I edited my post and added the link to the video where Janis states that she spoke to JJ. She said that JJ "knew who they were" which seemed strange. Wouldn't any grandchild recognize their grandparents who have a relationship with them?

Yes. I considered "evil spirit" a euphemism for the freaky things that happen to a body after a person dies and what you'd notice if you hang around a person after you murder them.

If she really did not attempt to contact Lori at all - when the media was covering the kids being missing Dec through Jan - and instead she was only motivated to do so after the arrest in Feb, it reflects very badly on the Cox family

remember that what you & I find weird isn't for the Coxes. ( While the sister Stacey was dying in USA, the family stayed in Hawaii. Only Alex and the cousin were in USA and visited Stacy when she was in a coma at the hospice. It's in that new interview at HTC)

It gives the lie that Summer would have been willing to take care of Tylee and JJ if Lori didn't want them anymore. She didn't do a whole lot to investigate where they were....
