No I agree I am sure the podcasters/conference attendees all know each other and I know some podcasts were made on 6 Dec 2019 so that could be when she decided to contact LE. I am sure they would all have been discussing CD/LV marriage for some time by then, but why go to LE when nothing was known about the missing kids at that time? That's the bit I don't really understand, that's all. Also, I don't know what other podcasters live in Rexburg, so I cannot comment on that.

Perhaps in her conversations with other podcasters, etc., she mentioned the calls she got on Nov 26th, and the other person mentioned they hadn't seen JJ or hear Lori mention him. Just an example. Basically, something could have made her realize something fishy was going on. It may be something she told police that hasn't been mentioned to the public. After all, we only know what is being released, and one day we will look back and it will make sense when we get those missing details. I wasn't trying to prove a point, I was more or less thinking out loud. Lol. Sometimes when I read other people's ideas or thoughts, I go off on a tangent in my head and I try to see if the theory has any merit or truth to it. Feel free to scroll when you see my comments, especially today. Lol.

Back to CV's shooting. In trying to find a quote by AxC I went back and listened to the 911 call he made on July 11 and also watched the police bodycam footage. There is a brief period of overlap where you can hear the same thing on the 911 recording and the bodycam. Basically this proves AxC is claiming on the phone to be doing chest compressions on a person with multiple chest wounds* and directly from there walks outside and has no blood on him, his clothes, or his hands.

Police later find blood on the sink which AxC says is because he washed his hands.

Why did he have (literal) blood on his hands after shooting CV from across the room? But not have blood on his hands when he is doing CPR on CV's chest that is full of holes?

*from bodycam footage we hear 1 officer say "is that 3, 4, 5 shots?", we hear the officer with the bodycam tell another officer who appears to be marking shell casings "there are a couple more shell casings over there" and we have someone at CV's body saying "exit wound here, entrance wound here, exit wound here,...he's been shot many times"

At a minimum we know that she was at least semi-active in church while in Hawaii which is how she met her friend April. I'm also going to guess that she or someone in her family was at least somewhat active in Arizona because the cover picture on Tylee's Facebook page is a picture of one of the Phoenix area temples, NOT something a typical 17 year old is going to do, period, in my experience. I can't imagine Tylee came to the point of doing that on her own.

None of which is an argument that Lori was following the teachings of the Mormon church, only that I think it likely that she was going through the motions of doing so, at a minimum, and possibly spinning things she was doing that appeared to be outside of the norm as "following a higher law," one way the mainstream church has of excusing/gaslighting when those in power stray, so IMO, not that far outside of the norm if Tylee has observed that in other situations.

Big Al.. you have raised conjecture. Do you think that she was always more of an edgy Mormon? ( i know from her high school friend she seems to be an earnest Moron, no alcohol etc) but could have she been edgy in the way she led her life. And maybe this far-out stuff that the LDS followers/who were churning out this "out there stuff" just gave her the advantage of mixing her crazy life of having been raised harcore Mormon and living a crazy life, and thus being able to turn it into her way of reconciling both with getting on board with the "Chads of the World"?

His go to source of income was cemetery sexton, the books were a later source of revenue and relied on TR to help run the publishing biz. I thought I read in the timeline that a sexton job is what brought them there. I prefer the term "gravedigger" btw, nothing against people who chose that as a job, just serves as a double entendre for me.

Just curious does Idaho allow spouses to be shielded from testifying against spouses? Seems thats a right inferred by the Constitution. I think thats a partial reason for so many instant marriages in this case.

Spousal privilege exists but thankfully it does not apply for injury or welfare of a child. So they may be able to cover up some things for each other, and there is a fair amount of speculation this is why AC, MBP, etc got married in a hurry, but it doesn't protect anyone from telling the truth about JJ and Tylee.

I think its very possible that she retrieved the gun and pulled the trigger. Oddly enough of the 5 people present that day , 2 are dead, 2 vanished and 1 is smiling. Its not clear if LE checked the gun for ballistics or prints. AxC could easily have wiped hers off and put his own on. They had time to wash hands, apparently no one checked for powder. LE simply took AxC's word for it... which is strange in itself. Agree the stories dont add up. No followup by a detective? LE malpractice it seemed. But now there is a real investigation. How would they prove she did it now?

Good question-Mishandled by LE from the get go, all witnesses are gone, and without evidence of premeditation, abysmal.

I used to swap freezer meals with a group of ladies. Each person makes 5 of the same dish. Keeps one a trades with everyone else. End up with 5 different meals. They may have had a class on freezer meals and assembled them together. There are many cookbooks. Not uncommon for a church ladies group to do that.

Just, we've seen a photo of them young that calls into question being what would be called active Mormons, just active enough for Lori to go to seminary, which isn't actually all that telling of being really involved as a family. I've seen or heard nothing that tells me AxC was thinking of himself as Mormon either as a teenager or adult. I don't think it's insightful to think of him through that lens. MOO

I don't know what photo you are talking about and maybe it isn't relevant to my question, but how can you tell from a photo if someone is likely an active Mormon? Is it the clothes covering temple garments (if that is the right terminology?)? Or is there something else you are seeing?

ETA: Genuinely curious, and I don't doubt you. Rereading my question it seems glib and that wasn't my intention.

Great question. The only part I remember reading (somewhere) is that they told her JJ was at Kay and Larry's (JMO in case it wasn't posted here from a verified source), which would still raise the question if I were MG, as to why they needed her to lie.
