I have a sneaky suspicion it was the same. 'Just because it sounds about right. (No proof though). jmo
I'm 90% sure it is the same bishop because I recognized the name. He is connected on Linkedin to someone I am connected to. Not terribly surprising since my friend is LDS and lives in the Phoenix area.

I think she thinks she will walk out of jail on verdict day. I really do, per the big smile Nate Eaton observed on Lori's face before Archibald stated the state has not proven their case. My opinion.
She must be counting on a natural disaster or two. Perhaps ZP can help with an earthquake.

Many of you asked why Larry and Kay Woodcock were absent from the courtroom this afternoon. Here is a statement from Kay:

Thank you all for your concern. This trial has been overwhelming to say the least. Today Larry was overcome with emotions causing him to feel sick. EMT’s checked him & he was okay. We came to our apartment and he took a nap.

We’re relaxing the rest of today and again tomorrow since the jury instruction will be later in the day. We appreciate your support and prayers.

Just to make sure I've got it correct. Jury Instructions tomorrow and closing arguments on Thursday?

Best cot in the ward. Biggest commissary account.

Is anyone concerned she will still be running "the show" from behind bars. Do she and Chad still have "believers"?

They're working on jury instructions tomorrow. Yes closing arguments start Thurs.

She was likely advised to smile and show the jury how confident you are that the case wasn't proven.

The attorneys have to be professional, they can't walk in gloating. But they can tell their client to step in like we just told you you are getting off.

Chad to Lori - ...This is very difficult but I will abide by your request to not talk. I hate causing you pain because I love you more than ever.

Chad to Lori - You're the best. I hope your day goes well. I adore you.

Chad to Lori - Absolutely excruciating to be cut off from you. I love you.

Chad to Lori - Goodnight. Saddest day of my life.

Chad to Lori - Grandpa Keith is here. I am supposed to warn you that you are unprotected. The angels are angry that you are ignoring me. I told him to go back but he says he isn't allowed to. I'm honestly not trying to manipulate you to respond. I understand that you need your space but they say you have cut me off and the protection I built around your house is gone. I love you and don't want you getting attacked. They said that if you at least give me a thumbs up emoji it will restore our connection enough to give some protection.

Lori to Chad - I love you.

Chad to Lori - Thank you my love. I will get things restored.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Hahahahahaaaa!!!!!

I think she love-bombed Chad and manipulated him to get what she wanted. He is guilty for his part no matter what but I believe she was the master planner.

She appealed to his ego and it set things in motion. Just my thoughts but I don’t think he was ever considered a catch, nor had women groveling to him.

I don’t buy that they really believed all of the zombie stuff. Individually it was a way to make them look good to each other at the beginning. It justified their plans leading up to what they did to ultimately get what they wanted.

Chad, if he had any sense at all would try to plead to a deal as soon as Lori's guilty verdict comes in. He might could avoid the death penalty.

Wish we could zap her into Leticia Stauch's cell and they could be roomates.
That would be true crimer gold!
with a 24/7 tee-lori cam....FOREVER :p:p

When nothing going on we could just check in and see them driving each other to the other side of batty!

I think they are done. I don't know how much time Lori will get but I would not count on life without parole. She could get as little as 10 years, although I hope she gets longer. She has already served over 3. I don't know what the practice is in Idaho. In some states the default is for sentences to run concurrently so even if she is convicted of everything her sentence may not be that long. Some states also have policies like automatic two for onee time and automatic early release because of prison crowding or expenses. I found the statutes from Idaho but that does not tell you what standard practice is. John Dalton, who brutally murdered his girlfriend only got 20 years. I suspect Lori, being one step removed from the actual crime will get somewhere between 10 and 20 years total. But she will still have to face trial in Arizona let's not forget.

I think Chad will get the death penalty. Idaho now can use a firing squad. I say we let Kay, Larry, and Tammy's brothers form the firing squad. And thee command to shoot? "Loin fire" of course!

“love bombed” is a polite way of describing “lollilicious”… imo

Lori's skills at manipulating and charming are just what is needed in an institutional setting. She really is good at it, and it's tragic how she used them "on the outside." However they are survival skills in institutions like hospitals and prisons.

I think she will be a peer leader incarcerated.

As for people on the outside? It's hard to tell. I think the like-minded are trying to distance themselves from Lori and Chad and will probably find some new false prophets. But the god and goddess themselves will probably think they are in liberty jail.

Okay- that was a fair one. They deserved to be reamed for bringing it up moments before, "I rest my case."

My opinion is over all the prosecutors did an excellent job. This case is very complex with 3 victims and 3 people charged, and they and most of the people around them had several names, either from past lives or various possessions.

The conspiracy alleged started in October 2018 and runs through October 2019. But bodies were not recovered until June 2020, along with mail house calls, etc.

Many witnesses were problematic because they were in a cult and manipulated. They were to varying degrees evasive or untruthful because they haven't fully pulled themselves out- or they haven't even tried to by appearances. They are super embarrassed and ashamed and horrified that they were vulnerable, and are not ready to see things as they were.

Witnesses who are like April don't have any information that would bring a conviction. Witnesses like Audrey have great information, but still seem very unrealistic about their gullibility. The witnesses with good information lie to make their motives seem purer or to hide just how poor their judgment was from others and themselves. Then they lose credibility.

I am sure LE tried to get even more value from those witnesses but they couldn't. They were not able to say, "I must have known on some level that this was ending in murder/ murders had occurred. I couldn't let myself see it. When it started to bubble to the surface, I squashed it with fantasies about the celestial world. They made me feel so special! I'm in therapy now because I feel so ashamed! I could have prevented/reported so much sooner."

That would be the ideal witness. Because nobody up close and personal would be a person who did not get sucked in, flattered, manipulated. Right? Less vulnerable people would have separated from the group before they earned the "trust score" (or vulnerability score, as I call it) to have useful information for the prosecution.

I admire this team for the case they put on. They needed a secretary, though.

Good post. Hope LV goes to prison on Friday. I can’t see the jury taking more than a few minutes to get together and talk of the horror of the autopsies and then spend a few laughing at the texts. We've got some crazy evil people in this world folks.
