HTC did not want to continue teaming with her once LH filed her motion to unseal. They did not want to get that involved or interfere with the case. Hmm.
The timing may not have been not too long after the MM/AR youtuber trainwreck. So perhaps just overly cautious in light of that fiasco.
Thanks! I was clueless.
Sounds like Chad set his sights on AB before LV came into focus. This is about AB's court testimony:
She remembers Chad telling her he had a near death experience years before and that he had been told by a deceased relative that Tammy would pass away before she was 50. She remembers him telling her this around end of Jan or Feb 2019. Eventually Chad tells Audrey he would marry Lori. Audrey said she asked Chad if he had talked to Tammy or his children about this. She remembers he said he had talked to Tammy about it, but she doesn't remember what he said about the children.
Did Chad really tell Tammy about it?
She recalls Lori saying Charles was dark and then later at the end of the friendship Lori said that her children were dark and so was Tammy.
When did AB's friendship with Lori end?
AB on video outside of the trial:
Lori's female visitor on October 29 (after Tammy's death but before the Hawaii wedding, starts at 0:25):
S. Littlebear said something cryptic like, "She kept calling Chad. Chad was keeping her in his back pocket because she wasn't married."Sounds like Chad set his sights on AB before LV came into focus.

Ask a recovering addict about that. It's not a downer.
Ask a recovering addict about that.
A work associate (who was safe with me but shouldn't have assumed so! I thought: hmm reckless with substances/reckless with relationships!) told me that they had a lot of problems with depression induced by coming off of prescribed adderall they abused/augmented with street coke. If they were out of both, they were depressed to the point they could barely function until their body got used to living without them. So yeah- can be a downer on the rebound. Not to mention kicking a habit is depressingly challenging.Ask a recovering addict about that.
Thanks for posting this link. I hadn’t seen it previously, but have been listening to it and it’s fascinating. I’ve only made it about halfway through so far, but when listening to the story about Stacey’s death I wondered: Is there any info on whether the other Cox brother (Adam) was around when Stacey was in the coma/hospice? I think it was mentioned that he was not in Hawaii with the rest of the family due to his job. I also wondered about Stacey’s ex-husband, and whether he had any suspicions about Alex’s involvement in Stacey’s death.I think this Mormon Stories podcast, shared previously in a prior thread, offers significant anecdotal evidence to support the idea that Lori's choices were, in a way, simply just another chapter in the Cox family way of "doing business." It seems to be a lifestyle with a self serving approach to life, and a callousness toward whoever and whatever gets in the way of the family and their desires.
From what was revealed in this interview with a cousin, Lori's actions in this case seem fitting to family patterns, rather than an exception, and some of this is chilling to hear as it paints a picture of the family very likely taking out one of their own.
Paraphrased from prior notes by Nikynoo, with my own notes: This Mormon Stories interview is good background on the Cox family history and a little insight to Mormonism. It is very interesting and listenable. Well told. Features stories being shared by a cousin of Lori.
Interestingly, the cousin also gave some interesting background about the night that Stacey [Lori's sister and MBP's mom] was found in a diabetic coma. Not a zombie this time, but still a person who may have become a burden and needed to go?
This was in 1998. According to the interview [at about the 2:30 mark], this cousin Megan was there when Stacey was found in a coma at her parent's home, then admitted to hospital and subsequently a hospice. Alex is prominently part of the landscape. Angel of death? Stacey/Lori's father and family were called to tell them that Stacey was in a coma, and Lori and the rest of the Cox family were in Hawaii when this tragedy happened. (Sound familiar?) The family didn’t care to come back to see Stacey before she died.
Sounds like this is one to sit through, however many sit-stills it takes! Wow. Horrifying. Thanks for posting this link. I think the difference why A wasn't a threat to Lori is, A was as smart as Lori (read devious) and didn't have access to money like L did. Now, if A had more money than Lori, she would have been Chad's side piece and possible Tammy replacement. Lori would have been part of the harem, but not the 'chosen one'.S. Littlebear said something cryptic like, "She kept calling Chad. Chad was keeping her in his back pocket because she wasn't married."
I never understood it. I was listening for hints as to why she was called by Lori right after Charles was murdered, why she was so trusted. I didn't get any hints.
I imagined he meant Chad wanted to keep her on hand for someone to marry before the tribulations. For some reason, I felt like SL would have been more explicit if he were alleging an affair. He seemed willing to dish in that way. But I could be wrong! SL has a very indirect way of speaking.
MOO
Edited to add: I also haven't "felt it," that Lori regarded her as a rival. I lot of people have postulated that. Could be, but I don't think Lori was jealous of her SIL. (Married to Chad's bro Jesus!) She just used her.
MOO
Charges have finally been posted on the Arizona court site. But I only see the 1st degree premed murder charge for Charles - NOT conspiracy to commit murder! and I guess they will do another case # for Brandon's case.

Thanks, Niner! I am hopeful that LVD will be charged with murder in AZ eventually.
But that webpage apparently has mistakes.
Notice that the "CRIME DATE" is 10/2/19, which is the date of the attempted murder that was committed on BB. But it does list the AZ crime code for an actual premeditated murder, 13-1105A1.
Also, afaik, the only indictment released to the public so far (released May 17 ) is for conspiracy on the attempted murder of BB. The news reports only name BB not CV.
From that page you linked, it also looks like there are some sealed docs, so it's possible we may not get full transparency until she is extradicted and confronted with indictments in a hearing. Maybe they have only released the one indictment of "conspiracy to" for the attempted murder, just enough to get her there. And then when she gets there, they may have some juicy surprises awaiting her? Wouldn't that be something!!
