Yes. I think Smollett is absolutely fascinating. He is so far into his denial and fantasy. Doesn't he have anyone close to him, willing to tell him it is time to just chill? The fact that he continues to double down, and give interviews, is really pathological. I don't even know what his diagnosis would be...would have to dig into the DSM-5, deep dive for JS. Delusional.

Interesting. I looked up on Search, "Smollett Diagnosis". It is absolutely amazing how many people have done actual papers on JS. And numerous articles.

Why would someone fake a hate crime?

Some would fake a hate crime because they want to increase their celebrity and their paycheck. More often they just want attention.
