Ada county warrants search, FYI.
Actually, Aidan is the baby and the "ex-boyfriend" is assumed to be Aidan's father. If Ehrlich IS the "ex-boyfriend" it seems unlikely Charles Manwill wouldn't fight really hard against visitation with him present. The older child is from a different father (Ames). Basically, I'm looking for evidence that proves Daniel and Melissa are not brother/sister. If Ehrlich is the violent ex-boyfriend, than EVERYONE dropped the ball and fed Robert to the wolves considering the affadavit for custody by Charles Manwill. Read the article and see what you think.

Interesting article:
Robert lived primarily with his father, Charles, in New Plymouth - an arrangement crafted after Jenkins was laid up in the hospital for a few weeks before Aidan was born and she had no one to take care of Robert.
An affidavit that Charles Manwill filed at the time to get temporary custody of Robert states that Jenkins told him she "was being physically abused by her ex-boyfriend (the apparent father of the unborn child)."
He added that the hospital "has kept the admission of mother Melissa, and her room number, secret because mother Melissa is concerned that the ex-boyfriend may storm into the hospital and mother Melissa's room and cause extreme trouble."
Ehrlick Jr. also has been barred from being around Jenkins' daughter, not from anything he did, but because the father, Raymond Ames, said he didn't like him or want him around the toddler. The girl lived with Melissa Jenkins until Ames got custody last year.

I hate to sound obsessed, but I'm not convinced Ehrlick, Jr is not Melissa's brother. I found it interesting that the court papers referred to an "ex-boyfriend" that even Jenkins had expressed fear of. Would she reconcile with him? Most reports have identified Ehrlick as the father of the abused child, but this account makes it seem as if Ehrlick is not that person. Why would Charles Manwill not vehemently fight the visitation if Ehrlick was the violent "ex-boyfriend"?
Heck, I just realized the article identifies the father and it's a different child. Sheesh...ok, he's not her brother. I did e-mail the reporter to confirm how he got the brother info. I'll let ya know if I get a reply. In the meantime, I'm resting my frazzled brain.
My brain was frazzled too Underdog and I also emailed the reporter just to get some clarification. :blowkiss:
This is for Robert.
My grandson, just one grade behind Robert, and could pass for Robert's younger brother.
Anyway, he loves these. He makes me play them over and over.
I have a feeling Robert would like them as much. Try to look past the commercial part of the first one.
Dear Robert, run fast, run strong, and fly high!
Warning, make sure your volume is on low if someone is sleeping.

I find them oddly soothing at a time like this.

It was not an accident. It is a murder investigation. There was no abduction. What else does LE have to say?
If he wasn't abducted, he didn't leave the house alive and someone in that house killed him. Who was there? BF. And later, Mom.
End of stroy.
