The Idaho State Police is seeking help from the public in locating a missing and endangered woman.

Linda Zweigart, 67, is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs 182 pounds; she has brown hair and brown eyes.

Zweigart was last seen at 8:30 a.m. on July 30 in the Mink Creek Road area of Pocatello. She was driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Tucson with Idaho plate 10EDT.

According to an ISP statement released on Friday afternoon, Zweigart is without her needed medication and oxygen.

Anyone with information about this case should contact the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office at (208) 236-7111.

POCATELLO — On Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 3:32 P.M., Idaho State Police investigated a fatality vehicle collision on S. Fork Mink Creek Road in Bannock County.

Preliminary reports indicate a 2017 Hyundai Tuscan, driven by Endangered Missing Person Linda Zweigart, 67, of Pocatello, traveled off the left shoulder, impacted a tree, and came to rest down the embankment.

She was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed from her injuries on scene.

After waiting for a miracle ever since Linda Zweigart had disappeared on Wednesday morning, her family took matters into their own hands by launching an all-out search where she was last seen south of Pocatello.

Off-duty Bannock County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Nick Zweigart had the grim task of discovering the wreckage of his 67-year-old mother’s 2017 Hyundai Tucson on Saturday, which had careened down a steep embankment and was hidden in thick brush, barely visible from South Mink Creek Road. Linda died in the crash.
