About two weeks after the shooting, Melani texted Brandon that she had decided to move to Boise, according to court documents.

This all occurred in Idaho
The paintball incident was on the 9th of October

One piece of information in that story is incorrect. In the story they write ....

The divorce did not complete. Not only that but Charles had filed against her not the other way around. Even more, in every divorce involving Lori it was her husband that filed for divorce rather than her. Considering that 3 out of every 4 divorces are initiated by women this is significant.

Yeah, good catch...seems like many of the media reports contain errors, makes the case even more confusing! I didn’t realize that her husbands divorced her, that’s interesting...

So according to the latest police press release, in the weeks after Tammy's death, both Chad and Lori (together or separately?) told multiple witnesses that Tylee died in 2017. Chad also told another witness that Lori had no minor children. This just shows that they were both deceptive about her children and possibly both responsible for their disappearance. I'm wondering, what would be the occasion for such declarations? Their wedding in another state? Did they lie to total strangers and never expected to be called out on it? What was the purpose of declaring Tylee dead? To gain sympathy?

We don't know when exactly the last time Tylee was seen by another person, do we? I am behind, so forgive me if it has been stated upthread- I have a lot of catching up to do. This is bothering me- we know when Joshua was last physically seen from the school.

When was the last time her brother physically saw her and talked to her? Has he sad so in any of his podcasts?

No on all counts. While media has said Tylee was last seen in September (when, is vague in some, the 23rd - same as JJ - in others), it is all vague with no detail and, IMO, questionable as to accuracy.

Per Utah County Sheriff's Office (you have to do an inmate search under her name even though it was a print and kick) the arrest was on 11/14/2019.

He has not said.

Parent can receive some on behalf of a minor child if the other parent is deceased. So Lori could be receiving for both Tylee and JJ, although anything for JJ would have started fairly recently. The money for Tylee would have stopped at her 18th birthday, I think. (Believe it can go beyond 18th birthday if a full time student, at least a HS student, not sure about college.)

As for money due to a dead spouse from SS, that can happen, but not at Lori's age. If she was 62-ish (I think that's the age, but not positive) then the potential to get SS based on Charles rather than her earnings would have been there. I'm not sure what the requirements for that to happen are though and, since she was way too young, moot.

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but I had a thought.

JJ and Tylee are young. They are children. They may not know their mom is nuts. They may be so indoctrinated to this end of days prepping BS that they don’t know ppl are looking for them, and if they do know, their mom may have impressed upon them not to trust anyone other than Lori and Chad. Ya know how when you’re really nuts you don’t know you’re nuts, you may think everybody else is nuts. So the kids may think everyone else is the enemy bc of the “brainwashing” from their mom the last 18 months.

Sorry of course it was. It was the other incidents that were in Arizona, and it was Chad and Tammy who lived in Idaho. So do you remember Lori moving in with Chad? Also, do you know of any other paintball incidents with other people.

Good thought on the accounts, but to clarify... Charles was JJ's father, but not Tylee's. Tylee's father was Joe Ryan, who died in 2018, wasn't found for days, his death was determined to be heart attack, and his body was cremated. Tylee should have had survivors benefits from him.
