Now- if you are the INNOCENT parent of a kidnapped/murdered child who was both kidnapped and murdered in your home with a sibling asleep down the hall, why would you object to police questioning him with or without you there? You have nothing to hide, and it just may help to find out if he heard or saw anything.
Oh wait...that's INNOCENT parents. Not the Rs.

LOL, RIGHT!!! If the parents were innocent, they would have been more than happy for the police to question the surviving child that was sleeping on the same floor as the child that had been kidnapped and murdered. I mean..geesh...maybe, JUST MAYBE, he might had actually heard or saw something. (Which in the Ramsey's case, is precisely the reason that they did NOT want him questioned).

True! And remember, in the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping, it was her sister who eventually cracked the case, leading to her recovery. But that was an INNOCENT family. Imagine if the Smarts refused to allow their younger daughter to talk to police? They would have never saved that poor child.

You are right...any INNOCENT parent would WANT the police to question their other children. Apparently the Ramsey's must not have wanted to find out any info. that Burke may have had. They must not have cared if that "INTRUDER" was caught, or not. And the only reason for that would be...because there wasn't one.

The Ramsey's didn't even question Burke. :(

I know, how many of us wouldn't be OVER questioning the child,at the very LEAST..'what did you hear, did you hear anything last night? are you sure?? did you see anything? think, think !! is there anything you might have forgotten???? is there anything you thought was just a dream???? did JB sleep with you any at all last night??? did she come in your room at any time? did you see her at all once you went to bed??did you hear her get up to go to the bathroom, downstairs,or anywhere????!!!!'
..and so on....

Yes, I know...and I find that quite odd....I mean, IF they were innocent. If it had of been a real kidnapping, they would have been asking him a gazillion questions, while they were hurrying him out of his bedroom (the intruder could be lurking around under his bed or in his closet...and that's how they were going to be "MONITORING" the Ramseys'.) So, if it had of been a real kidnapping, not only would THEY have questioned them, they would have been more than happy to let the police question him, too. ANYTHING to find out answers and to possibly get their little girl back.

At the very least they could have woken Burke up. Guess they wanted Burke "well rested".

Yep...his precious sleep was more important than waking him up to ask him if he had heard noises. I cannot believe that John went in Burke's room to "check on him". "Yep..he looks fine to me. AWWWW...he is sleeping like an angel, I don't think that I should wake him up just to tell him that his little sister has been kidnapped, or to ask him if he had heard anything. He may have heard JonBenét scream or something else of importance, but....I don't want to wake him up. He had a big day yesterday, and he needs his rest." Makes absolutely NO FREAKIN' sense to me, at ALL!!!!! I mean....IF it had of been a REAL INTRUDER. But, since we know who the killer/killers are...then it does make sense.

Hey, Ames,
I guess we'll just never understand the Ramsey's. Apparantly sleep is very important to them.

HI THERE!!!

LOL...yes apparently it was. Everybody needed to be "well rested"....even Burke. Poor little guy, he was probably just "wiped out"...from all of those presents that he unwrapped, and all of that Christmas partying. And they did have that trip that they were going on the next day, afterall.....he just needed his rest. No NEED to wake him up and bother him just to ask him pesky questions about his sisters disappearance, or even to get him the heck out of his bedroom...(if it had of been a real intruder, and the RN said that they would be monitoring them, then how did the Rams know that the intruder was NOT still in the house? Possibly in Burke's room? In his closet? Under his bed?). Major red flag in my book...

You look at the Ramseys behavior and then look at the Van Damm's behavior.

Brenda Van Damm was on the phone with 911 and her two boys were heard talking in the background. Brenda was questioning the boys as she talked to the 911 operator. Her husband (forget his name) is out canvassing the neighborhood.

The Ramseys did the exact opposite.

Yes, they did the exact opposite....they didn't act like parents that had no clue what had happened to their child. If they were innocent, they would have done EXACTLY what Brenda Van Damm did...and what any other normal, innocent parent would have done.

Considering all the human handling material and underwear must get bf being completed and packaged,I would think it odd if there wasn't any DNA found on some.

Those are known as "chain-of-custody" issues.

I meant to ask you, what did Robert Ressler say about the 'fat cat' line in the RN? thx.

This:

"60's-era expressions like 'fat cat,' French-influenced vocabulary such as 'attache' and the demand for $118,000 might also point to someone like Patsy, who grew up in the 60's, studied French and was familiar with her husband's finances. Someone else with that knowledge probably would have demanded more."

Also notice that JonBenét's name has a French spelling, and that they had TWO dogs, Jacque and Jacque #2...also French names. And who uses the word attaché, anyway. Why couldn't the author of the note just write BRIEFCASE? But, I immediately noticed that attaché, and JonBenét BOTH have the french é. I can think of nobody else but Patsy, that would have written that RN, the use of the word attaché, is to close to JonBenét to be ignored....well THAT and a ton of other things in the RN that point to PR as the author.

You know what I noticed the other night? I was watching King Of The Hill, and one of the characters asked Hank Hill to "bring this wedding invitation to Dale's father."

"Bring it to him", not "take it to him". Just like in the RN.

The character on the show who said this is a well-mannered, successful, sociable middle-aged woman from the South (Texas.) I couldn't help but see the similarities between her and Patsy. I realize it's just a cartoon, but the wording...who uses "bring" like that? Apparently the RN author and whoever writes Nancy Hicks Gribble's dialogue for the show.

I love King of the Hill!!
So are you saying whoever writes Nancy's dialogue is the real killer?:D

It's a really good show. I like all of Mike Judge's shows, including Beavis and Butthead...but Daria was the best. I'm so sorry they ended that show. And my husband and I quote Office Space to each other frequently.

Yes! Or whoever writes what Nancy says knows how a well-mannered, successful, sociable, middle-aged Southern woman speaks, and thinks that they might say "bring" instead of "take" or "give".

It was really weird to realize I'd just heard the word "bring" used in the same manner as it had been in the RN, and by a woman (albeit a cartoon) that has such similarities to Patsy. I never hear that word used that way.
