i wonder if both of them are being lifted up within The Group as martyrs unto their GloRiOus CaUsEe. i truly hope all of this does not serve to *inspire* any more deaths & disappearances within the ranks of Chad's following, especially now that Time is rapidly growing short-- we're less than 6 months to D-day

<modsnip>

The LDS combined Manifest Destiny with religion, and that was a good brand strategy for the time, and even is still one now. But it's nothing new <modsnip>

How’d you do that? (Attach the documents here). I think I’m less tech savvy than Lori. ;)

For facebook images I right click on the image and select "copy image location".
Then I come here and select that little icon with the mountains.
Then right click again and paste.
It will show as [ IMG ] until after you post it.
Then I go and copy and paste the post link for a source (don't forget your source ;) ).
Tip: to get a link to be for the exact post instead of just taking you to the reporters page click on the time date/time first and that will take you to that post's URL.

I'm not super tech savvy either.
I learned all this partially by trial and error and from other members here.
Just don't ask me how to do it on a smart phone, LOL. :p:D

I think I started the false narrative that Hawaii won't extradite for misdemeanors or death penalty cases. The first was a misunderstanding of a source on my part. The second was pure speculation so I will try to clarify here:

There are many sources online that state that a few states do not extradite for misdemeanors. Hawaii is one of them. But what that means is that they will not go get a prisoner from another state on only a misdemeanor.

Under the US Constitution ALL states are required to extradite to any other state for any crime as long as the Governor requests it. Hawaii has no exemption for death penalty cases.

The only thing I will add is that Hawaii is extremely liberal and very much against the death penalty or even long prison sentences. So the possibility that a Hawaii governor would refuse to extradite someone for a death penalty case in another state would not surprise me at all. I could give you dozens of examples of Hawaii not enforcing the law. But should that ever happen it would go to the federal courts and Hawaii would lose. But I would not expect the process to be quick as Hawaii is in the unique position in the US of having been a sovereign country (ok, Texas was as well) with its own jurisprudence that is still respected. There is even an act of the US Congress acknowledging this. Hawaii willingly became a state but becoming a territory was under duress.

Nate is home in bed sick:

Nate Eaton - Reporter
2 hrs ·
DAY 58: I missed yesterday because I wasn’t feeling very well and today it full-blown hit me. I’m home in bed and didn’t get a chance to snap a photo with someone BUT I realized that 5 years ago tonight I signed off the air at WRIC in Richmond, VA and took a huge leap of faith moving to Idaho. I honestly thought East Idaho News might be a big flop - but thanks to you, it’s still here and I’m still getting to cover your stories. Here is my farewell in Richmond and, if you don’t mind, I’d love to see where you are commenting from. Could you drop your city down below? Thank you all!

Some interesting comments there. I think Nate will be among the first to know as soon as Lori is put on a plane for Idaho. I hope he rests up and is better by the time they transport her. He should get to be there to greet her at the airport and ask her again about JJ and Tylee. Get well soon Nate!

MOO.

Maybe don't talk about interstate law so much... Also though massive respect for owning up to your ignorance of it. We all make mistakes, and even though you added a LOT of qualifiers to your apology, it is valid and good.

Yes. I agree. Let’s imagine that Chad were a “normal”, innocent person, who just lost two spouses in 4 months (in this case, one to death, one to jail). I would fathom they would be destroyed inside. Destroyed. Mourning, barely able to get out of bed.

I feel like CD’s arrest is imminent, because imo he has obviously done and witnessed some shady stuff. I’m just befuddled how he appears so “collected.” Either 1) it’s a defense mechanism, numbly carrying on, going home, donating things, focusing on his white paper, because right now it’s just about survival; or 2) he truly has confidence that things will turn out just fine because of his revelations, beliefs, and general disillusionment.

Moo

Maybe. Personally I am VERY calm on the exterior even in extreme situations. I am very good in the heat of the moment and process things after the stress goes away. I'm not bragging. I've been that way all my life. Many times people have said to me "I can't believe you are holding it together." I'm not cold or unsympathetic. I'm just very focused, analytical, and logical. I do what is necessary to solve the immediate problem. I do my processing/grieving etc once the immediate crisis is past. I don't know if Chad is like me but for him the crisis is still in play.

We know he is hiding HIS children. I'm saying what if he was worried about Lori's as well and went up and took them. That would be kidnapping and a serious crime. But it would also explain where they are and why no one is talking. If I had reason to believe my relative might kill her kids because they were the only remaining witnesses to a murder that my relative committed, I think I would take them for their own safety and hope for leniency at any future sentencing.
yes BB went into hiding for safety of himself and his children,
and per East Idaho News, CV's son had this to say-
“I have been worried about my safety and my family’s safety because I don’t know how many followers she and Chad have. This needs to end.”
this is why i keep saying HOW BIG IS THIS THING? it clearly runs deeper or at least spreads wider than Melani and Lori and Alex and Chad. more families have been disrupted than only the Coxes and Vallows and Boudreaux's and Daybells. How many more, and how deeply??

I know this is completely off the topic at hand, but I was looking at their pictures yet again and I just can’t believe that JJ and Tylee are not biological siblings. They look so much alike.

is that *more likely* under ordinary circumstances for a woman her age, or taking into account for fact her husband had been casually mentioning premonitions of her death for several years, and fact said husband also stood to benefit from a recently (significantly?) increased life insurance policy at her death?

Even if the death was natural, what Chad said was wreckless. I recently watched a very interesting video with a former Navy Seal discussing how he is very careful with what he speaks. He says that when you speak something, you literally speak into existence.

Since the last time I posted a video URL, not related to the case, it was removed. I'll just list the title if anyone wants to listen to it, you can look it up. The title is:

"Tackle Goals Like A Navy SEAL: Chadd Wright | Rich Roll Podcast"

I had also listed some humorous music videos if interested, for those interested. Just to lighten the mood. I use music to help me deal with my PTSD and Anxiety.

2NU - This is Ponderous - Uploader (Bryan J Busch) (Classic 80's Goofy Song) - Similar in style to U2

Jinjer - Pisces (Metal Music - Reaction Video) Sounds a little jazzy, and very metal.

The bankruptcy was in 2008 (I think). Lots of people were hard up then and no one was buying books. Plus his popularity seems to be more recent. I don't think he makes much money but I found that bankruptcy information back in December and January and concluded it was irrelevant.
ok that answers one question i had but now i has a new one-- so he's an unsuccessful hack writer for a long time: Who or What lifted him out of obscurity and into a Following, and When, and Why?

sorry, i guess thats more like 4 questions

Wonder if it had to do with a way for a following to discuss online? When did that start?

I would think, if that were the case you contact the FBI to get involved. JMO
I don't have any inside information to contact the FBI about. BB has stated publicly for months that he has his kids in hiding. I'm just speculating that maybe he included JJ and Tylee for their own safety based on what he knows about the crazy cult.

This is fascinating.

I wonder if she has a cooperation deal with the FBI? I mean given her situation, any voluntary cooperation would need to be handled very carefully.

With all due respect, what was wrong with what she said that you took offense to it? I’m not familiar with Jim Jones.
Jim Jones led a group of fanatical christian that he convinced to commit mass suicide in 1978. For many of us it was a dire warning about the dangers of fanatical religion. Sad that this preacher has been forgotten.

Nhmemorymaker is not even being a little bit truthful. The Mormons moved West but they didn't do so peacefully. They invaded both federal lands and Native lands. They treated women like dirt which was standard for the time, but the bit about adding the element of polygamy but only for dudes, was REALLY short sighted, as was the whole racism thing they had.

The LDS combined Manifest Destiny with religion, and that was a good brand strategy for the time, and even is still one now. But it's nothing new, and it's followers are not as persecuted as they'd have us all believe.
sorry, not taking the bait.

i wasnt referring to LDS and the post NHMem wasnt being disrespectful to Mormon history. the point we were both aiming for, i think, is considering that this wackadoodle fringe offshoot Group in general, and Chad Daybell in particular, may very well be looking to history of martyrdom within the church and feeling martyrdom applies to him, or them, now as well.

Forgive me for my ignorance but I still don’t understand why a reference to him was hurtful to doctor attorney.

I agree it's fascinating. But give me a break. She was almost in an adjoining room! She knows what happened. By our timeline the kids disappeared before Melani moved. She had to have asked Aunty Lori where the kids were when she moved in next door. She is guilty as he11!
