done. Journalism college interns work at most news outlets in the summer. A news story could have even been constructed about the reluctance of anyone to speak. Interview members of SAR.. Get opinions from local lawyers.. the list goes on and on.. Ask the question.. why no sustained media outreach? One article in People magazine and 1 time on NG is enough? Why did the GGP who was NOT on the trip agree to be interviewed for People magazine? Why not the parents? JMO but the whole thing is eerie if you ask me. jmo

lol 2 YR OLDS are not always on their best behavior I see ppl all the time stare at kids with the parents esp if they are making a fuss. lol This is why I say I wonder what Deorr was doing. LOL

This may not be the case, but I would like to point out that if you read JM's sentence a bit differently, the "really filthy" followed by "buying candy for him ..." could pertain to the man rather than the child.

Just for the record even though JM said the words herself, I cringe every time I see "really filthy bawling baby". It brings up all sorts of images in my mind and if little Deorr got lost in the woods, that is probably how he was when he died....filthy bawling confused lost hungry exhausted etc. Poor baby.

The "link" is Jessica's interview when she was repeating the "rumor" about the 6:00 sighting. I am NOT questioning if they were in the store and I thought I had made that clear. I clearly believe they WERE in the store and returned to their camp site at about 1:00 PM Friday, the 10th. Sorry if my post seemed unclear.
