We're talking two different things though. She may well have a ton of money as assests that she's able to spend as she sees fit (with possible tax consequences). But this is not the same as a weekly or monthly income. If you have a million dollars in the bank, no job or other regular money coming in, then you're in no danger of starving to death, but your income is still $0.

If there was life insurance she could have taken the proceeds and bought a single premium immediate annuity that provides monthly income for life. Charles was in that business. He could have had this all set up.

I cannot see her killing the kids. I have thought maybe at one time but now I am thinking they are just in hiding. She doesn't want to hand JJ over but maybe she will have to. Regarding Tylee, then she is 18 this year so will be able to make her own mind up presumably. I think they are in Kauai somewhere in hiding and we know Tylee would be happy with living there. Hopefully JJ is there too. Having heard the view from locals living there I don't think it would be difficult to keep them hidden away from LE and I think that they have been there since at least 24th Sept IMO.

I think that is possible to do that on a life insurance but it may be more difficult on a 401k type plan. He also changed his mind on the divorce so did he change his mind on the life insurance beneficiary also?

Well after 5 years that Texas requires a felon to have their gun rights restored. It's automatically restored in TX per my prior post. 2008

FOX 10 obtained an affidavit for the arrest warrant issued for Alex Cox from 2007 in Travis County, Texas. The court documents reveal Lori's brother Alex was accused of threatening to kill her ex-husband.

The second incident was at a child custody exchange in Texas, according to court documents. In 2007, Lori and her ex-husband Joseph Ryan were exchanging their daughter Tylee, when Alex followed Joseph into the parking lot wanting to talk.

There, he allegedly shocked him with a stun gun and threatened to kill him. Joseph was able to escape. That next year he pleads guilty to an aggravated assault charge in the second degree and served three months in jail.

They could have travelled on someone else's birth certificates. Or gone on a private boat or plane.

You own post doesn't say his rights were automatically restored. He would be allowed to have his gun in his home after five years. That's it. If you think he would have his full rights restored in five years, you are wrong.

This means the later of release from prison or parole. This is not true under federal law. I don't think JJ and Tylee could be with Melani because it's hard to envision how LE wouldn't check that.

Does anyone know why Chandler PD released the bodycam footage and the interview notes of Lori and Tylee? Is this usual? Does it mean case closed now? I mean the redactions certainly make me think there is protected content beyond identifying the minors, but I'm curious as to why it's out now.

A conspiracy theorist might say they released it so that Lori can refresh her memory as to what lies she told. Should she ever be requestioned she’ll want to be as consistent as possible. It also gives her time to try to dream up explanations for the inconsistent statements she’s already made.

A more likely explanation is Chandler PD is exhausted from working this case so hard (sarcasm font) and released it because they want it to just go away. I doubt whoever decided to release the footage bothered to watch it first. It’s hard to imagine they’d knowingly release something that makes them seem even more incompetent.

I thought that as well about Melani but noone else seemed to agree with me about that either. If they are alive and I hope they are, then I think she is just being pig headed about it. If they are dead then why is Chad accepting that?
