Thank KH. I looked at flights from HLN to SLC and could only find two. O830 and 21.45 (terminal 2). Do they also fly from another terminal?

Most of the major airlines have a late evening flight that leaves between 8-11:30 pm. They could easily catch one of those direct from LIH and connect in LAX, DEN or PHX to get to SLC, all major airline hubs. Lots of options for them but I doubt they'll use any of them. They are't going anywhere. MOO

For the life of me, I can NOT wrap my head around this case!!

IF (a big ole IF), Lori shows with the kids, then what could have possibly have been the point in all this?!?! I mean, the newlyweds could have just gone on about their business and no one would have a clue about any of this!

If the kids are alive and well, then what are they running for? Has to be something. IMO- the deaths of their spouses has to be it!

Law enforcement tight lipped over Lori Vallow case in Idaho

Lori was married to Charles Vallow.
Charles' sister, Kay, has a son.
Kay's son is the biological father of JJ (bio parents are not named in MSM so we can't name them here).
JJ's biological parents had some issues and were unable to care for him when he was born.
JJ's grandparents Kay and Larry took care of him for the first 9 months of his life.
Then Kay's brother Charles (and his wife Lori) legally adopted JJ while he was still a baby.
That makes Charles biologically JJ's great uncle, but legally JJ's father.
Charles is now deceased (shot to death by Lori's brother Alex).

ETA: JJ's bio-parents are alive but only Lori has legal parental rights to JJ currently. JJ's Bio-parents either gave up or lost their parental rights when JJ was adopted. MOO.

I'm seeing clearly now....lol


Lots of caffeine and flowcharts needed!!!! JJs grandmother felt she was too old to raise him. So her brother, Charles and Lori adopted him. Charles is now dead.

I feel for those poor people. Worried sick over their grandkids and freezing their tails off while throngs of camera’s and microphones welcome them. I hope they get to have a quality sit down w/LE while they’re there if the kids don’t turn up tomorrow.

That was my interpretation. Doesn’t look like they are rethinking the original self-defense conclusion. I’m not clear on what “open” means if they’ve decided it’s self-defense. They said again today the only reason the case is still open is because the kids are missing. I don’t get it, but I’ve been unimpressed and puzzled w/the way they’ve handled the investigation from day one.

That is interesting. I wonder why it is so long...toxicology results? We have no idea how he died, major silence on that.
