Since he brought him over, I would assume he meant the vehicle. As in down the back of the vehicle (back seat, back floorboard, back luggage area).

To be fair, if she had warrants out for her and they came to see why someone was staying there...they didn't have much choice. She is right...it is a homicide investigation and they would be remiss not to run a check on a person who felt the need to "stand guard of the teddy bears". It is very unusual and they were only doing their jobs. I have seen her name a couple of times in this case and while she may be totally innocent, caring, and a lovely person...she still has inserted herself into a murder case.

I honestly don't see why they ran a check on her, if all she was doing was trying to protect the stuffed animals, so they didn't get ruined by the rain. But I guess it's a good thing, since she was also collecting money, on Robert's behalf. Which now causes me to second guess if that money would've really gone to help with Robert's burial expenses; and any leftover money going to the Ronald McDonald House, in Robert's name.

What's weird is that the case for which there was a warrant out for her, had been deactivated (or inactivated) and sealed. Weird. It was just re-opened yesterday. *Why* a case would be sealed IF there were an outstanding warrant out for the person, is beyond me. Seems it would help to leave the case open, so that others might help to lead the police to the person for whom there is an outstanding warrant.

Anyway, it does go to show that just as you said, the possibility is very real that sometimes people do step in and try to take advangtage of people who find themselves in these horribly unfortunate circumstances.

I hope Gina Guzzetta-Dalrymple is the 'real deal', and her intentions are nothing but honorable with regards to Robert, and the Manwill family. The family surely doesn't need to be victimized any further.

Question:::: Ehrlick Jr. told him that Robert was down in the back??

Down in the back of what? The apartment complex? Or what is he talking about?

Doesn't know if that's when he spotted IT or spotted IT before...

What is the IT he is referring to?

When I read that, my perception (or assumption) was that Ehrlick Sr. meant in the back of the apartment complex.

I've noticed a common theme with the reporters on this case ... they don't seem to ask the follow-up questions that many of us would probably be asking. Either that, or it's possible they are not printing some of those answers and are turning them over to police.

After I originally read the article, I found myself questioning it, just as you did.

The reason it says that is because she was a no show at court. So there is no hearings scheduled ..so they close it ...until they pick up that person...then they open it back up.
So if someone jumps their bond same thing happens. The case goes inactive until they find them again.....make sense? It took me a little bit to figure it out...but that's why. They can't schedule a court date without a person on a failure to appear or contempt of court...

HUH? who brought who over?
I thought he said he dropped by to drop off some money for bills?
Didnt say anything about him bringing anyone over ...
Or am I reading the wrong article?
I'm tired I should go to bed. I have to work in the morning..

One quick thing before I go to bed. I just looked at these pictures of the lightening storm yesterday that I found a little spooky...
It seems at some point that the lightening strikes could very easily be following that canal that Robert was found in. and it's a long stretch of lightening strikes...miles worth. There's a few in there that are just bizarre. Unless of course they are taken from the west facing east. Then no...but some of them look like they were taken from the east looking west. Downtown sits in hole..and the "bench" they call it is up on the ridge. Doesn't look like the foothills in east boise..but maybe they are. Take a look....

Number 10, looks like there's an eyeball looking at up right in the middle...clouds I'm sure...
and Number 14...I wonder how many miles inbetween those 2 sets of lightening ...maybe 12-14?
I thought it was strange. The pictures are cool.

Hmmm...maybe I read it wrong because I assumed he went to his father's place to leave money for bills. Why would the father go to the apartment to drop off money for bills?

I have found now and in the past there are a lot of errors that should have been caught in proof reading. I think I read somewhere else that Sr was told Robert was in the back of the apartments where the playground and pool area are. In that story just posted it looked like it was worded in a strange way that didnt make much sense.

His father (Sr) brought money to him (Jr) for bills because he was a "stay at home dad" aka a loser who either couldn't hold a job because of his anger issues or couldn't get a job because of his history.

Darn it. I come on here this morning to find 4 or so more pages than was there yesterday and I was hoping they arrested someone or two. Does anyone know, was Melissa at the vigil?? And please tell me, someone local, that they still do not have that baby!!! I'm even concerned about the dog being in their care.

While the stereotype may apply in this case, it's worth noting that our family law is corrupted by that assumption. It is that very "false premise" that creates a bias toward the mother. In this case, Melissa Jenkins. If a woman chooses to be a stay at home mother and get assistance from the family, is she automatically considered a "loser"? I think it's important to do away with the stereotypes and conservative assumptions if we are going to make progress in protecting the children. IMO.

OK, I will give you that one, Underdog. It is unfair in the overall picture to say a man can't stay home while the woman works. I know a few stay at home dads and they do an excellent job with their children while their wives bring home more than enough to take care of the family.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear either one of those conditions applied to this situation.

I agree SS & Underdog. I have at least 3 stay at home dads in my extended family network and another 2 dads that have full legal custody of their children. They all do excellent jobs of taking care of their kids. None have been arrested. It is very important that at least one parent stay with a young child, IF POSSIBLE, during the first 3 years - I think. But I don't think it matters which parent as long as they are attentive and loving.

MOO,

Salem

I don't post much but read constantly here at WS. Robert's loss is breaking my heart. I just wondered if any of the locals have heard anything more. It seems the media has nothing new to share. Is the boyfriend still hospitalized? I'm not sleeping well waiting for justice for little Robert.

You are very correct in what you say. I shouldn't have stereo typed that way. I know that there are times when a family decides its financially better for the dad to stay home while the mom works. Generally meaning she has a higher paying job. In this case she cleaned offices so its not like it was a high paid job. Also if they only had the baby back in custody for 6 weeks then chances are he didnt just recently decide he would quit his job and stay at home with the baby. They would have probably financially qualified for child care help.

Now with all those factors in place I could have worded things differently because it is true not all stay at home parents should be in the same category as these two. If anyone was offended by what I said I apologize because when I said that I was NOT speaking in general. I was just speaking about how I felt about him.

Being a single mom I actually find myself more attracted to single full time dads. I think it shows a lot of things about them as a person. Two of the greatest guys I know are both single full time dads. Both are very very educated with great backgrounds. I know several other men who are full time dads who raised children since babies.

While I normally would agree that it is best at least one parent stay with a child in the first years I dont think its always the case. I believe that in homes like this one a child would probably get a lot more love and affection from the staff in childcare centers. Most people that work in those settings love children and want to be around them. I cant imagine this baby was getting the love and stimulation he really needed from his parents. It seems I read somewhere that after the skull fracture he has suffered some mental issues. With the parents lack of patients and the extra patients a child with disabilities needs I could never think these parents were the best for any child.

I havent heard anything new in the last few days. Its been reported that the bf is out of the hospital. I have not heard anything that indicates he was at the vigil last night. I will be at the races tonight. We normally go back to the pit where the cars are, but I somehow doubt he will be there. I am not sure if we are attending the services tomorrow or not.

Thanks Idaho Native. I know patience is necessary but the silence is deafening.

I was thinking it was when the Dad of the boyfriend had come over to the apartment to give him money for bills.

The boyfriend, imo, told his Dad that Robert was down in the back - I take it that Robert was down in the back of the apartments at the playground area. The Dad saw a boy that looked like Robert wearing a white t-shirt.

This is JMO, but this is my take on the statement the Dad made.

ETA: I stopped and read your post and responded before I got to this last page. I see others have commented on it.
