Kids must be worth something to the cult IMO.

Not necessarily the cult. IMO, money. Child support and whatever the children would inherit in the event of BB's death.

Eta: and out of spite to BB. MB hasn't just taken a page out of Lori's book. She has taken the entire book.

Bless your heart! I’m so sorry that happened to you but your neighbor’s family is truly blessed that you cleaned up so they could avoid that disturbing scene.

Every time I’m reminded that the cop mopped up CV’s blood it makes me furious. And I’m mystified as to why no one in the press seems to have questioned that behavior (and reported the officer in question has been disciplined or fired). Has anyone here seen it questioned by MSM?

I know everyone's angry about the evidence getting cleaned up but I've been trying to think about this in a different way. I keep wondering what was blacked out after it said the LEO made the decision to clean up the blood. Did the LEO do that because they were bringing Tylee back into the house along with Alex and Lori to go over the scene? I wonder if each person was brought in separately to go over their version of what took place? Tylee claimed she didn't see CV's body when she went to retrieve Lori's purse. Lori and Alex both saw his body but Lori left the house before Alex called 911 and Alex claimed Lori left before he shot CV. There are already inconsistencies in their accounts.

What if when they were all brought back in, and there was no blood on the floor, each described a different location for where the fight took place/where Charles was shot? And maybe Tylee traced the path she would have taken to get to her mom's room-- but what if detectives realized at that moment that Tylee could not have gone to her mom's room without seeing CV's body? Either Tylee lied or the body was moved by Lori and Alex. Or the timeline of events is not correct. What if cleaning up the blood (a rookie mistake?) was actually a positive thing for the investigation but police don't want anyone to know that yet?

Lori doesn't know everything that Alex and Tylee told the police. Alex and Tylee can't tell their sides again but Lori might someday. If Lori continues to state the wrong info it might incriminate her in the future. Hopefully I'm making some sense here... Perhaps I'm grasping at straws in trying to stay positive. I believe those conspiracy to commit murder charges are coming eventually. I hope we find out eventually that the cleaning up of blood at the crime scene was not part of some grand conspiracy to botch the investigation. MOO.

I wonder if they had any joint accounts. We know based on MSM that Chad had $138k at one point. But hadn’t heard anything about Lori’s accounts.
Do you really think Chad is daft enough to put her on his account? He must have read what she did to the business account she shared with CV. If he has done that he really deserves to lose that money. I mean you would be sleeping with one eye open surely?

Rent A Center rents furniture. They were picking it up. Jmo

I'd love to see some evidence for that, because that is very plausible and makes a ton of sense. This is really a very good insight.

It's all upthread. I'll see what I can find. Jmo

Just want to state that this is JMO. I was watching the news this morning and one of the clips they showed of MBP walking out of court (on AZFamily tv, but can't find the exact clip on their website). Could have just been a poor observation on my part, but she looked a tad bit preggo. Her walk and the way her dress moved over the belly area seemed like someone who may be about 4ish months along. Again, MOO. I'm probably way off on this, but thought I'd share my thoughts. I'm heading out to work, and will catch up on the thread later. Have a great day everyone!

I noticed that too!

That’s a good way to look at it, I hope that’s the case and she gets caught out. JMO

Can anyone remember if the house had flooring or carpets? I don’t think the blood would come out as easily from a carpet but flooring would clean pretty well IMO.

Autopsies found out cause of death in all of them who died because the family demanded it and so did their insurance for at least two of them. But to be fair, two were Catholic and one was athiest. Catholics here in the US don't usually have a real problem with autopsies. Jehovah's Witnesses, some Jews, and some Mormons as I understand it, do.

As for the family link, I find it CRAZY that Tammy's children did not demand an autopsy, personally. At least I know my family and friends are prone to strokes and blood clots. But a lot of people just don't want to know that stuff because it scares them and they don't like to think about their own death.
There is no Mormon problem with autopsies. There is a past problem with cremation, but that is not as prevalent today. Anyone, Mormon or otherwise, who had someone close to them pass away mysteriously, with zero indicators would logically demand an autopsy to determine what was the cause, and if they and others nearby were in danger as well. IMO, Chad convincing people that it was unneeded was a HUGE red flag, and as everything else came out, it became an even larger one.

Did anyone else notice that when MB was walking to court, that she has the same walk, smirk, and nose up in the air just like Lori?

That's a really good point. I wonder how quickly they can clear the scene and remove the body. I remember the large amount of text redacted and I would think the house would not be released back until all investigations were done. If someone has already admitted the shooting then does that change any procedures performed at the scene?

Yes, she seems to be emulating her in more ways than one.

I wonder if any of the players realize, that the first one to cut a deal with the DA, will be treated the best?

Maybe Chad's kids can talk to him about this.

I agree. Because she was young, healthy and fit - an autopsy would have revealed a possible genetic cause which would have been helpful to the children and grandchildren. I would imagine policy changes will occur in Idaho. If foul play comes up in the tox screen, they could honor Tammy by calling for mandatory autopsy in cases such as hers. Name it Tammy’s Law. MOO
BBM
This is exactly why I thought it to be so strange it (the decision for no autopsy) wasn't questioned-here we have a group with a huge interest in genealogy, family history (my mom is heavy into this and I have heard countless minute details of births, lifes, deaths, marriages ad nauseam of every one of our known ancestors), record keeping, etc., and NO desire to pursue further knowledge? Just makes zero sense to me. Moo.
ETA: In light of the comment I posted further down, I want to clarify I feel there are two "camps" in regards to my posts here, with this post being in regards to hers and Chad's children (and them standing behind/not questioning him), and the later post more concerning TD's family of origin. Again moo.

I can't believe an autopsy wasn't done when Tammy died. A young woman just dying and her husband, or her "family", says don't bother with an autopsy, so none is performed?

She seemed close to her family. I can't imagine they would have encouraged no autopsy.

I can't remember where I read it, one of the 258 news reports, but yes, an autopsy was performed. But LE has not released the results to the public yet. (I'm pretty sure!). I think they are waiting until they have Lori and Chad (at least Lori) in custody before they release the results.

I was surprised by that, too; I always had it in my mind that LE drove whether there was autopsy or not, not the family members, but as pointed out earlier, sometimes I be wrong.....

Man says ex-wife, who is cousin of missing Idaho kids, knows where they are; she denies it

2/28/20

Documents filed in Maricopa County Superior Court last week allege Lori Vallow's niece knows the location of her children who have been missing for more than five months.
[..]

In court documents, Brandon claims Melani told her new husband, Ian Robert Pawlowski, "sometimes children are full of light and then just like that they go dark." Pawlowski later told police that information, according to the documents.
[..]

In the recent court documents, Brandon [ex-husband of Melani] claims Pawlowski [new husband] told police that Melani [wife/niece of LV] told him she conspired with her uncle, Alex, to kill Brandon.

Brandon believed Melani conspired to kill him before their divorce finalized "to cash in" on a policy "to help support the cult that she is believed to be part of," according to the court documents.

"Father asserts that Mother had a Million Dollars of reasons to have Father killed," the documents stated.

Last December, Brandon told The Arizona Republic that Lori Vallow joined a radical religious group in 2018. In social media posts and media interviews, family and friends of Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell have described the couple's religious beliefs as cultlike and troubling, saying they spoke frequently of the end of the world.

RECORDS: Divorce papers show mom of 2 missing kids said she was a god, threatened to kill husband

According to Brandon, Melani began spending time with her aunt and the group before suddenly demanding a divorce last summer.

"Father asserts that Mother is heavily involved with a doomsday cult located primarily out of the town in which Mother currently resides. Mother left Arizona almost immediately after the attempt on Father's life, leaving without a trace and leaving her children behind," the court documents state.

"Mother only now comes forward as she feels that the suspicious death of her uncle who was the shooter in the incident involving children, has somehow freed her from her role in the attempt on Father's life. This is simply not the case," it continued.

Gilbert Police Department spokesperson Brenda Carrasco said Thursday that the investigation into the Oct. 2 shooting was ongoing. She said investigators previously contacted Melani about the case, but she has not been identified as a suspect.

"We are unable to substantiate the claims made about Mrs. Pawlowski in the child-custody court filings submitted by Mr. Boudreaux," Carrasco said. "Our investigators are continuing to follow up on all leads related to this case."
