We are staking out the jail after hearing from sources that #LoriVallow’s ankle monitor has arrived. We’re told a bail bondsman has to come by first, it’s a short process after that. #azfamily

I wonder what's taking so long for the bail bondsman to show up? Did anyone actually see Chad going to a bail bondsman? What if he can't find one willing to take the risk? How many bail bonds places are there that he could use? I hope our valiant journalist friends are not going to spend a cold night waiting outside the jail for nothing to happen...

The owners house for that is in Idaho. C&D's owners were in Idaho, but recently moved "back to Utah" IIRC.

You know how we have discussed over and over how the LDS Church isn't going to publicly come out and make a statement on this case..? In my opinion, this is how I think LDS Church is going to handle it. Call all of these people in to and ask them what they are doing and how they are involved with this bizarre fringe doctrine. Then they will be told continue and you lose you church membership and you will be excommunicated. They will be given a choice and decide themselves. I’m brining some comments forward because despite many discussions people still get this wrong.

There are only 2 ways to make bail. Either the accused or their advocates put up 100% of the bail or, a bonding company puts up 100%. That’s it. In either case the court is going to get 100% surety from someone for LV to make bail.

If CD can’t com up with 100% he will need a bonding company. They charge a FEE, typically 10% but always negotiable, for their services. It is NON REFUNDABLE. It’s how they make money. The bonding company will then guaranty the court 1M. If she bolts, bonding company has to find her or they lose 1 MILLION DOLLARS. Some asked if the bonding company actually gives 1 million up front, probably not. For smaller bonds they might but for this one no. They use insurance company’s and buy something like a “Performance Bond” listing the court as payee. The bonding company has to pay a premium for this product.

Hope this clears up any misunderstandings. The same questions keep gettin asked and getting answered wrong. Cheers all...
Thank you so much!

@Christ is Truth I tweeted Justin Lum if they saw a bondsman out there by the jail

Lori's cheer row was really empty today, wasn't it? Compare that to the people that squeezed into the section representing JJ and Tylee.

Also. :) I think the prosecutor was anticipating Lori's bail getting lowered. He may have more teeth than we saw. He may be hiding his fangs to sneak up on a bulldog. ;) You never know. Jmo
Yeah, maybe he's hoping she makes that bond and when he see her again she'll only have two lawyers!:DJmo

Something else just came to me. Is the bondsman going to be willing to post the bond before they have the 100K (or whatever it is) fee? What form would that take? I'm guessing there is probably a way for Chad to move the money electronically or if he had a bondsman semi-lined-up, might have worked out the logistics in advance, but if not, I could see a wrench getting thrown in the works tonight.

Oh shoot. I'm sure Lori has it in a baggie somewhere!;)

Can somebody ask via Twitter or other means if they've seen the bail bondsman yet? I'm wondering if any will step up. Probably since it's an easy $100k. But, like someone else asked, do they have the $Mil collateral?

I don't see how they could have $1 Million collateral unless they have several friends/family members willing to put up their homes. Chad's house and land is only appraised at $204,543.

And Chad still hasn't paid his property taxes from the second half of 2019 (pg 227): http://www.co.fremont.id.us/departments/treasurer/unpaidlisting.pdf

Oh oh. I'm not sure how I got singled out here. :) But yes. This gives them plausabile deniability (or something like that) in that they can say, "they aren't Mormons." But they also aren't making a big public statement which, to be fair, if they did it would make it more likely that people would think of them when they hear Mormon. For those old enough, think in terms of Charles Manson and Scientology (since he claimed to be a member). Which isn't to say that Scientology (or any other church) doesn't have issues, but Scientology's issues are different from Manson's.

Ive seen bondsman team up to share the risk on high bond cases. Downside is they split profit

But on a positive note, that probably means that he doesn't have a mortgage on the house. (If he does then I'm going to bet if they didn't pay the property taxes that he's way behind on mortgage payments as well.)

I think the value of his property went up, if I'm not mistaken, since this all went public. I seem to remember somebody posting a while back that the house was roughly $157k. I might be mistaken. Does anybody else remember?

ETA: In the states I've lived in (where I've own homes), taxes were paid out of escrow. Is ID different?

Interesting. Bailbonds with ethics. Maybe Chad just didn't realize how much money this is going to cost, and he is having 2nd thoughts.

Maybe there are not any bail places in Rexburg that will handle a bail that large. Will he have to arrange transactions from out of state? I don't know how it works.

BTW, on East Idaho news FB page, people all over Rexburg are wearing shirts...."WHERE ARE THE KIDS?".

Gotta love that town!

Wow. Basically "destroying the evidence." Of course those "unscrupulous local church leaders" could possibly use the internet wayback machine to find the people who need to be excommunicated.

The people that started (Pathway to Zion) started it for Chad and I and other dreamers and visionaries who were being persecuted... I know, as of a month ago, (Hector Sosa) was still talking to Chad." Hector Sosa Jr. has defended Chad Daybell on other online message boards.

I personally interacted with Hector Sosa in comments on YouTube. He was smug and arrogant (which is the theme among this lot) and 100% believing this was about custody. Refused to say if he actually knew the kids were safe though. All MOO.

I was busy at work during the court hearing, but made the mistake of watching it later. I threw up in my mouth a little - several times.

She loved every single minute of it! She loved the attention. She loved having answers. She doesn’t care about anyone in that room. The prosecutor stood up for CV during the hearing today! He said how she - the evil witch - didn’t follow judge’s rulings many times in the past.

She was smug. She smirked and smiled and laughed and still didn’t answer the question. Where are the kids?!! Isn’t it amazing that her attorney can sit there and spout all of that crap instead of ending the “farce” by producing the kids?? They can’t produce the kids because she considered them dark and...

today was very emotional for me. It hurts to see someone so very narcissistic and wretched!!
