My nephew was receiving benefits for his mother I spoke with my sister who stated that he was unable to go in to the bank to pull out money until he was 18 however ... he was allowed to have a debit card at the age of 17 by she and her husband at .... the account had to have his name on it for reasons for SSI however due to him being a minor the account had to be opened by an adult... they did have to show his birth certificate and of course their ID’s ... if this helps this is only how one bank operates IMO

o/t i had a family of them who lived near me at my old house, they would visit weekly or every two weeks or so, i told him flat out i don't believe in what he does and i'll never come to your church

but we ended up staying friends for many years, saw his daughters grow up into nice young ladies and have families, he brought the new grand children around to visit

nice people if you find the right ones and you're clear with you about your intentions, some though will ignore you if your not apart of their religion

One of my best friends in high school was Mormon and she was great.

I usually just get Jehovah's Witnesses, but it's been awhile. Last time I just said, "I'm atheist, no thanks."

I think I speculated MBP and CR were both possibly cooperating. They were 100% absent from the Dateline special. The only mention of CR was basically Lori has 3 children. Jmo.
Thanks! I’ve been trying to dig around and see exactly why I remembered MB cooperating- but it also occurred to me that it could have been suggested outside of this site, too.

If so she needs to speak up!
Sounds like she is pretty entrenched in the whole cult thing according to her ex. I wouldn't hold my breath.

When you reach a certain age, it's all about the grandkids. Chad and Lori messed up if they didn't get that. MOO
And they made certain Charles and Tammy wouldn’t as well

Thanks!!

Sorry to be dense, but just clarifying. You would not need to identify the children, but rather the account holder....right?

(And now I don't even think this matters, because all that matters is what Lori thought she would need -- not what she actually would need -- in order to have the SS deposits moved over to a Hawaiian bank.).

In your scenario who is the account holder. I think if I'm not mistaken we are missing A piece of the puzzle and that piece is "in a case where children get social security from a deceased parent what does the account registration need to be does it need to be joint in parent and child name or can it go to just a parent only account. I don't know the answer to that.

It occurs to me that if MB wants to earn money for "the cult" maybe she should send in a tip and get the reward... just sayin.

This is Lori's 3rd night in jail! Yes, Chad, you have another night by yourself to ponder what your part has been in all of this. Come clean - it's not too late!

It could be all sorts of people. I just suggested one. I don't know. Babysitter was a month and ten days earlier in September. This was October 29.
So this is 6 or 7 days before LV marries CD in Kauai? It isn't making sense to me. Travel agent?

3 adults and 2 children so far possibly. Did he say this to LE?
Tally of 'suspicious deaths'
Lori's 3rd husband (Taylee father)
Lori's 4th husband (Charles)
Chad's wife (Tammy)
Lori's brother (Alex)

And they made certain Charles and Tammy wouldn’t as well

That's the saddest part, because I'm sure both of them understood that.

I guess Chad should be glad she's in jail?

Three a days have been suspended indefinitely.

Speaking of looking at things in the court room, did anyone else think towards the end Lori's lawyer looked to the back of the room and up? It was like he was looking at a clock. Jmo.
MOO. I think the head of the law firm who might have been a prosecutor for Kauai who might have been hired by LV /CD threw that lawyer under the bus by putting him in that room completely unprepared at the last minute, realizing he didn't want his good name associated with this heap of ___.

Lori would be the account holder, since the minor children couldn't open the account.

The children couldn't even be joint tenants, because then they would have all the rights to the account that Lori would have. So it would have to be:

Lori Whateverherlastnameisatthemoment,
As trustee (or custodian) for Tylee Ryan.

Anyhoo, thank you! I appreciate all the people trying to figure out what the birth certificates in the car are all about.

I don't think they are investigating Joe Ryan's death are they?

When my children were on Social Security death benefits it went in my account. After they turned 18 it had to be in their own. (they received it until high school graduation so, the maximum age they can get the benefit is 19)—-

So in this case, banks my require ID/birth certificates to open an account but my personal financial company does not for children, or adults for that matter, unless you apply for life insurance (to check driving record). Also my company along with many other have an account with the option of a checking account, so there are loopholes to avoid a bank. I have been in my industry for 8 years working from the bottom up (was suppose to be my college job to pay for college, big ups to my debt free friends on the forum, needless to say even with a masters degree im not made for software engineering but can answer questions there too) there have been a ton of changes but most Are regarding where money is coming from not identity unless you come in with a foreign check or money order.
