Interesting. Bailbonds with ethics. Maybe Chad just didn't realize how much money this is going to cost, and he is having 2nd thoughts.

Maybe there are not any bail places in Rexburg that will handle a bail that large. Will he have to arrange transactions from out of state? I don't know how it works.

BTW, on East Idaho news FB page, people all over Rexburg are wearing shirts...."WHERE ARE THE KIDS?".

Gotta love that town!

Three places come up on Google Maps in Rexburg, then 6 in the Idaho Falls area. No way of knowing how much any one of them could handle, but I could imagine that those thinking they might have to get someone to broker a deal with multiple bond companies taking part of the deal/profit/risk as the ultimate solution, but that could take time as well.

This is what I am talking about...These fringe groups are getting spooked :

Adam Herbets on Twitter
Hector Sosa, Jr. wrote he is worried members of his website will be excommunicated from the LDS Church, especially if they discuss their "non-traditional" beliefs in public. He specifically wants members to avoid discussing "energy healing" and "multiple mortal probations

Not being too familiar with LDS doctrine, does this align, or no? I'm assuming not. Look at what he writes at the top. "There is a difference between being wicked versus being evil." Woooowwww. So is Lori wicked or evil according to his definition? LOL and then at the bottom of the page... "sent telepathically..." I'm rolling at that one!

Wow. Basically "destroying the evidence." Of course those "unscrupulous local church leaders" could possibly use the internet wayback machine to find the people who need to be excommunicated.

MOO

Why do they stay in a religion that they feel they are above?? Why not give up the farce and start their own. Especially when they are claiming that their leaders are using unrighteous dominion?

Ooooooooo, Adam's on the case... found his own exploratory niche with Hector Sosa, Julie Rowe, etc... soon he'll be joining Justin and Nate in Rexburg. Also grateful to him for linking this up:

According to divorce papers obtained by FOX 13 in January, Lori Vallow believed she was married to James the Just in a previous life.

Julie Rowe confirmed with
@fox13
that Chad Daybell told her he has lived multiple lives on other planets... and that one of his previous lives was as "James the Less" aka "James the Just."

I really feel for Colby.

His world just got upended. I can empathize with how hard this is on him. His mom should be giving him answers, and she is not. Instead she is being selfish, and cutting him out of her life.

I can see that Colby is recognizing what is going on, and is dealing with the best way he knows how.
That's still his mom, and he's struggling with his emotions right now. My children have been through a similar ordeal, and it is not easy to process.

Part of you wants to remember the "good memories" and block out all of the "bad memories". Then you get to the point where you just have to face this head on. I wish the best for Colby, I am glad that he has people in his corner.

However, this turns out, Lori has lost her kids.

You know how we have discussed over and over how the LDS Church isn't going to publicly come out and make a statement on this case..? In my opinion, this is how I think LDS Church is going to handle it. Call all of these people in to and ask them what they are doing and how they are involved with this bizarre fringe doctrine. Then they will be told continue and you lose you church membership and you will be excommunicated. They will be given a choice and decide themselves. MOO (Yes I am an active member of the LDS Church, Big AL already knows this but maybe others dont) MOO

Here’s an interesting article for anyone who is curious. It addresses JR by name and other doomsday preppers and self proclaimed visionaries like HS and CD (though not by name) with quotes from LDS leaders and other thoughts. It’s not a statement from the church on this case, but it does include the stance the Church has taken over time toward these groups. I liked this paragraph for example:

If the call to be prepared to build tent cities was so important wouldn’t this come to the prophet to tell us so that all could know, instead of to a single individual whose influence could only reach a few? Is that the way the Lord loves his faithful children—warn just those who happened to read a book?

I hope this source is allowed. Sorry if I’m in the wrong.

I'm going to guess that starting their own religion would put them too far out there which would be a bad business move and make it obvious how far out there the are to their prime set of potential new customers.

I’m told Lori Vallow is still waiting on a bondsman to accept. We are waiting.

Charles and kay are siblings.
kay is jj's bio grandmother. (kays son is jj's bio dad)
charles is jj's great uncle. also his adopted dad.

Charles and lori are much younger than kay and her husband. the grandparents had him to begin with and Charles decided to adopt him to help and keep jj in the family dynamic .
so they kinda all had a hand in raising him together.
a beautiful supportive family.

hope this helps.

moo

Lori is 46.

Charles was 62 when he died.
Kay was his younger sister.

It would be a very interesting conundrum if Chad and Lori attend the LDS church in Rexburg. That would really take the cake.

I think that if they do something like that, that it would be "discouraged" by leadership.

She’s wicked and evil and a total disgrace! Worst of the worst! My heart breaks for the kids and the families!

So they've been married for centuries? I wonder why she didn't tell the judge she preferred to be called Lori Just. (Or would that be Lori the Just?)

A Mil is substantial. It is going to depend on what companies, if any, have insurance coverage that high. Big city or big companies would likely carry a policy in that amount but smaller/rural areas, iffy. These companies all have standard endorsements on hand to present at any time to the court. That’s how they provide 7/24 service.

Unless Chad has a bag of cash, I don't think he is going to be able to move any money until Monday.

Shift supervisor tells us Vallow is in her own cell by herself. Again, no update on a bondsman taking the deal.

This is unrecognizable and in no way even remotely does it align with LDS doctrine. They are right to worry about excommunication. They have invented their own religion. I am LDS. I cannot even begin to describe how insane all of this sounds.

ETA: And yeah, “sent telepathically. “ What in the world?!?!?
