IDIs On This Forum?

Ames, sometimes I feel like I am :banghead: on this thread. And you?

My DH always says to me (when I try and try something to no avail- don't you know what the definition of insanity is? Repeating the same thing over and over but expecting different results!

Yes, I feel the same way. I have said it before...and I will say it again....you can show a tape to all of the IDI's , of one or both Ramsey's confessing to, or actually committing the murder of their daughter, and the IDI's would say that the tape was either doctored, to make it LOOK like a confession or the actual murder, but it really wasn't. Or that the Ramsey's were so distraught over their daughter's murder, that when they confessed...they were taking so many meds...that they were just confused.

Residue from latex gloves would be seen on testing. Why wipe the flashlight and batteries if wearing gloves? Latex gloves don't automatically point to an intruder anyway. PT used them when she dyed her (and JBR's) hair. I believe they were seen by LE when they took the crime scene photos.
And we need to move past the bowl and fingerprints. PRs prints, guilty or innocent, would be expected to be on the bowl. It belonged to her. It's the contents of the bowl matching the contents of the JBR's intestines that raises suspicion.

Technically the "intruder" wouldn't have to wipe off the flashlight, if he was wearing gloves....what would be the point in it. The only way that the flashlight would have had to have been wiped clean....is if it was all part of the staging. It was MEANT to APPEAR as though the INTRUDER wiped it clean. HERES the big BUGABOO with that though.....the batteries were also wiped clean. WHY? If it had of been an actual intruder, that had used the flashlight, he wouldn't have touched the batteries in the first place...they are INSIDE of the flashlight. The only part of the flashlight that an intruder would have touched, if there WAS an intruder....is the outside of the flashlight. SO WHY would the batteries need to be wiped clean. BECAUSE...IMO...the ONLY prints on that flashlight OR the batteries...were that of one or both of the Ramseys. SO...they wiped it clean of THEIR prints...(and for some reason had a brain fart and wiped off the batteries too....duhhhhh.....they were distancing themselves as far away from that flashlight as possible)...and left it out on purpose, so that the police would find it, test it...and find that it and the batteries were wiped clean....BY THE INTRUDER.

RDI is in denial of the initial appearance of the crime. Its like there was this fatal hit and run car accident and the investigators start suspecting area bicyclists -- no offense, but the R's just can't be taken seriously as suspects in a child murder this brutal. Oops, I forgot, the brutality isn't real. Sorry.

Read my post #982...and tell me what you think of the batteries being wiped clean by the intruder. And WHY an intruder wearing gloves would have to wipe a flashlight and BATTERIES clean in the first place.

Who says an intruder had to wipe any flashlight, or even picked one up. Who says an intruder wiped batteries either? All you know is a flashlight and batteries were wiped clean. I rather doubt an intruder would use a flashlight at all.

Posters...help me out here....who was the woman that killed her three sons, by taking them outside and bashing each one of them in the head, with a rock??? The youngest one, the baby...she killed with a rock, while he slept in his crib. OH but....she was a good person....she was a Christian JUST LIKE the Ramseys...so SHE could have never been taken seriously as a suspect in not ONE, but THREE childrens murders this brutal. And today...she sits behind bars, because she confessed. HOTYH...it DOES happen.

Well then...WHO wiped it clean then? The toothfairy? The Ramsey's say that THEY didn't....they even denied owning that flashlight...at FIRST.

An intruder that didn't use a flashlight at ALL...in that pitch dark Ramsey home? You have got to be kidding me. Did he have night vision goggles? OH yeah...I forgot....the Ramsey's owned a set of those too.

Sorry, but the filicides you use as examples usually have big socioeconomic and psychologic issues to go along with them.

R's aren't having socioeconomic or psychological issues, either before or after.

Find a filicide where the parent wrote of beheading their child. Good luck.

But...they didn't actually behead her, now did they?? You are wrong about that lady having some big psychologic issue...she just plain SNAPPED one day. Just like Patsy Ramsey did....no difference.

Gosh Ames, the IDI's just don't/won't listen.
You asked a perfectly good question........
Why would an intruder, wearing gloves, wipe down the flashlight and batteries?

Answer--An intruder wouldn't! But someone who lived in the house would! ;)

No, they will not take the Ramsey's did it...for an answer. They refuse to believe that it is so. As I have said before...the wiping clean of the BATTERIES is what makes NO sense at all, if an intruder had of really done it. The batteries are inside of the flashlight....untouched by the intruder...so why would he wipe them clean?? Not to mention...wipe them AND the flashlight clean, when he was wearing gloves. It was all part of the staging by the Ramseys. imo

Just plain snapped is a catch-all excuse for no evidence of mental illness. Just like 'degraded DNA from a factory worker' is a catch-all excuse for DNA not yet matched to anybody. Or my favorite, disguised handwriting is a catch-all excuse for handwriting not completely matching PR's.

RDI uses lots of catch-all excuses.

Say what you will HOTYH but any woman who parades her 6 yr old daughter around painted up like a 2 dollar hooker is mentally sick and maybe ---just maybe--- one who could snap.

How do you know it was pitch dark?

I am obviously wasting my typing skills on replying to your posts..not to mention my time. I do like you though...so I will respond...yet again.
The lady that bashed in her three sons heads....snapped...therefore...she had no evidence of mental illness. JUST LIKE PATSY. Degraded DNA is OLD DNA...meaning not new....it wasn't deposited that night. It was deposited at some other time in the past. WAY, WAY too many experts agreed that Patsy DID write that RN. I tend to lean toward their opinions..since THEY are the experts afterall.

OH YEAH...you haven't answered my question as to WHY an intruder would wipe down the batteries that were INSIDE of a flashlight..when his prints wouldn't have been on them in the first place?

How do you know it was pitch dark?

That's what the neighbors say...and they were there and could see that it was pitch dark. They also said that usually the Ramsey's left a light on in the Sunroom, and one on outside....but not that night. HMMMM...pretty doggone suspicious if you ask me.

So, you think that the intruder was cruising around the Ramsey's house, turning on lights so that he could see?? Yeah, now THAT would have been REAL smart.

Heck yeah...she could have snapped...and she DID snap...IMO

Maybe just another beauty pageant mom snap, huh? Pageant mom syndrome?

Anyway, the flashlight or battery wipe-down or whatever, if done by the intruders, could remove all fingerprints that may have been on them. Maybe not intruders fingerprints but whoever owned the flashlight previously. Didn't the R's say it wasn't theirs?

Do you have a source on the pitch dark thing?

Pageant mom syndrome....LOL

My questions about the flashlight wipedown was this.....WHY would an intruder, who is wearing gloves (remember, this is the same dude that got into the cupboard, found a bowl, then searched until he found a can of pineapple, because he knew that this was JB's favorite, and then he searched and found a can opener, and a spoon....all while leaving NO fingerprints...so he had to have been wearing gloves), wipe down a flashlight and batteries, what would have been the purpose...IF he had of been wearing gloves?? And WHY would an intruder wipe down the batteries, anyway? The batteries are on the INSIDE of the flashlight, why would he have had to clean them?? The Rams at FIRST said that it LOOKED like theirs but that theirs was a different color, and then the interviewer told them that the flashlight had been processed with chemicals to test for prints, and that is why it was a different color. So, then Patsy admits that it is theirs.....its in her interview.

I will see if I can find the link to the pitch dark thing..I am also going to post a link to a page over at FFJ, that has overhead pictures of the Ramsey home, from Google Earth. I had no idea that their neighbor's houses were so close to them. I was shocked!!

Meanwhile, posters...while I search for the link that said that the Ramsey's home was pitch dark that night....and that usually they left a light on in their sunroom...and one on outside....if any of you could help me search..it would be greatly appreciated.

HOTYH....I did find this link, there are more though...

1999 February 18 - Lawrence Schillers book "Perfect Murder, Perfect Town

Page 58:

"At about midnight, Scott Gibbons, a neighbor, looked out his kitchen window toward the Ramseys' house and saw a light on in the kitchen area. Sometime later, Adam Fermeire, another neighbor, who was up watching TV, said he didn't notice anything strange through the window that faced the Ramseys' house."

"Diane Brumfitt, another neighbor, told Detective Barry Hartkopp on December 31 that on Christmas night she did not see a light on at the southeast corner of the Ramseys' house, though there had been a safety light in that spot for years. She remembered thinking that it was unusual. Melody Stanton, up the street at 738, told the police on January 3 that she was certain she had heard a child's scream at about 2:00 A.M. on the night of the murder. Her bedroom window, which looks toward the Ramsey house from across the street, had been partly open. When questioned by the police, Stanton said that there had been only one scream but it was horrifying. If it came from the child, she assumed the scream had awakened her parents."

04-18-2000 Steve Thomas, "JonBenet, Inside the Ramsey Murder Investigation"

Page 45:

"While the house search went on, other cops fanned out to canvass the neighborhood and conduct more interviews. A resident directly to the south reported that the light was off in the southeast corner sunroom of the Ramsey home and thought that was odd because it was the only time she was aware in th3e past few years that it did not burn all night. A neighbor to the north would say that the butler kitchen lights were on around midnight and considered that unsual since it was the first time he had noticed that light being on in the Ramsey home. A third neighbor, to the west, said that her dogs, who barked at anyone walking in the alley, just as they did when the police officer came to question her, made no noise Wednesday night."
