This daughter also posted comments on several Facebook posts for RPD and Eastern Idaho News claiming this story was much ado about nothing and that we just didn't have the whole story, but later went back and deleted them all. Any life insurance payout is a bonus. I had a client stomped to death by her husband after a $7500 worker’s comp settlement payment. So dollar amount not necessarily indicative of anything except free money.
Cult profits bc a member is sucked in deeper. And will do more things for the cult. If the cult can get you to kill your kids, they REALLY have your mind warped. And will use that for whatever purpose they need to fill their needs. Sell more books. Tapes. Seminars. Sex. Money. Property. Murder. Drugs. You name it. There’s a cult for it.
And I bet LE considers other groups which use religion, doomsday, superior race or any other common ideology as their foundation, as cults, even though they may not rise to provable criminal conduct. Ponzi schemes come to mind. Some multi level marketing companies are another example. People get sucked up into the leader’s rhetoric, and they just go off the deep end. Entire countries have gotten sucked up into a politician’s line of control.
So, where’s the cut off? I don’t know. But I think the closer you get to crime to benefit the leaders, the more a group of people with the same ideologies rises to cult like status.

I'm a weirdo and I have been proven wrong here before, but if a Ponzi scheme or MLM were involved here I would not be surprised.

The ones posted here before had to be removed because the news had pulled the video from the reporters facebook and people were posting their own clips from private individuals with commentary/editing and were also sleuthing the unnamed woman making faces. IMOO, that link should be OK to post because it's MSM. The reporter actually re-aired the video they had pulled of the woman making faces to comment on it. The reporter says she learned it's "Chad Daybell's daughter". So that settles that. I think we can discuss it but we have to be careful not to sleuth or name the daughter because her name was not given in the report. Chad's kids are considered victims under the TOS as they have not been named as POI/suspects by LE and we can't sleuth them or accuse them of being part of the crime(s). At least that is how I understand the rules here. That said, those faces were strange. All the reporter really says is that Chad's daughter asked the news crew to stop filming and the reporter told her she was within her rights to do so. MOO.

This case makes me sick. Kids can be missing for months, while their Mother lies on a beach at a Hawaiian resort.

If she lost custody wouldn't she have to bring in the kids or get charge with aiding in a kidnapping. I am sure she would have to say where she saw them last? Then LE would just have to pull the thred and watch it unravel

Life insurance proceeds are generally paid to the beneficiary listed in the policy. Directly. It does not go through probate unless the estate is the beneficiary listed in the policy. A move discouraged by estate planning people. Heirs have no duty to pay a dead person’s debts from life insurance proceeds paid to them directly.

Even IF she knew 100% it was all made up, everyone was innocent and the children were safe with their mum (which we know they’re not) give an interview stating that, tell that to the reporter or contact a lawyer to give a statement.

Maybe it's kind of because I'm new, but it seems what we can and can't post is fair, but also kind of odd sometimes. But I get it.

So as a nervous laugher, the tongue thing, I totally get. I do weird thing under personal stress too. I work a high stress job and it doesn't bother me. I get plenty of free time. But deep personal stress makes my brain bug out. I'll laugh in the middle of fights, make weird comments, etc. For some people bad humor is a defense mechanism.

That's the thing I was trying to clear up, its NOT uncommon to have a .45 as self defense weapon. Its not as common as a 9mm, but by no means something that would be blatantly out of the ordinary. You dont shoot to wound, if its a true situation where you're in fear for your life or the lives of others you shoot to kill. Professionals know that.

I get that. We have a dark sense of humour here too. My asd son tends to say the wrong thing at the wrong time. We just laugh at it now. Sometimes laughter is the best medicine tbh. Based on what we have learned so far (like police statements after the shooting of CV), AC came over the night before because LV expected “trouble”. There is no publicly available information that suggests that firearms were in the home, prior to the arrival of AC.

You do mention another important point, regarding the time it takes to retrieve a weapon (in this case a firearm) from a gun case in a duffel bag. Especially considering that an emotional confrontation seems to have occurred in the home that morning that prompted TR to retrieve a metal bat she had in her possession and it became a weapon between CV and AC. MOO

I think this was a setup. She thought to cover herself by saying she expected trouble. AC was there with a gun and there was a metal bat. I honestly believe Charles was not leaving that house alive. I think they had JJ in the car so he wouldn't see it and talk to anyone about it. MOO

Yeah, I hadn't seen the entire clip before, only the screenshots of her sticking out her tongue (those posts were removed so I'm not going to screenshot here). She's also making funny/smiling type faces like you would make if trying to get a child to laugh or while taking silly selfies. It doesn't match with the seriousness of the events and makes it seem like she thinks this is all a big joke. Did she think the reporter's video couldn't be used if she made faces in the background? Or was she making faces for the benefit of someone she thought would be watching (such as Tammy's elementary students)? It's weird behavior but in the grand scheme of things that's one of the least weird things to happen in this case. LOL. MOO.

LEA vs citizen is different contexts. That said, any gun that sits in the bottom of your bag is worthless when you need it. So if you were traveling in transitional spaces, parking lots gas stations convenient stores, it’s in a bag in your car and some idiot accosts you you’re out of luck. A gun that is smaller easy to carry and conceal and that you’re comfortable with shooting is gonna be a whole lot better to save the day
