I got banned for a few days so I could not address those who think AVOW are not domestic terrorists. The FBI defines domestic terrorists as

Terrorism Definitions
International terrorism: Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups who are inspired by, or associated with, designated foreign terrorist organizations or nations (state-sponsored).

Domestic terrorism: Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature.

A simple reading of the AVOW postings confirms they fit the definition of domestic terrorism. They routinely advocate for violence for political, religious, social, racial, and political reasons on their web site. AVOW clearly qualifies.

I agree the SPLC is biased but that does not mean AVOW does not meet the standard to be a criminal organization to the FBI
Besides Lori and Chad and their alleged dirty deeds, I'm not sure there are violent, criminal acts associated with, or inspired by AVOW? I think they are nuttier than a case of cashews at Costco, but...

"Yes, but only a little bit pregnant."

HA HA. My youngest, her nickname was "little bit" for years. She's now a rocket scientist at Northrup Grumman.

FBI should close them down. Although they are probably getting good intelligence from behind their paywall. At the very least they will have all of Chad's communications from them since 2015. In fact that is probably why they are not closing them down, now I think of it. MOO.

I agree. Let them talk behind their private paywall site all they want. "There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs."* Any lies told on their secret forum will be used against them in the end.

MOO.

Not sure if he's involved yet, but they are building up to Alex did it or heck maybe Brandon and so on. Someone else did it they are projecting as a defense. jmo
That’s what I think. They will say Alex did it but did not tell Lori he killed them. That he told her he hid them. And she has no idea where they are but she told Alex to hide them. Therefore: plausible deniability

Whenever papers say "cooperating with" it usually really means "being investigated by " IMO. The others in the circle will be taking note of this as they may be next to cooperate.
Indeed, last week we heard a report that Melani had admitted to her new husband that she was involved in the attempt on BB's life. But now she's "co-operating"? To me, sounds like she is dropping the dime on Lori / Chad for immunity. And she thinks she is going to get custody? Fat chance!

This 10/19 post is very interesting - especially how CD discusses Tammy’s visionary skills. Sheesh.
Minor correction, it was posted/published 10/31. I'd love to see the rest of what he said about her passing, but I don't subscribe to AVOW/GRI anymore and besides it would seem from my sources who do subscribe that CP may have blocked access to this particular post for whatever reason. Makes one wonder what they're hiding.

Chad on the AVOW forum on Feb 10: "The issue is that people are linking me to Julie's beliefs, which I studied but rejected." What is he referring to? Reincarnation or energy healing?

In turn Julie Rowe distanced herself from Chad and Lori's beliefs. What are those? Would Chad admit to having them?

Missing Idaho Kids Case: Chad Daybell Calls Situation 'Legal Mess' He 'Will Be Back' From On End-Times Website
I asked Julie on Twitter, "Do you see the kids in the forest, or a hot acid pool?" She blocked me.

(I was referring back to her previous statement on eyes open that 'she saw them in a well lit bright room' which yeah, is a bunch of malarkey.)

“I just find myself in the position of being one of the only people out there that has been willing to stand up and ask people to be patient and allow Chad & Lori’s side of the story to come forth in do time,” Parrett said. “AVOW ‘might’ have significant additional background material to share at the same time as well.”
BBM. Quite the plug for his forum, imho. Gotta keep his members interested, or even get some new ones, right?

Welcome back. So why are AVOW allowed to recruit subscribers?
It's not equivalent of course, but the KKK are still allowed to hold marches. The SPLC simply includes AVOW on a list of anti-government groups (which, if I understand correctly, qualifies them for the domestic terrorist watch list). What these lists mean in reality for us, or for the FBI, has been discussed thoroughly, and it's been suggested we get away from the political stuff. But I thought I would try to answer your question. MOO.
You can see the entire list of the many anti-government groups here:
Antigovernment Movement

Was RKY the editor of the GRI newsletter before Chad?

It is my understanding that RKY was the owner of AVOW before CP. From what I've gathered, it looks like Global Research Institute (GRI) existed as a separate newsletter, or group, belonging to RKY originally. It seems to me that AVOW later named a private subforum "GRI" after RKY's GRI. MOO, but fwiw I did post this link in my previous post:
https://studylib.net/doc/8815530/page--14--gri-newsletter--january-2009-©-roger-k.-young-2... (note it is from 2009).
(also, this is all only my understanding so I may be mistaken with some RKY details. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will clarify if necessary.)

Is believing in reincarnation compatible with the LDS doctrine? I don't know how these people can still claim to be LDS.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does NOT teach reincarnation or multiple probations. To us, hearing this talked about in the news by people who claim to be LDS is foreign and mind boggling.
@ThinkoutLoud and @nhmemorymaker are correct of course, @indicolite22. I thought I should point out (as there as been much discussion, and perhaps some confusion, about this in the past) that fundamentalist and fringe LDS-related groups may feel different about this. In fact, these alternative views may be how Chad and his associated groups came to believe such. I could point you to some blog posts with much more in-depth discussion of the matter, message me if you like - I'm not sure what goes as far as posting about that sort of thing. Or you might try googling LDS and "multiple mortal probations" or even Joseph Smith and "multiple mortal probations" to get an idea of what true Mormons, ex-Mormons, or alternative, fringe-type (or even fringe-fringe-type like Chad) "Mormons" have to say about the matter. It is discussed quite a bit on some LDS-related forums.
In any case, just to be clear, I will reiterate that the LDS Church does not teach MMP or reincarnation and it is not considered by the LDS Church to be compatible with their doctrine.

I hope some locals chime in. If there is some "general climate" to not trust government, are locals "happy" that extra service has been brought it, or somewhat disgruntled because of the intrusion in their lives.

I'm not local, but I don't think of Rexburg as having an anti-government climate. Most of their population is students at BYU. The kids went missing right as the school year was starting and all these students would be in town. I think there may be many students without a local connection that may be able to offer the FBI info on things they witnessed. The sheriff also said in his interview he was not aware of Chad's prepper group before this case. I think the group members are also spread out and not living in Rexburg, but I could be wrong as I have not sleuthed many of them. MOO.

Yes, the owner/founder as well, per the attached message/screenshot in my previous post. Not sure why it uploaded only the thumbnail instead of the full sized image, but you can still make out what it says, if barely.
Are the founder and the current owner the same person? I mean has someone actually seen two different faces for these two people?

I am thinking they are getting ready to transfer her. I'm not familiar with legal descriptions such as what "Administrative Order" could be.

Just from the title, it could mean a few things, but in this case, at this time, it’s a good bet it’s related to the transfer from Hawaii.

SBM. I think you mean Nate, but yeah I agree. It's ridiculous to say they haven't had a chance to tell their side of the story. If it's a custody dispute, why have they not said that? Or had their lawyer say that in a statement? The simplest answer is because that's a lie and it would land them in even deeper hot water to try to make that claim now. Their lawyer can't knowingly lie for them.

MOO.

Maybe because it’s a “custody battle” where they’re not trying to KEEP JJ, but instead get a million dollars for transferring custody of him to KW&LW? And KW&LW countered by saying they would just sue for custody based on LV trying to SELL her kid. So LV put the kids “into hiding” (Tylee first, to prepare the hiding place) to make sure KW&LW didn’t get custody through the courts.

And then KW&LW counter by sending evidence of CV’s murder to the police and then LVD counters by having Alex “die naturally” because what police dept is going to pursue a murder case when the murderer is dead too?

The only problem with all of this is it would require the grandparents to be hiding a lot of information, and also it’s completely a figment of my imagination. :p

For those that may have followed other cases, what do you think of the FBI setting up in Rexburg like they did?

I am not sure. But I love the visual it gives to certain locals.

HA HA! Indeed, it's the million dollar question. Lori lucked into $75k from Joe Ryan, and now it's her new line of work, collecting on life insurance. CV was #2 and Tammy #3. OOOPS, CV saw it coming and changed bene's. Oh snap! Now what is little witch Lori going to dream up? Yeah, I'll bet the schemes in her head... ARE complicated. Poor Chad, caught in her honey trap. How does he explain to his parents and kids that he was involved in the brokering of these two innocent children?

I second that. I have a serious obsession with this case. We need a support group after this.
We should call it "The Doomsday Addiction Recovery Group", DARG for short. :)
Sign me up!
My hubby doesn't get it. He has seen the Dateline and Dr. Phil episodes. And I don't get how he doesn't "get it". LOL o_O:rolleyes:

LOL, I live in Boston and there are Dunkin Doughnuts on every corner.... they're even in the subway!

I didn't realize LDS members couldn't drink coffee?! Actully I don't get a lot of the rules, I learn something new about them everyday! Here in the North East we almost never see Mormons... except the one's who come banging on the door which we generally hide from (no joke, people up here pretend not to be home).

Crazier still, I was born and raised in VT and NEVER had heard of Joseph Smith... It wasn't until two young missionaries came to my door on a 90 degree day in full skirts and long sleeves (I felt so bad for them I invited them in to sit in the AC) that I learned he was from home. I don't think they knew what to make of me though b/c I had on short cut offs a tank top with back tattoo exposed and my hair up in a messy bun, lol!
I live in Rexburg and we hide when the Mormons come knocking too!

Living in the intermountain west amongst these folks, I can tell ya, they are generally pretty strong conservative minded and mostly vote GOP. (as you can see on POTUS voting maps) That said, yes, historically, "less government regulations, less involvement needed, keep out of our business, we're doing fine, thank you." But people are concerned about kids as well. This is an isolated case with child victims, and IMHO they welcome LEA joining to either find the kids or complete a legal resolution. They would be offended these people harm children in their midst. At least, I am!

New Poster! Been reading this thread and it is very informative. As a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I find learning about these fringe groups extremely eye opening and educational. I had NO IDEA these existed and my family goes way back with the church. I’m related to Joseph Smith. I’m grateful I am learning about them so as to watch out for people who might subscribe to these outlandish beliefs, that I might be able to warn them about how wrong these beliefs are. We do not know everything and there is much speculation but there is definitely proof of lying to LE and I hope these individuals receive the deserved legal consequences of their actions.

Just a thought, but I wonder if some major news outlet/ program like 60 mins offered Chad a boatload of cash, he would do a long interview or special?

He has shown in the past that he likes the attention, plus he could blast his strange Prepper theories to the world and he has a clear need for money... They could claim "we want to tell your story" or "clear your name"... I feel like someone with a good read on his psychology/ motivations could possibly convince him. Maybe Lori as well, but I think that's less likely.

It certainly would offer some great clue's if they actually could get an in depth piece.

Also I do think LE is intentionally placing stories in the press, there is a strategy at work here, maybe hoping one will crack, also a divide and conquer tactic... and things certainly seem to be heating up.
MOO.
Anyway, it's super late here and 7 yr old lil guys get up eeeearly! So g'night my fellow Support Group... what was it again DPSG? I'm blanking :p

But do programs like that actually ever pay their subjects big money for an interview? If they do, I suspect he has a price. MOO

Are the founder and the current owner the same person? I mean has someone actually seen two different faces for these two people?

From the previously attached thumbnail that is too hard to read:

WHAT IS GRI?
In 1989 Roger K. Young began an exhaustive research and analysis of Global Events. He then published his work and began a lecture tour to outline his findings. In 2005 he published a list of Global events which, according to his analysis, he believed would happen in the near future. In 2008 the Global Research Initiative was formed to continue his research and analysis of global information and present it in a timely manner for those interested in understanding and knowing more accurately the What and Why and the Future of Global Geographical, Political, Economic and other critical events throughout the world that will affect them and their lives.

For 10 years Roger acted as the chief editor and publisher of the newsletter that went out each month to subscribers around the world. This last summer Roger voiced his desire to step down as chief editor and turn the reigns over to someone else who could pick up the baton and continue to the race without missing a step. Today we announce that the GRI Newsletter has a new Editor and the first new issue has been released!

LDS-AVOW, in conjunction with author/publisher Chad Daybell took over the day to day operations of GRI in October and Roger K. Young now acts as a guest commentator as his time and desires allow.

So, per the document, RKY was the original founder and publisher of the GRI, and then in October 2015 he turned ownership/management of it to AVOW and Chad Daybell.
