More incriminating evidence against Lori in the jail call with Colby, the kids were clearly an inconvenience, she doesn't talk about any zombies - (partial transcript based on what I hear)

Lori: You don't know what I've been through and you didn't give a crap what they've been through, nobody does, except for me, I'm the one that knows, I'm the one that was in the hospital with Tylee hundreds of days watching her suffer, I'm the one that was there doing everything with JJ every day, I was the one who did it all these years...

Lori: You don't know what happened.

Colby: Why, why don't I know mom? oh, cos I was kept in the dark to protect me, you don't believe in protecting my little dead siblings, that's who needed protecting mom, they..

Lori: ..Where were you when they needed that? Is that what you think you needed to do, I had it [...?]

Colby: A month later you ran away, I never wanted you guys to leave, I would have taken those kids in one second I would bring them into my home and I would have taken care of them, that's not even a question to me, you can't say that you know

Lori: Yeah everybody says that, everybody says that now

Colby: Says it now? where was my offer? where was the offer...

Lori: I'm saying I did everything for them

Maybe it wouldn't have been as stressful if she hadn't separated from and then had her husband killed or if her brother had acted like a regular Uncle and not a feature story from Soldier of Fortune Magazine.

I wonder if any jurors have similar thoughts about this "nightmare" that provoked phone calls between MG and LVD/CD on the last night JJ was seen alive.
I would think so. I couldn't help but think maybe in his sleep he heard JJ being murdered and had a terrible nightmare because of it...

But on the other hand, why would Alex murder JJ in an apartment full of visitors?

This is bizarre … it’s like Lori & Chad decided that if they didn’t think about things and people, they would just go away/disappear…

Stubbs says nobody ever inquired about the Jeep - where it had gone, why it was towed, nothing. Stubbs says police even reached out and tried to talk to someone but were unsuccessful.

Thanks to all who explained how to “listen” to the trial. Appreciate you!

Really? I have Mormon friends who freaked out if their daughter even walked into a Starbucks, despite the fact that Starbucks sells things besides caffeine.
That’s the reason for the soda shops. Going to Starbucks is thought to be “giving the appearance of evil”.

They never asked about the Jeep because they figured it was repo'd. Remember that she cleaned out Tylee's bank account that the automatic Jeep payments were coming out of.

I’m a few pages behind here so I could find a post on it as I catch up but I’m surprised to hear that DW said JJ was wearing shorts & a t-shirt when Alex carried him upstairs with his head on his shoulder when he brought him home. Didn’t MG say he was wearing red pjs when AC brought him home with his head on his shoulder? Wasn’t the fact that he had on red pjs then as well as when his body was found one of the reasons we all thought AC did it while LVD was visiting with MG & DW?

Also I guess I had not realized that MG & DW had stayed in JJ’s room and JJ was in the room with LVD. So at first I thought that meant that LVD spent the night with JJ’s deceased body. But now I am not so sure that AC did it and not LVD. If DW was right and JJ was in shorts and a tee shirt when AC brought him home then either LVD changed the clothes on his dead body or perhaps he was still alive when he was brought home and later changed into his pjs and at some point in the night, LVD actually killed him herself and called AC to take the body away early the next morning before MG & DW got up.

Can someone confirm to me that MG said he was in red pjs or am I wrong about that?

My question is why- even though it was way weird for the attempted contacts- wouldn't Lori or Chad respond?

Even with, WTF, ya know what time it is?

I was wondering, was LV's bedroom door locked with a key? Or was it, like most bedroom doors, only lockable from inside? Did LV decide she didn't like DW, heard his nightmare and just refuse to respond?

I think that, setting aside the issue of DW's nightmare, it's meaningful to look at whether, on that weekend, Chad was working to get Lori to see JJ as a zombie.

MG testified "Lori told Melanie that JJ had an evil spirit in him. Lori learned this the day before from Chad."

From the Nanny's testimony, on Sept 18 Lori was looking for a babysitter to replace Tylee. This indicates, to me, she was maybe still intending to care for JJ.

The babysitting on the 19th didn't go well, LV was needed to calm JJ down.

The visit to Lori by MG & DW started the next day, the 20th. So the 'day before' ie the 19th, when the babysittiing was unsuccessful, was the day Chad declared JJ a zombie.

For example, Chad's red neck/ scratch. Was there perhaps a story Chad later told LV about that incident, to reinforce that JJ had become an evil spirit?

MG also says Lori told her,
the 22nd was when she saw Moroni at the temple. IMO, this would be when she decided JJ would have to die.

I don't think she was perfectly consistent- nor was David on this testimony. He thinks that is what JJ was wearing but is not sure.

In the courtroom lori is upset. Arms are folded, brow furrowed. Staring off to side … still. The previous Lori, blond confident and telling police JJ is with Gibb, snd blaming Kay for trying to kidnap jj, is on the big screen.

Caffeine is allowed in the WOW. If you live in a high LDS population, you will see lines of cars getting their caffeine fix at the many soda shops around.
My mother, a lifelong member, takes her own little tin of Milo everywhere because caffeine is very much not okay and the options at things like work conferences and staff meetings are tea or coffee or nothing. I didn't taste Coke until I was in my late teens, when I got old enough to leave. My personal experience is that this was not a 'personal interpretation' or ambiguous area. Caffeine was grouped in with tobacco, alcohol, and drugs of recreation.

I am impressed by the information that Rexburg LE we're concerned for their safety and observed movements in the town home. I've heard the audio, and it does not come across in their voices. Previously, I was impressed by how seriously they sounded to be taking Lori's obvious lies.

What amazing interviewers.
