I have no clue why he wasn't arrested either. By the way in the video the body of Charles is on the floor but the bat isn't that close to the body. If he was holding the bat as he was shot, wouldn't you expect to find the bat right next to the body?
Welcome to Websleuths!Good evening. I’ve been following this thread and finally decided to comment. Does anyone else notice per body cam video that AC has his sunglasses on top of his forehead? Why?? Soo supposedly he was hit with a metal bat and then a tussle ensued. Wouldn’t those sunglasses have come off his head? Or he just happened to take the time to grab them before coming out of the house with his hands up?? This makes no sense to me
I think the same. If she were to run off with a special needs child (and even by herself) how would she survive on her own? She had friends and a half-brother, I'd expect her to contact at least someone for help.It appeared that Tylee did have some friends. If she had left home, she probably would have contacted one of them, or even her brother.
This is why I don't believe that Tylee is alive. She is old enough to have left, and gone for help.
I have zero doubt that Tylee is in contact with and receiving assistance from someone known to her, and much more likely than not a relative.I think the same. This video answers some of our questions such as whether Alex lived there. Alex says he doesn't live there but he had spent the night there the night before. Alex tells the officer he is a long haul truck driver and has his own home in San Tan Valley. The narrative is still pretty confusing, however, on what the fight was over, how it happened, who started it, who was there when, etc. Alex tells it as if there were two separate events -- first Lori and Charles were arguing and Tylee brought the bat out to defend her mom but supposedly CV took the bat from Tylee. Then Alex says he broke up that argument and that Lori, Tylee and JJ left in CV's rental car leaving CV and Alex there. Alex claims that CV hit him with the bat (after Lori and the kids left?) and then Alex says he went to the room he was staying in to get his gun. The police officer asks if Alex always carries a gun and Alex says yes. Alex claims he came back to the living room and CV was there still holding the bat. Alex claims he told Charles to drop the bat or he would shoot him. Alex claims CV didn't drop the bat so he shot Charles twice in the chest in self defense.
This whole story is such a bunch of bull. I don't understand why Alex didn't find himself under arrest that afternoon. But I guess his claim of self defense couldn't be proven false right away?

He was badly in need of a Timeline Guru to keep him straight.
Could you follow what he was saying when he said Tylee "came out with a bat" AND that the bat was "in the living room?"
What reason do you think Tylee would have for hiding? Is she afraid of her mother? Afraid of the "end times"? I just can't fathom it.I have zero doubt that Tylee is in contact with and receiving assistance from someone known to her, and much more likely than not a relative.
This is really maddening.I think he was saying Tylee came out with the bat about 20-30 minutes before he shot CV. Alex made it sound like he intervened and broke up that first argument and then the bat remained in the living room with CV. Then supposedly Lori and the kids left in CV's rental car and CV stays with the bat to threaten Alex for interfering in the earlier argument. That part doesn't make sense to me at all. Why did Lori take CV's car and why would CV would stay there? Alex is saying that he didn't go get his gun until after Lori left and after CV hit him in the head. Even the LEO asks Alex why he came back out of the room with the gun. Why not just stay in the room? Alex says he came back out and CV was still there with the bat and wouldn't put the bat down so Alex shot him. IF CV saw Alex with a gun, why would he come after him with a bat? This makes no sense, especially since CV has told people he was afraid Alex of Lori were going to kill him. MOO.

I always figured it was a Stand Your Ground type law...I hope this is a valid link to AZ Stand Your Ground laws. Prosecution has burdon of proof... So it appears it's not easy to prove. However, there's a section on down that explains when it is "not justified" that gives me pause.
It would make me happy if someone with knowledge of AZ law could address this.

I haven’t seen anyone attending to it, or wearing gloves around him.AC states in the video he cleaned his head up ( assuming blood from the bat hit).
Has anyone seen documentation that we was attended to by the medics who arrived while he was being interviewed on the curb?
I didn’t see a lump or bump or wound of any kind within the video and ( having experience in the medical field ) can tell u head wounds bleed like crazy.

Someone looks at you funny?....that's OK...just get a gun and kill them....
Lie about it...the law is on your side....
Are you a psychopath? All the best! That makes you a better liar! Stand Your Ground likes your type the best! (Sarcasm, but this is how these laws appear to me)
