You read my thoughts exactly. That would be very weak evidence in a trial wouldn't it. Just because the guy left town doesn't make him guilty of murder. I hope there is something that can link him to the crime scene. I am no lawyer, but you need more evidence than that to convict somebody of murder don't you?:waitasec:
I'll be honest. The silence leads me to believe the prosecution does not have as solid of a case as they are trying to portray. (Shall I bring up when the Cubs were 6 outs away from going to the World Series... I almost got that kind of nagging feeling with this case. ) I just can not believe it is solely not having the official id on Toni's remains as a basis for the silence. Can anyone recall a case where LE did not at least say it could be several weeks before official id? The anxiety for me in this case is as bad as a nail biter ball game. Sorry if that is a poor analogy.... I don't mean to be disrespectful but LE's actions here seem so out of the ordinary to me.
