When LE went into the lower campground, no one was seen entering or exiting.

(Snipped by me)

About this specific point, hasn't it been said that the POIs and little DeOrr were the ONLY people camping at the lower campground? In that case, all LE would likely have is their word on whether someone entered or exited the campground before searchers or LE arrived. No external witnesses that we've been made aware of.

So GGP looks away, sees the baby heading towards the bank, baby vanishes and......? GGP does nothing but assume he successfully found his parents? That is so frustrating.

AFAIK none of the dogs trailed his scent over the bank toward the creek.

Parents were apparently upstream and Issac was apparently downstream. When solving this puzzle they have to look at who could dispose of the body far enough away that he wouldn't be found in the 3 mile search radius. Who could have gone that far and got back without causing suspicion? Who could be out driving around in their vehicle looking for DeOrr? Who left during that time in a vehicle? How long were they gone? I don't think Issac had a vehicle. Could he have borrowed ggf's vehicle to go look?

If my child disappeared and i checked all the areas I could on foot and still didn't find him, I would get in my car to look.

Couldn't someone dispose of/hide/bury evidence within that 3 mile zone? Maybe even move the evidence at a later time while pretending to search?

Up until the point when LE arrived, and said that no one exited while they were entering, we only have 4 people that know if anyone else entered or exited that lower campground.

Have we got a map showing campsite please? Where they pitched, the bank, the creek (upstream/downstream).

Since the friend commented in his interview "I was told he disappeared", it made me question two things.

Why would he say he was told to say that? At the campsite was he high or drunk? Does he know what happened, but due to the state he was in, his word is not acceptable until LE has 100% proof?

"I was told he disappeared" doesn't indicate he was TOLD to say that, IMO but he clearly removes himself from any first-hand knowledge of what happened. He also said something like "What did GGF say?"

Like maybe by using an EMT bag?

Sometimes scent dogs mess up. Madyson, 8 yr old from Santa Cruz, was found days later in a recycling bin just yards from where she was last seen, and they brought dogs in. They did not hit on that shed. So frustrating.

I have just read elsewhere (so please consider it rumour...) that grandpa and IR met at AA meetings, has this been established?

Also if ggf saw him toddle over the bank, it would have to be somewhere within eye sight of where ggf was sitting which IMO would have been near the fire/pit.

Your right. But isn't there a difference between tracking dogs and cadaver dogs? Sometimes I think BOTH should be used simultaneously.

That missing EMT bag is a REAL problem. JMO
But rumor has it, it was stolen Saturday afternoon.

Did anyone else notice when talking about the cremains, the sheriff said the person dumping them didn't realize it was a crime scene?

Also I'm changing my mind (womans perogative), I think the sheriff seemed very tired and almost defeated at times. In the edited version it came across as inept. Jmo

There are various types of search dogs. Trailing dogs, tracking dogs, and air scenting dogs. Air scenting dogs can be trained in urban rescue, disaster search, to do a generalized search or a specific discriminatory search, humans remains detection, live human search, and some dogs are effectively cross trained.

bbm -- which may indicate that someone had squirreled away some kind of evidence and then maybe stole the bag to get rid of it without being seen. (rumor and unsubstantiated re: emt bag, jmo and moo about the why)

I thought the comment about the FBI doing behavioral analyses was interesting as well. It's not the first time we've heard that but for some reason it stuck out more to me this time around.

It seems we are going to have to wait for the FBI...
