IIRC, during the Dateline show, Lauren and John Mathias referred to the term "eggs" as a slang/street name for valium or some other similar drug that may have been used to sedate JJ prior to his demise.

How did they know Tammy confronted Chad?

I am not exactly sure but given the recent doc dumps from Chandler and some extended family members do have access to info we are not privy to (as well as some news outlets may have some info we don't). I doubt highly they would include this tidbit if they didn't see or have proof.

I have not found the exact time in the show but IIRC in the timeline of events laid out on the episode it was just after LVD told CD to go be with his family because they couldn't be together unless something changed. The part that sticks in my mind was that it was 2 days later CD texts her about Tammy being taken over by (Viola?).

Chad excitedly wrote to Lori as early as July that Tammy's death percentage was falling, so she was getting darker. Apparently not fast enough as a few weeks later Lori pretended to have given up on him and told him to return to his family. It worked.

Interesting, the first letter sent to CD is dated July 13, 2020. About a month after remains were found on his property.

anyway, MM again wants all records, calls, written papers and anything about Chad Daybells info being kicked out of the church.
