I seem to remember something saying that JJ was with Kay and her husband until he was about 18 months old... wouldn't that suggest that he said that prior to being adopted by CV & LV? So it likely would have been when he was NOT yet living in the same household as Tylee... at least that's what I was thinking.

I'm not clear on where on the timeline this "Miss Daybell" occurred, (and don't have time to follow this back tonight, it's bedtime)... and I'm a bit puzzled. If it was before Lori & Chad's supposed marriage, she wouldn't yet be Daybell... and if it was after, wouldn't she be Mrs, not Miss?!?

I totally want Nate to ask her this. Or Justin. That'd work, too.

SBM. I've seen both 9 months and 10 months (BBM):

"The Woodcocks said how worried they are about the two children. The couple is especially attached to Joshua who they cared for 9 months prior to allowing Kay Woodcock’s brother, Charles Vallow and his wife, Lori Vallow, to adopt him. Joshua is Kay Woodcock’s biological grandson, but Larry Woodcock is very close to Joshua or J.J., as he’s called."

J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan grandparents offer $20,000 for information on children

"The Woodcocks cared for J.J. for 10 months after he was born to Kay’s son and his girlfriend. The Woodcocks continued caring for him until Kay’s late brother, Charles Vallow, and Lori Vallow asked to adopt him."

Woodcocks seek temporary custody of grandson J.J. Vallow

I think the 1 month difference isn't really a discrepancy, however, because JJ was born premature and weighing only 2 lb 14 oz at birth. He could have stayed in the neonatal intensive care unit for a month before being released to the Woodcocks and then he was 10 months old when given to Lori and Charles.

JJ was born 25 May 2012 and Lori and Charles began the adoption process sometime in 2013 (I can't find my source link for this but the adoption was finalized by July 2014 from the timeline). I believe Lori and Charles would have taken over care of JJ in 2013 while going through adoption process. MOO.

It must be killing them inside to know that that little boy who they loved as their own and brought up for almost a year is missing. They obviously believed that CV could give him a good life, love him and do a good job of raising him otherwise they wouldn’t have let them adopt him. Poor CD is now dead and JJ missing. I cannot even begin to imagine what they’re going through. JMO

Justin has a new cover photo:

Justin Lum Fox 10 Phoenix
I feel it’s got personal for Justin Lum, he’s met KW and LW and is going to do everything he can to find those kids. It’s possibly gone beyond him just reporting on a story, it’s hurting him too. I respect that in him, he’s a great reporter. JMO

I find it rather amazing his first words were a complete sentence. Think what you (everyone reading) want, I'm saying it didn't happen that way. Jmo

Indeed, go to Gray Hughes latest podcast, or if you like, find the 911 call where the son called in regarding Alex lying in the bathroom, struggling to breath, lying in his own feces. Gray interrupts the call often but does narrate. So anyway, the son calls 911 very nonchalantly to report it. When asked to roll him onto his back, to begin CPR and check on him, the son says he can't, he suffers depression and anxiety, besides, Alex is too heavy and btw did we say there was poop? Doesn't know Alex's last name, just his first name and thinks it's his mom's boyfriend, not new husband. Suddenly, the mother / wife comes in the front door. Here is where the kick poodles come in. At least two lil kick doggies start yipping and yapping in excitement for her arrival. So yeah. That was his new environment. Pretty interesting 911 call.
That could mean that Alex's new wife wasn't home when he was poisoned (or poisoned himself), IF that's why he died.

Haha very good point. My youngest was slow talking, he was a real watcher of people...dubadub was his first word. We later realised it meant stupid :D He’s not really changed..still very judgemental

Maybe he waved bye and said TRs name? JMO

It could mean anything, the call leads us to believe that JL was either home at the time or came home and found AC. Then mum walked in. The LE will have a better picture of that as they’ll have investigated it. MOO

I still wonder what the tox screen will show. Maybe he wasn’t coping with recent events, especially now the kids were missing and TDs body exhumed. Perhaps he was self medicating? JMO

So there are in fact two Jeeps? The gray Wrangler went to Alex, and the green Cherokee was driven by Tylee?

I think my head is starting to hurt.

Yes, at this point, I am waiting for the book and/or movie to make sense of this whole story.

Wondering if the ending will be a "Thelma and Louise" with Chad and Lori off of a cliff in Kauai, or "Ruby Ridge", maybe just an ending like George Burns in "Going in Style", as he is going down the hallway in prison.

:) I understood. Sorry for the confusion. I meant are Lori and Chad still alive, because they are hiding in a hotel room for days now...(who brings them food btw)

OT: I noticed....Frown....hahahaha enjoy~!

Hi BOH. Good to see you here. Just a small correction. I believe Lori and Chad are hiding out in a condo they rented "long term". The condo is where the reporter was reporting from and she talked to neighbors who said they hadn't seen Lori and Chad for several days. I know it's confusing because they were also seen at 2 hotels. But they checked out of both of the hotels after only 1 night each. Then they were seen back at the condo.

Here's the condo where they are renting: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/4141-Queen-Emmas-Dr-APT-3-Princeville-HI-96722/89054865_zpid/

If they stocked the kitchen with food they could easily stay inside for weeks. But probably more likely they are coming and going from there mostly unnoticed by the neighbors. Many houses in that neighborhood are being used as vacation rentals. It would be easy for them to slip out unnoticed by people who are only there on holiday. I hope police or a PI are keeping tabs on Lori and Chad.

MOO.

Truth is often stranger than fiction...I’ve heard that so many times over the last year it’s something I go by now.

I suspect there’s a few movie writers following this story, it’s that bizarre you couldn’t make it up. MOO

Do you think they are going out without being seen or possibly having someone bring them supplies?

Is the tap water safe to drink where they are? They’ll still need fresh goods and CDs lost weight so I can’t see them living off takeaways. MOO

ETA Just checked and the tap water is of good quality.

It isn't as long as we resist calling their taste heavenly. Oops. MOO

Nothing like a recipe with two sticks of butter, a pound of cheese, and 16 oz of sour cream, cream cheese, with Cream of Chicken soup, heavy cream, with a few potatoes, topped with crushed corn flakes, mixed with a stick of melted butter.

No wonder they are called "Funeral Potatoes". And, growing up LDS, those are usually on the table for Sunday dinner at least twice a month. With leftovers on Monday.

I wonder if he had been receiving visions of her death for quite a few months it maybe didn't take that much of a push for him to go to that next stage. Who knows? Something in her hot milk at bedtime to knock her out and pillow over her face could have done it. I wonder if the other occupant in the house witnessed the alleged coughing fit?

Yep-Exactly how I think it went down that night!

Legit writers would hate this 🤬🤬🤬🤬 though. There's just not a lot of money in true crime.

"Okay Johnson, you pitched this true crime script based on real life events. I read it and it's pretty okay."

"Thanks Mr. Dudeincharge!"

"Great. Here's about 15k. I'm gonna find us a TV budget- level director now and before you know it my friend, you will be living the low level, work for scale in California life of your dreams!"

"Oh. 🤬🤬🤬🤬."

Probably. If you run across her, you can always ask if that's her hair or not. Jmo :)
Do you think she will have to remove them when she goes to jail? :)

Yes. This woman's body was found in a nature area. There just HAPPENS to be a Morman church right by it. She was very religious but I don't recall if she was Morman. Cause and manner of death is undetermined as far as I recall. Boy, that sound familiar doesn't it? Here is a link to an article that refers to a 300 page police report that I think we should all look at. She does have a thread here at WS but I got distracted away from it awhile ago. I'll look for a link.

Alyssa Romine update: Police report released in Gilbert woman's mysterious death
I have been reading for a while, but just joined. I am trying to understand rules, so so hopeful nothing is out of bounds here--- but this post hinted at some of my lurking questions "outside" the main characters, so definitely wanted to respond. I STILL hope some information arises around LV's sister, Melani's mother, who died young. And JR, 3rd husband of LV who died young. But I had researched LV's sister a little bit, and found that both she and Melani lived in Washington State. So did this Alyssa Romine in the above referred article. She had just returned to Gilbert to her family from Washington State where I believe her husband had lived. Not sure if there are cross referenced cities yet....but it is still curious. But YES, this Alyssa Romine was very strong evangelizing Mormon, as indicated in her posted obituary.

Those are great points you make about Idaho PD. I have to say, Gilbert seems to be great too as they are the ones who connected the dots (thanks to Brandon). I don’t know if Chandler or Rexburg would have had much success at all without them as the middle man. And now they’re all working together and with HI too.

Well she couldn't very well wear clip-ins in the hoosegow so I'd say extensions are a bad idea. She'd maybe get by with weaves but they'd hold up about six weeks at most.

IDK. I've heard some special needs children sometimes have delayed speech and then begin talking in full sentences. Every child is different, of course, in when/how they meet developmental milestones. But "Bye Bye Ty" is not too hard for a toddler to say. It might have been his first memorable words or the first words they understood from him, lol. Plus, we don't know who made the photo album scrapbook and who wrote that down as his first words. If Lori wrote that then I'm on board with saying "didn't happen" because Lori lies about everything. But if grandma Kay made the scrapbook as a gift for JJ then I'm more prone to believe that was the first phrase she heard him say. Also, I can't see Lori as being the type to make a scrapbook. MOO.
