If "Tylee's Jeep" was the vehicle, the Jeeps registered to CV are both a 2018 Wrangler 2D and a 2012 Wrangler 4D, I'm putting my educated guess that you don't give the kid the newer car. So Tylee's Jeep (impounded in Rexburg) is the 2012 4-door, and it might look a lot like this:

That would normally be a good point, but Charles was dead so we don't know if Tylee got the new vehicle or the old vehicle for sure.

Charles' older son did an interview saying he helped his father move back to Texas with JJ sometime in March-- no specific move date was given but the divorce was dropped Mar 6th according to court docs. I don't know why CV had a rental car. The landlord says that CV and Lori rented the Chandler, AZ home together in June. The landlord also says CV texted him Jun 10 (the night before he died) saying that he needed to find another place to live because it wasn't working out with Lori. The landlord planned to meet with CV the morning CV was shot. It sounds like possibly Lori and CV had a fight sometime before June 11th and CV went to a hotel and got a rental car-- My interpretation only. I'm just trying to figure out when CV and JJ returned from TX to AZ.

Charles was in a hotel.
"A former employee at a Gilbert hotel said Charles stayed there in the few weeks that led up to his death. The source said she expected Charles and JJ to return to the hotel for breakfast on July 11."

I think it was an error, when Charles found Lori's purse on the ground at school, for him not to take it immediately to the police and tell them that he 'found it on the ground at JJ's school so he didn't give it directly to her because of the animosity between us.'

That would have bought him some time to go to the bank while the purse was at the police department. JJ, during this time, was safe at school...presumably.

However....I don't think anyone thinks very clearly in the heat of those moments.

This is interesting information about the purse. I have been thinking about the detail in the bodycam footage, about Charles missing wallet at the scene. It was most likely in the rental car which Lori took, I wonder if Lori emptied it of all the credit cards/bank cards, to use for a bit... MOO

Just curious and haven't seen it discussed here...with regard to the morning that CV was killed, all accounts suggest that he was at the home early in the morning to take JJ to school. But it was July....aren't most schools on summer recess in July? Does JJ go to a special school that doesn't have a summer break? And yet the hotel employee said he planned to bring JJ back to the hotel for breakfast. If he wasn't taking him to school, why the lie?

We don't know for sure, but JJ is autistic so probably has a special summer school. Going to hotel for breakfast wouldn't prevent Charles from taking him to school later on.

We do learn that Lori and the kids were only at that address 3 weeks - so somewhere around June 20th.

She got out of there and took JJ to school, even though I don't think she was that concerned about children attending school, if one goes by Tylee.
I think she wanted him out of there. Autistic child would be a lot harder to coach on what to say or not say. Per grandparents, JJ had really great memory, so I guess he was somewhat of a savant.

There is a weird dynamic/exchange between Tylee and Lori, when the question of Lori's weight came up.

One thing about being a trucker, if you own your rig you can be based out of a lot of places. He does seem to always be where Lori is, though. Their relationship creeps me out in more ways than one (MOO).

I was wondering if anyone else was creeped out by this brother - sister relationship. After listening to the most recent podcast of the one we cannot talk about who space travels, and she said that the whole situation was 'gross'... now usually there is some truth mixed in with a bunch of baloney... and it made me wonder what would seem gross about this whole situation... hmmmm

Police officer seems to be in a rather jovial mood, considering he is talking to the widow whose husband has been just shot dead. Although of course she didn't look all that grieving.
