I just wonder if the authorities decided to move on her because of the alternatives that may have been: they were going to commit suicide or flee. Thank you officers!! Now the thing we need to steel ourselves for is to maybe hear the truth about the children. I pray for the best but my hope has dwindled down to nothing. Sorry.

From my understanding of Idaho code 18-405, spouses can testify for or against their partner, disregarding other spousal confidentiality laws. This would mean Chad may be detained for the purpose of testifying. Any legal experts able to weigh in on if this is correct?

't know if you guys have nixle where you live. It's a service where you can get text/email alerts. I get them from the Hawaii PD. They nearly always post mugshots although they are not always in the paper. I just signed up for Kauai alerts. If they post mug shots you all will be teh first to see them!

HA! I’ll take the bet that Lori cracks first. She’s more physically uncomfortable at the moment.

I just do not see her cracking at all. There is no incentive for her to say anything about the children unless she can actually produce them (alive). Confessing to harming them will only result into more charges. I think she will just smile like the cat who just swallowed the canary.

Wow they are charging her with criminal solicitation to commit a crime. So scared for those kids.

The charges included two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of dependent children, the Kauai Police Department announced. Vallow also faces charges of resisting or obstructing police officers, criminal solicitation to commit a crime and contempt of court, among others.

I assume they haven't charged Chad yet because they are trying to leverage him against her.

LV is the parent to both missing children, whereas CV is not.
She's the one with the duty of care for the kids.

LV is the one who was court ordered by the judge to produce both children at the courthouse.
She's also the one who violated those orders.

I think that's the likeliest reason for her being the only they've arrested.

For now, anyway.
