Perhaps the company has to do it if it is something to do with insurance policies they administered.

Nothing like that. It was in regard to an investment agreement between two LLC's, one owned by Charles.

The police officer made the decision to clean the pool of blood. What? Jmo.
I know. What in the world? Cop cleaning up blood at the crime scene? Are these cops for real?

How did we miss this one?
this video states that the group moved to Rexburg and that "Robertson later tracked them there and set up surveillance."
He says: "We saw them unloading a U-Haul that they rented in Arizona and took to Rexburg, and we saw where they were living, uh, but we didn't see the kids."

New details come to light about family members of missing Rexburg kids

Surely, we're not supposed to believe that he was hired by BB to follow the family to Rexburg BEFORE the shooting., are we? When did they see unloading a U-Haul? What would they have left in AZ and needed to move up there? Was that moving AC there? MB? Whenever that was, hopefully that can help establish more concretely, when exactly the children were hidden.
If Oct 2 was the shooting and Oct 16 was MB's text about moving to Boise. I can imagine that's when the PI group followed and surveilled. PI states the kids were missing at that point, so we've got to assume they were disappeared prior to October 16. We see the bikes loaded Oct 28th-snowed that day BTW. We don't know how much of the kids' personal stuff was loaded or when, just prior to Nov 27th Warrant Search.
BB hired the private investigator after he was shot at. The PI is following MB and her U-Haul who arrives in Rexburg around Oct 16, not the crew that got to Rexburg about Sept 1.

Agree with you 100%, kids are gone by Oct 16 otherwise the PI would have seen them. He was surveilling the townhouse next door to where the kids were and there were no kids. MOO

I’m starting to wonder about something. Lori thinks she’s the beneficiary of Charles’s life insurance. Whether she knew about the change before or after his death, I don’t know. But who is the beneficiary? Charles’ sister, Kay.

I am starting to think that Lori got rid of JJ to hurt Kay. Lori knows that Kay loves JJ.

Lori is likely VERY pissed that Kay is the beneficiary.
Kay said Lori didn't know that Charles changed the beneficiary.

Did MB make her court appearance yesterday? (or maybe it was Tuesday?)

Aside from seeing the truck Alex drove at the storage unit on Oct 2, is there an actual clear/close up image of Alex at the storage facility? From what I've seen, it's not that clear to definitively say yes that's Alex in the video.

There is a video of Alex visiting the storage locker in Idaho on Oct 2nd.

I'm sure I've missed some locations as there are so many places to keep straight in this multi-case case. This is like following 5 or 6 crime threads at once but all events intertwine with the two POI's in JJ and Tylee's disappearance. Any suggestions for what else should be mapped?
Excellent info. Suggestion re additional addresses, Alex's address where he died and he and Lori argued. Address who he worked for and where he dumped Hazmat. Re. Melani, address she trespassed at in American Fork.

Why is Tylee's Jeep in Arizona on October 2? I had a car when I was 17 in a town about the size of Rexburg and that car was my freedom...free to get a job, free to get to school on my schedule and not the bus, free to stay at school and do activities, freedom to get away from my parents if only for a few minutes to go to the store and get milk, free to drive to the nearest city and see concerts by bands I am now embarrassed to say I saw, etc. No way I would give up my car for even a day without a fight. AC has his own truck. LV has her own SUV.

Who other than Tylee would drive Tylee's Jeep back to Arizona? And for what reason? I think the kids are either gone by Oct 2, or Tylee is in that Jeep when it drives up to BB's house on Oct 2. MOO

Agreed. The .45 ACP is a big, heavy gun compared to a subcompact .380, 9mm or even .40 cal, and is difficult to conceal (assuming you're trying to conceal it, which is typical of those who carry for self defense). Anything smaller than .380 though, and you lose pretty significant stopping power. But you're right. It's a big gun.

This analysis makes sense, in a real life scenario. What is your opinion of the described duffel bag, with extra magazines and ammunition, with the gun case for the described .45 caliber pistol that was allegedly used in the shooting? Correct me if I am mistaken but, for those carrying a firearm, wouldn’t a holster for the gun also be found? For anyone (seriously) carrying a firearm on their person, openly or concealed, the firearm would have a holster. In a real life scenario, carrying around a duffel bag and/or a plastic gun case is rather cumbersome if defending your life and/or others is the primary reason you carry a firearm. So much doesn’t make sense.

Perhaps the company has to do it if it is something to do with insurance policies they administered.

Maybe Charles was looking to re-pay some of his trusted employees for the time when he wasn’t able to make payroll due to Lori’s taking the money from his business account.

So I have the XD 9mm, but I've shot the 45. Its not big at all, in fact I went with the XD because it fits better in my girly hands. While the 9mm is the usual thing you see conceal carry here, not unusual at all to find a 45. And the 'concealed' part is generally pretty obvious, I see people inside stores often with awkward gun bulges.
You're wrong. The XD 4 is 7.3 inches long, almost 6" tall, and weighs 30 oz. The Springfield 911 .380 is 5.5" long, 3.9" tall, and weighs 12.6 oz. I've fired both, and there's no comparison.

Try walking around with a 7 1/2 inch .45 in your waistband. That's a bulge. It may not be as big as some other manufacturer's .45 offerings (though it probably not the smallest), but either way, its a big gun. Very few people cc 45's compared to 9's. And .380's are favored by some (though not as many as 9's). Suggest you look it up.

They two kids were last seen Sept 23rd and the following day Lori went to her son’s school and unenrolled him , it appears that he was not seen that day or ever again. It’s not easy to hide a 17 yr old or a child with special needs. She tried to sell his service dog, this makes no sense as anyone here who knows about service dogs for those with disabilities and the challenges/cost in getting one and most importantly - the bond. Kylee without access to social media/friends-her brother. Hard to believe ( Jmo) that they are hidden, that would be the most wonderful thing if they are and are found safe.

Maybe it didn’t become Tylee’s Jeep until after Charles’ death.
Or maybe CV gave it to her when they all went to TX - Tylee had only just turned 16 and obtained her license - perhaps that is the car she talks about driving back to AZ? She had to drive it out if she wanted it to be hers?
It seems to me that jeep was more Charles’ extra car (or car in TX), and I imagine it was being stored at Alex’s house (or maybe Colby’s house) on the day of the shooting.

I think they purposely decided to use the Jeep for the BB shooting because maybe BB and any potential witnesses wouldn’t recognize it as one of Lori’s or Alex’s cars.
And they probably knew and liked that it was still registered to Charles. Is this the same car Alex stashed at Colby’s house in early October?

I imagine poor Tylee didn’t get much say in who used her car for what and when.
She didn’t know anyone in Rexberg to go have fun with anyway. I’m sad that she was already missing on her 17th birthday.

Yes on the holster. Typically outside the waist band (OWB) or inside the waistband (IWB). There are also small pocket holsters, but those are only practical (and even that's debatable) for small guns (small polymer .380, .22, or even a small snub nose revolver).

Not to be argumentative, but I dont need to look it up, I've got it in my gun safe. I'm not saying you're going to hide it in your clutch like a derringer, but its not that big of a problem to carry. I dont know many people who carry often that just shove things in their waistband, so perhaps that's where the misunderstanding is coming from. A holster with a tshirt flopped over it is considered concealed as well. The comment that started all this was along the lines of "Yikes a 45, isnt that something someone would only use if they thought they were going to encounter a bear". No, a 45 is not generally a large game weapon, and is quite commonly found in self defense situations. Are there smaller weapons, sure, but if we're talking was it too big for Alex to be using daily for his personal protection, certainly not.

That report is dated 2006.

Same guy went on to work for Phoenix PD until medical leave in 2013. Still was quite sometime before all this.

ETA I don't have links but it's on the internet's ;)

Not meaning to be argumentative either, but since you're arguing..

Probably 95 percent of all cc for men is waistband (which is, pretty much, t-shirt flopped over - where else but the waistband or pocket would a gun be that a t-shirt flopped over would hide?). The only two other types of concealed carry I even know of (again, for a guy) would be ankle or shoulder, and almost nobody does that. Perhaps I'm looking at it only from a guy's perspective, where I have no purse or hand bag in which to put the firearm. In a purse or hand bag, you're right, the size (and size difference) might not be as big a factor.

And I never suggested a .45 was too big for AC to carry, or that many people don't carry it. All I said was, its a big handgun.

The jeep that was described in the BB shooting article was a green Jeep Cherokee, but it was previously discussed several threads back that Tylee's jeep was a 4-door silver or grey Jeep Wrangler?

Where is the Wrangler if police have the Cherokee impounded as the vehicle from the shooting?
