I would assume maybe they're also on Lori's Facebook page? It's not like Lori has been updating it while she's on the lam... at least I hope she hasn't. Probably all the front and center posts are old.

The pic on his page was uploaded via mobile on just January 1st of this year.

ETA Does she even use SM, I'm not able to find a page.

Minor note, it was a 5k run she was training for (which is still something you wouldn't be doing with major health problems.

I don't know if the daily beast is an acceptable source but in 2 articles they stated CD "refused" an autopsy which is odd. I know if someone I loved died suddenly so young I would want to know what happened.

So *if* LE thought it was a suspicious death they'd have done it regardless, but if they *thought* all was okay, but still strange that a healthy, not-real-old person died out of the blue, then they ask the spouse or next of kin? Seems strange, but then I'd think saying "nah, no big deal, she's gone and why doesn't matter" would seem to raise a red flag. Of course I'm not sure how accurate I'd consider the Daily Beast and I don't remember this being reported elsewhere.

She seemed to be only talking about Chad and Lori, I thought, not the kids. And we don't know that she didn't tell LE. Quite a few people seem to have known where they were. She just figured out a way to make herself look prescient while she was doing it :p
It was on social media that Chad and Lori were in Hawaii. But we are not allowed to discuss that here.

Again, small town, likely not used to investigating major crimes, no obvious sings of foul play. Just assumed natural causes-and they didn't even or tried to guess which one.
Actually somewhat similar situation to Joseph Ryan. Guy was a tiny bit overweight and had elevated blood pressure and cholesterol for which he was taking meds.
Found dead, they just did an external examination and assumed he died due to atherosclerotic disease.

"CD "refused" an autopsy" if true, that, to me, would be a HUGE red flag.

I'm sure the rules differ by state. I have an experience with this. My 87 year old neighbor with terminal lung cancer died. Another neighbor was going to check on her but was afraid of what she'd find. So the other neighbor, my wife, and I went in with a spare key she had given to us and found her on the couch. We called 911 of course. Even though it was obvious she died of natural causes, since it was an "unattended death" they had to do an autopsy and a death investigation. The police seemed to try to get us to say that one of us was with her when she died to avoid the unnecessary hassle of an investigation. But there was no way any of us were going to tell even that little fib. So there was an autopsy and we were all questioned. It was pretty short and straightforward though and nothing came of it of course. They recognized what happened and were just going through the motions.

But, at least in Arizona, whether or not the death was "attended" is what mattered. Even if the rules are similar in Idaho, I would have no idea whether the story Chad told of him sleeping through her death qualifies as attended.

...Tylee, as an emancipated minor, might have other ideas. I would love love LOVE to see her a) alive and b) standing up for herself and testifying about her version of the past ~7 months.

Wouldnt she be an adult at this point?

I hope they've planted bugs. That's if they have been allowed to return to their residence.

Interesting. Refusing an autopsy? Years ago, my dad died suddenly at age 54. Because he wasn’t under a doctor’s care, an autopsy was conducted. We, the family, had no say in the matter (nor would we have objected). Years later, my mother died at her assisted living center. Because she had been under a doctor’s care for congestive heart failure/COPD, no autopsy was conducted. Both deaths occurred in Fairfax County, Virginia. I would’ve though that would the policy in most places. I guess not.

I don't know anyone who encrypts their phone. Unless you are doing something illegal, secret or confidential, what is the benefit?
Ha! I don't even know what 'encrypting your phone' means.

I did hesitate on referencing that site, I'm not sure if they're just dramatizing something like he actually declined one and that it might be costly to request one. I'd want to know if were my loved one but everyone grieves different? Can't see marrying two weeks later either though

What do you suppose the plan is? Providing they aren't ever charged with anything... all the people I know who published through Chad before want nothing to do with him anymore, and this media attention has thrown negative light on him in the LDS community. His publishing days are pretty much done. Are they going to live off their nest egg? or is Lori going to support them with her hair styling? They have to be hearing slamming doors at this point.
If I was them I'd do a paid exclusive which would hold the other press at bay. As they are money grabbing grifters anyway, that's what I would also expect them to do. MOO

Getting married to a hot blond two weeks after your wife inexplicably dies in her sleep is enough of a red flag imo.

Waiting for the autopsy results would have delayed the Life insurance payout, the wedding and the honeymoon probably.
