This infuriates me! It is so obvious to me that Alex Assassinated Charles. There is no explainable reason why Alex was not arrested.
I am very surprised as well. Just goes to show you that in many instances, like this, LE efforts are less than sterling, however much we would like to believe otherwise, IMO.

Alex didn't die of a heart attack, it was a pulminary embolism. Its seems that Alex's death is just a weird coincidence.
Sorry, but I will never believe that. I'm thinking he picked up something in Mexico that would do the deed and not be detected. JMO

Enhanced audio plus EIN put subtitles

I missed most of today. Does anyone know why there is no trial tomorrow (Friday)? All I found is that trial is moving quicker than anticipated. Is it lack of available witnesses? That makes this a three day trial week.

Nate Eaton will have his trial update tonight.

I will never forgive LV for the despicable way that she treated Charles' two sons. ["I love you and your Dad did too!" -- Oh, p-l-e-e-e-e-z-z-z!]
The watch collection that Charles had amassed over the years, that LV never gave to them -- she gave them some cheap Timex watches, if memory serves me! WTH did she do with those expensive keepsakes that should have gone to Charles' boys? [R.I.H., LV!]

My guess is she sold them

Warwick is (and was) hearing-impaired. If he heard anything, it would have yo have been loud.

I remember that being mentioned at the hearing. Was his hearing-impairment mentioned at trial today or only that he had a cold?

All this calling by MG trying to reach LVD & Chad because poor DW had a nightmare is suspicious and quite a coincidence... whatever the reason.

I wonder if she meant Z Packs.
  • A Z-Pak is a prescription antibiotic dose pack that contains six tablets taken over 5 days. Each tablet contains 250 mg of azithromycin (Zithromax).
  • Z-Paks can treat several different bacterial infections, ranging from strep throat to skin infections. Common Z-Pak side effects include diarrhea, nausea, and stomach pain.
Yes, I believe you are correct, z packs

Didn't know that.

I have a watch nerd / amateur watchmaker in the family for whom the collection is not just a bunch of valuable steel and workings but a sort of fossil record of experiences and times of life.

Any carefully built and tended collection remembers, and has stories to pass on to those who will hear them.

I often think that prodigious liars, who are inevitably as prodigiously self-centred, have a hard time telling stories of substance because they lack the interest and curiousity to hear others' stories, or even their own through others' eyes (and ears).

LVD (and, as we know from his scribblings, CD) are bad storytellers and unsuccessful if cruel criminals.

interesting because here it says 'Another devastating side effect of Zithromax is blood clotting'
( 'A pulmonary embolism is when a blood vessel in your lungs is blocked by a blood clot.')

Alex also had lesions on his liver. I wonder why he was taking this medication?

Except that pulmonary embolisms can be induced by injecting air into veins.
Wouldn't a medical examiner have noticed needle marks? Checking for those must be in the autopsy protocol?

He was admitted to hospital and his wife eventually gave them permission to turn off life support. He would have been full of needle marks from life saving efforts. One single needle mark on the body of a man who died a sudden but apparently natural death wouldn't have been noteworthy, even if it was seen.

MOO

All IV attempts get documented. Again he didn't die of an air embolism anyway.

I nearly died of double pulmonary embolism that I thought was a heart attack. For weeks leading upto my 911 call, I had the same symptoms Alex supposedly had, and an equally sedentary lifestyle. Much as it would be easy to believe he was offed when TD was exhumed because he knew too much, I believe he really did die as the result of a PE. If what we believe we know about him is true, he deserved worse.

The trip to Mexico for cheaper drugs — could that have been why there was no stateside evidence of prescriptions being filled for JJ’s meds? I’m surprised the defense hasn’t tried to suggest that. Since they haven’t one wonders what it was really all about.
But expense for medication was likely moot in JJ's case, since he would have been on Medicaid (or equivalent) because of his disability status, and his medications would have had a very small copay. IMO. So, there would be no reason to go to Mexico for drugs for JJ.

Urban Dictionary: The definition of a G Pack or G-Pack is: $1,000 dollars worth of any street drug: Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Heroin, and Crack. etc.
I think that says more about me than Alex . Another poster has informed me it was Z packs

I’m glad you’re ok. My dad died of a PE, so I’m really happy that you made it!

I think JJs meds were filled last in Texas or perhaps Louisiana? If seems LE did not do searches in those states.

I would think so. I couldn't help but think maybe in his sleep he heard JJ being murdered and had a terrible nightmare because of it...

But on the other hand, why would Alex murder JJ in an apartment full of visitors?
Maybe not Alex but Lori, seeing as JJ was sleeping in her room?
