Since he brought him over, I would assume he meant the vehicle. As in down the back of the vehicle (back seat, back floorboard, back luggage area).
To be fair, if she had warrants out for her and they came to see why someone was staying there...they didn't have much choice. She is right...it is a homicide investigation and they would be remiss not to run a check on a person who felt the need to "stand guard of the teddy bears". It is very unusual and they were only doing their jobs. I have seen her name a couple of times in this case and while she may be totally innocent, caring, and a lovely person...she still has inserted herself into a murder case.
Question:::: Ehrlick Jr. told him that Robert was down in the back??
Down in the back of what? The apartment complex? Or what is he talking about?
Doesn't know if that's when he spotted IT or spotted IT before...
What is the IT he is referring to?
I honestly don't see why they ran a check on her, if all she was doing was trying to protect the stuffed animals, so they didn't get ruined by the rain. But I guess it's a good thing, since she was also collecting money, on Robert's behalf. Which now causes me to second guess if that money would've really gone to help with Robert's burial expenses; and any leftover money going to the Ronald McDonald House, in Robert's name.
What's weird is that the case for which there was a warrant out for her, had been deactivated (or inactivated) and sealed. Weird. It was just re-opened yesterday. *Why* a case would be sealed IF there were an outstanding warrant out for the person, is beyond me. Seems it would help to leave the case open, so that others might help to lead the police to the person for whom there is an outstanding warrant.
Anyway, it does go to show that just as you said, the possibility is very real that sometimes people do step in and try to take advangtage of people who find themselves in these horribly unfortunate circumstances.
I hope Gina Guzzetta-Dalrymple is the 'real deal', and her intentions are nothing but honorable with regards to Robert, and the Manwill family. The family surely doesn't need to be victimized any further.

Hmmm...maybe I read it wrong because I assumed he went to his father's place to leave money for bills. Why would the father go to the apartment to drop off money for bills?HUH? who brought who over?
I thought he said he dropped by to drop off some money for bills?
Didnt say anything about him bringing anyone over ...
Or am I reading the wrong article?
I'm tired I should go to bed. I have to work in the morning..
Nite all.:waitasec:
When I read that, my perception (or assumption) was that Ehrlick Sr. meant in the back of the apartment complex.
I've noticed a common theme with the reporters on this case ... they don't seem to ask the follow-up questions that many of us would probably be asking. Either that, or it's possible they are not printing some of those answers and are turning them over to police.
After I originally read the article, I found myself questioning it, just as you did.

Darn it. I come on here this morning to find 4 or so more pages than was there yesterday and I was hoping they arrested someone or two. Does anyone know, was Melissa at the vigil?? And please tell me, someone local, that they still do not have that baby!!! I'm even concerned about the dog being in their care.
His father (Sr) brought money to him (Jr) for bills because he was a "stay at home dad" aka a loser who either couldn't hold a job because of his anger issues or couldn't get a job because of his history.
While the stereotype may apply in this case, it's worth noting that our family law is corrupted by that assumption. It is that very "false premise" that creates a bias toward the mother. In this case, Melissa Jenkins. If a woman chooses to be a stay at home mother and get assistance from the family, is she automatically considered a "loser"? I think it's important to do away with the stereotypes and conservative assumptions if we are going to make progress in protecting the children. IMO.
I agree SS & Underdog. I have at least 3 stay at home dads in my extended family network and another 2 dads that have full legal custody of their children. They all do excellent jobs of taking care of their kids. None have been arrested. It is very important that at least one parent stay with a young child, IF POSSIBLE, during the first 3 years - I think. But I don't think it matters which parent as long as they are attentive and loving.
MOO,

I don't post much but read constantly here at WS. Robert's loss is breaking my heart. I just wondered if any of the locals have heard anything more. It seems the media has nothing new to share. Is the boyfriend still hospitalized? I'm not sleeping well waiting for justice for little Robert.
