Just want to say that JJ Vallow's death (getting wrapped and bound in layers upon layers of duct tape and then suffocated) is a woman's move, in my opinion. If Alex was Lori's grim reaper, he could have handled it in a much simpler manner like knocking him out with a single punch and whatever follow-up action he felt he "needed" to take. D-bag. But that's not what happened. We all know that he was over-restrained and then suffocated. That's the act of an enraged, manic woman. I don't mean manic in a clinical sense, either. As for Tylee, it's less clear. I tend to believe that Lori did it (how, I don't know obviously) and she either called Alex or ran over to his apartment and told him what happened, and then he walked to her apartment to assess the situation and plan how to dispose of his niece's body. I hate them.
Do we know that he was bound in tape and then suffocated?

No, all we know is that he was wrapped in plastic and bound with duct tape. Hard to imagine someone that cold hearted who could do such a thing to a child. Reminds me of how a spider wraps it's prey.

The first one, sitting right next to Kay and Larry... yep. I was just quoting what Lori said. Perhaps a jab?

I'm thinking so. He's invisible to her unless he's doing exactly what she wants? I dunno but a jab sure seems possible. Jmo

Yes, that is one. She admitted she lied in court.. therefore I said earlier she can easily be impeached. As someone upstream stated, and I missed... the attorney would have to point that out for it to happen for her to be impeached at trial. So MOO on impeach potential *cough* and fact she did lie.

My comment was just that MOO, she can easily be impeached.
BBM. But she didn't lie in court. Long before her court appearance she went to police voluntarily, admitted to lying initially and explained her motive. If this was an impeachable offense, she wouldn't have been put on the stand.

I think you're right. In order to be an impeachable offense, the witness would have had to lie under oath. Her lie to the police was not under oath and she quickly retracted it.

I think Lori did it, too, but I don't think we know yet exactly how JJ died. I'm guessing it was from poison but that she wrapped the body so completely to keep it from being detected by a cadaver dog or something. JMOO.

I hate them, too.

I think there is a good chance that he was suffocated while heavily sedated. The taping was done to keep him from thrashing about, maybe catching some skin under a nail, or leaving a mark on someone's pretty face. The plastic was to catch any bodily fluids that would be released upon death. Really does show premeditation, IMO.

Are you referring to the fact that MG initially lied to police about having JJ? She openly admitted to that in court. There's an explanation for it (IMO). Or is it someting else?
Whoa, MG told police from the beginning she did not have JJ and didn't know where he was. She did not lie to police.

From the Timeline
26 Nov 2019, about 9:30 pm - Rexburg PD have not heard from MG so they call Gilbert PD. LE in Arizona go to MG’s home but she is not there. GPD reaches MG by phone; She tells them JJ has not been there for several months. (Affidavit of Probable Cause Doc; East Idaho News)

Thanks for correcting my ignorance folks! I was 100% wrong then. Sorry.

For a mother to kill, or have her child killed, is so rare and so evil. But, to repeat the same action a few weeks later to another one of her children is completely unbelievable! There must not have been one moment of regret after the first killing, because she did it again. That is what makes this case so completely out of the norm to me. She doesn't present herself as mentally ill, but wow, just so horrific. Yes, she more than likely had something to do with her husband's killing, along with involvement in the other crimes, but her own children and not even both on the same day...just crazy.

And Chad!! What a couple! I hope the Goddess spends the rest of her life eating her dinners next to a cold smelly toilet with a 300lb. cellmate that can't resist her. That is justice!

The information in the probable cause affidavit (written by Rexburg police) differs slightly from that presented at the preliminary hearing. MG testified that she told Gilbert police on November 26 that she had JJ, but he was back with Lori. MG was in Utah at the time, so it was true that JJ hasn't been at her home in Arizona (mentioned in the affidavit) for months.

I don't understand your post, but she clearly testified that, when she spoke to a police officer, she did not say JJ was with her, as her best friend had asked her to. In her testimony she said that she told Gilbert police 'he was back with Lori', which as far as she knew was true. But of course JJ was dead and buried in CD's backyard. Are you saying she knew that and lied about that to police?

Thanks I did watch that, that's what my post is based on

"I told him I had been with JJ but he was back with Lori".

So she did not lie and say JJ was with her. It was Lori who lied and said JJ was with MG.

Snipped fore and aft for focus
From what I read, blue is one of the recommended colors to wear in court.
Yup. “True blue.” The ideal color combination for silently expressing innocence in the 1970s, when I was covering this sort of thing, was a khaki suit (skirted for women, slacks for men) with a light blue Oxford cotton shirt. I think khaki has moved to navy now. Anyone know?

I think it's white, gray, blue and navy blue.

"I told him I had been with JJ but he was back with Lori".

So she did not lie and say JJ was with her. It was Lori who lied and said JJ was with MG.

MG originally lied and said that she had had JJ, but now he was back with Lori - directing LE back to Lori. JJ was deceased at this time. She did lie to police by saying that she had had him......because she had not had him. She is asked point blank by Prior if she lied, and she replied, "That is correct."

Is that an accurate statement? Or are you lying?

I say this deliberately because one is not the opposite of the other.

Word for word, Prior asks "is that an accurate statement", and she says "no" about JJ having been with her.

But police were looking for where JJ was at that moment. They learned he was not with her.

Obviously, she was trying to avoid saying "what my best friend told you was a lie, he was never with me, she fabricated the whole thing".

Do you have any friends? If police called asking questions would you say your friend was a liar without knowing the full story?

I wouldn't have to call anyone a liar to answer for myself truthfully. Especially when a child is involved, no way would I lie for any friend, and my friends know better than to ask me to lie for them. IMO

If my friend's children were missing and my friend had asked me to lie about it, I am sure that I would not.
