A lawyer for a man injured in the Aurora warehouse shooting last month which left five people dead revealed the gunman's final words to his client were: 'You're not dead?.'
Timothy Williams was shot three times when Gary Martin, 45, opened fire at a warehouse the Henry Pratt Co. industrial valve manufacturing plant in Illinois.
Williams is now suing Illinois State Police, claiming authorities 'bungled' their responsibility to ensure the shooter turned in the gun he used in the attack .
He is seeking $2 million in damages, claiming pain, suffering, disability and lost earnings.
