IMO, if everyone were to doubt and question the findings of a full and proper autopsy, then all autopsies would be disallowed in court. For example, whatever the findings were of Tammy's autopsy should be disallowed, since medical examiners are incompetent.

To have a functioning legal system, IMO, we have to accept the scientific results as fact, whether it suits our personal opinions or not.
IMO, the legal system in our country does NOT function well.
And yes, all comments here are only our opinions.

And
I disagree. He received a full autopsy immediately after death because police knew, at that point, that the children plus the Daybell's were missing. They had also been searching for AC with regards to CV's death.

He received a full and thorough internal autopsy, and samples were taken per normal procedures. No medical examiner keeps bodies hanging around in spare fridges indefinitely.

The initial autopsy was the only autopsy.

It is interesting how easy it is for people to twist facts to suit their own beliefs. I don't think they do it deliberately, but I see it happening all the time, by criminals and non-criminals.
That’s your opinion. Would you say Tammys death was handled the correct way since there was NO autopsy before she was buried? She had to be exhumed.

Why? What could he be doing? Why drive all that way ? For what?

Maybe he's there reading a typo-laden, double-spaced draft of a novella aloud to an incompetent inmate? ;)

I'm not a verified insider but I do live in Rexburg and the chatter around town is interesting. I don't think you'll like the book if you're not impressed by the author's tweets......MOO.

Yeah, well, so is Lori Hellis, IIRC, from her webpage, so... he may do it first, but IMO she'll do it better.

Heck, if she rushes to get hers done first, I can almost guarantee even a rushed Lori Hellis draft would be better than a leisurely MM draft.

No kidding! I wouldn't pay one cent for anything MM puts on paper.

You know if you go back and look at her and Means when she appears and they don't read the charges and she's smiling and was competent enough to look decent, she makes a move like she wants to say something..moo moo JMO..

Good point.

Certainly he would have had a sudden increase in stress, which is a bad thing for people with known heart trouble and other issues.
Increased stress and most likely finding out that "he has to go" from either Lori or Chad. He realized that he had to "take one for the team" and throw himself under the bus. JMO

Yes, and MM likely has a very bias outlook.

Not a part of this case but for example, Drew Peterson is now serving 70 years in prison because his second wife was exhumed and her death was then determined to be a homicide. Earlier autopsy showed drowning as cause of death, in her bathtub. Second autopsy showed drowning too but murdered. Drew was a police officer.

Regarding AC’s death, a pulmonary embolism isn’t a ‘guess’ or ‘go-to’ if they can’t find anything else during an autopsy. It’s an actual clot that probably traveled from his legs as a deep vein emboli/thrombosis and up to his lungs. A PE can be very fatal very very fast.

I once had a patient come into the ER screaming she couldn’t breathe and couldn’t be calmed down. There’s a little saying ‘if you can talk you can breathe’ so while we knew something was wrong we also knew she was ‘breathing’, but that’s how awful a PE is. She ended up dying within an hour of arriving to the ER from a PE. You can also have small (ignorable) symptoms for a while before it becomes fatal.

You don’t even need to be unhealthy to get a PE. Serena Williams got a PE after a long plane flight and some recent lower extremity injuries (both huge risk factors for PE). It’s all about clots and blood viscosity and blood pressure, etc. Hadn’t AC traveled to Las Vegas before his death to get married? He was probably pretty immobile for long periods of time, may not have been taking his BP meds, under stress which could have raised his BP and HR.

My point is, PEs are scary and sudden and can literally happen to anyone. I know we’d like to see the villains in this story be responsible for his death because it fits a narrative that makes more sense than him dying so suddenly and conveniently, but I just don’t see the ME getting this wrong. You can’t really induce a clot like that just to kill someone, and if you could it’s doubtful it would be big enough or travel far enough to cause a PE, Heart attack, or stroke without stopping at smaller veins first.

A PSA before I go, if you’re going to travel it’s important to walk and stretch your legs every hour and if your MD says it’s okay take a baby aspirin before.

MOO.
