SBM, BBM. It was a lot more than that. In the offending press release MBP's lawyers also stated that "BB has a history of victimizing women" and that "his family has covered up child molestation, drug addiction, kidnapping, assaults, and even killings". They claimed to have insider information that "BB's family is involved in organized crime".

The lawsuit at: Justin Lum - Facebook
I realize Brandon won't end up with the full $12M but I find some irony that Chad and Lori were (allegedly) killing people, motivated in part by insurance pay-offs of about $1.4M combined on Charles and Tammy, and their scheme handed the dark Gadianton Brandon enough insurance money that he can comfortably...I dunno...retire to a big house in Kauai maybe.

From the police body cam discussion Brandon's car was facing the same direction as the parked Jeep. When Brandon figured out what was happening (which is when I would have expected another shot to be fired) he says he sped away. He said the Jeep chased him briefly before turning. My guess is the Jeep was speeding away in the same direction because it was parked facing that way, which is why Brandon initially felt he was being chased. Just a guess.
Do you remember reading earlier reports here at WS that were different? I do. I don’t know how things get so mixed up. I remember the report saying Brandon had just pulled into his driveway. Not parking on same side of street. I’m not disputing you. What I’m wondering is why the first reporting was so wrong.

I snipped out just the October 2, 2019 date from Tortoise's incredibly helpful timeline. (I hope you don't mind). Just wanted to point out that Lori and Alex must have thought they were so 'smart' and devious by making those 9:02am MST phone calls from Alex's phone (most likely in Lori's possession) to Lori's phone. It looks like they thought they were giving Alex an ironclad alibi about him being on the phone in Rexburg with Lori when the shooting happened in Arizona. Thank goodness these people were not smart or tech savvy enough to really know how modern technology and thorough detective investigation work. JMO MOO
So when will Lori and Chad be charged for conspiracy to commit the murder of BB? Thank God no one succeeded. MP should never be allowed near her children or any children. IMO.

They were charged with that last week.

Hopefully MP is charged also. JMO

Alex was waiting in the Jeep accross the street for two hours before BB returned home and was shot at. IF he had a getaway driver, did they wait with Alex the entire time? It makes it less likely that it was MBP. Didn't BB leave at least one of their children with her that morning? On the other hand, if she wasn't present for the shooting, why would she have trouble recollecting what she did that day when she was interviewed the next day?

I've always assumed there was a getaway driver (and it was MBP). But, I agree the timing makes it unlikely it was MBP and I also agree her "I don't remember what I did" story also seems unlikely. I suppose it is possible Alex was alone. Are there unreleased phone records that might incriminate someone who hasn't been charged... yet?

Well, FWIW, I scoped a neighbor's Jeep of the same model. With the rear seat out a reasonably agile individual could be back in the driver's seat in 30 seconds max. This would explain why BB was able to drive past the Jeep and though it was following him.

Wow. I am way behind! Thank you so much. Hoping Tammy's children will now wake up to what their dad really is. a monster.

The phone records are interesting here, Oct 2, 2019. We have Alex's burner phone and Alex's regular phone being used between about 9 and 9:15 am Mountain time while (I think?) we know Alex is sitting in front of Brandon's house waiting to shoot Brandon. Is there evidence that the 9am-ish calls from Alex's "regular" cell phone are not made from Gilbert, Arizona? Maybe from Rexburg, indicating Lori and Chad had Alex's phone? I have read conjecture about this but wondering if there is more than conjecture.

"Oh really, Chad is an upstanding member of his church?! Pull the other one!"

Sorry, I was just trying to be sarcastic ;)
I appreciate your comment and I was 99% sure of your sarcasm but just making sure I am not on the record saying I think Chad is good guy. Covering my own butt with that reply.

I think we are on the same wavelength here. I remember reports Brandon pulled into his driveway and then was shot at from across the street while he was in his driveway. Same as your recollection?

Not sure how to go back in time and change my memory but I would be happy to try and chase down incorrect posts about this if we can find them and root them out.

Yes, I guess it's quite possible/probable that Alex was the only person in the jeep. But what if he wasn't? Do we know if absolutely everyone in that evil gang is accounted for? And even if they are, does that make it impossible that Alex had someone else with him? Maybe there is someone else in that group that we don't know about? yet? I hope not, but I wouldn't be all that surprised.

MOO (I am not a lawyer) Gilbert, Arizona Police are saying to the Maricopa County (Arizona) prosecuting attorney they feel they have enough evidence to charge Lori and Chad with conspiracy to commit murder in the attempted shooting of Brandon Boudreaux. Charges against Chad and Lori in the BB shooting are not filed yet but will be soon. Again, MOO.

and that is what I remember - I have in my notes:

Gilbert Police recommend new attempted first-degree murder charges for Lori Vallow & Chad Daybell. For more info see post #158 here:
