JMO. There are ways to obtain multiple DLs/IDs. (Not legally)
Some states do not require blood tests or a waiting period. Some do not even require documentation. Just provide a date and an hour later you’re married by the JP.
They don’t verify the information.
See below for Florida.

Out of State Residents / US Citizens:

  • If you are an out of state resident you may obtain your Florida Marriage License by our using our Florida Marriage License By Mail program.
  • You may also obtain your Florida Marriage License at any clerk of court in the State of Florida.
  • Bride and Groom must have valid photo identification such as a driver’s license, state identification card, government or military identification card, or a passport.
  • There is no waiting period for out of state residents.
  • If either party was previously married and divorced, the date of the divorce will be required. If the date of the divorce was within the thirty days prior to the new application for a marriage license, a certified copy of the recorded final order will be required.

My apologies for asking this, but I am unable to keep up with this thread. Are there no legal consequences for having missed the Thursday deadline to produce the kids? LE hasn't gone back to Hawai'i to arrest them for violation of that order?

Not thus far and, at least for that failure, reportedly only being found in contempt of court which is a relatively minor thing. But it does move things along in various ways.

Any opinion on who took them to Hawaii?
If this would be the case in MOO, I’m sure that she set someone up that LE or family would not recognize. Cut Tylee’s hair, maybe glasses for both, have them as far away as possible. Neither of them are too “unordinary” looking. Not necessarily completely hidden, but definitely low key. As it has been said, it’s easy to be hidden. With the amount of tourists in and out, probably very easy. Just scenario thinking as we all are. JMO

One week ago today, I confronted Chad and Lori Daybell in a hotel resort parking lot. Today I'm told they attended meetings at the LDS Church in Lihue, Hawaii. They were seen speaking with the bishop and acted as if everything was ok. One member overheard them saying media reports are one-sided and lies. They told ward leaders they wanted to attend church but didn't want to cause any problems. They acted normal, friendly and didn't seem to have a care in the world. A member was surprised that THEY brought up the news and police in a room with several people. Oh, and Tylee and JJ? They were not with them. Had they been, I'm sure the ward would have welcomed them with open, loving arms.

I honestly think they are trying to push her into making mistakes and showing her hand. Their #1 priority is getting those children back - one way or another. And they may have more of an idea of the kids situation than we think. JMO

I doesn't. Like I said, it list a wrong employee for me and a completely wrong income I supposedly reported.
Yep. For me it has my name, age, address, past addresses and a couple of relative’s names correct. My “known associates” are people I’ve never heard of and my profession is one I’d be arrested for trying to practice. Shows me working for an employer I never heard of in a town I’ve never worked in. Income is way off too.

I think Lori did when she took Jj out of school in Sept. MOO.
Good call, I never even thought of this, duh, no one was even aware of them being missing until mid November or later.

I wonder...
Is this the first time they've been to church since arriving in Hawaii?!

You own post doesn't say his rights were automatically restored. He would be allowed to have his gun in his home after five years. That's it. If you think he would have his full rights restored in five years, you are wrong.
"Under Texas state law a convicted felon may possess a firearm in the residence, in which he lives, once five years have elapsed from the date his sentence was discharged. This means the later of release from prison or parole. This is not true under federal law. So, while a convicted felony could lawfully possess a firearm in these very limited circumstance under state law, he could possibly be charged and convicted under federal law, even though current federal policy is to defer to state law on this issue."
Convicted Felons Possessing Firearms in Texas

Alex's felony assault offense in Texas went through deferred adjudication, so after he served his time and kept his nose clean for a few years after being released, the felony was not entered as a final charge. So, the federal felon in possession law doesn't apply to him, and he can possess firearms. There is a bit of case law back and forth about this, but this is the consensus.

I think we went through all this, but it was probably seven threads ago o_O.

I think that is possible to do that on a life insurance but it may be more difficult on a 401k type plan. He also changed his mind on the divorce so did he change his mind on the life insurance beneficiary also?

It is very easy to change for a 401k. Unless his life insurance was mandated by a court to make someone a beneficiary, that's easy to change too.

Well after 5 years that Texas requires a felon to have their gun rights restored. It's automatically restored in TX per my prior post. 2008

FOX 10 obtained an affidavit for the arrest warrant issued for Alex Cox from 2007 in Travis County, Texas. The court documents reveal Lori's brother Alex was accused of threatening to kill her ex-husband.

The second incident was at a child custody exchange in Texas, according to court documents. In 2007, Lori and her ex-husband Joseph Ryan were exchanging their daughter Tylee, when Alex followed Joseph into the parking lot wanting to talk.

There, he allegedly shocked him with a stun gun and threatened to kill him. Joseph was able to escape. That next year he pleads guilty to an aggravated assault charge in the second degree and served three months in jail.
Court documents: Lori Vallow's brother threatened to kill her 3rd husband in Texas
Only to keep in your home from what I read. If you want to have it anywhere else you need a pardon. In Florida you would have to file to get you right to bear back.

Didn't he tell Chandler LE he had a concealed carry permit and he always had his gun with him? They would have checked that right?
Ummm, and as the wife of ex LEO, I don’t say that lightly, but there seem to have been a lot of mistakes made all along the way. I believe that is a lot of what has contributed to LV’s feeling of invincibility. JMO
