I still, to this day don't believe Judge Fitzgerald was dismissed and replaced for the reasons below. Judge Fitzgerald's son, as mentioned in previous posts, became Archbishop of the Joliet Diocese. Judge Fitzgerald and his son both knew too much about Schofield "pre-1964" when he "entered his priesthood studies", left not knowing his "sexual interests", and then graduated from Quincy College in about 1963/64. He started teaching at Benjamin in 1964. Just recently found the article below this past March-2025. Does anyone else think this was a cover-up? So sad Debbie had to be "taken out".

A little off-topic, but as I'm playing catch-up here...I notice there are now several articles on sites like YouTube covering Debbie's case, which we were doing 16 years ago. I've noticed this with other cases as well, such as the missing Sodder children in WV. Websleuths has been on the front lines of amateur investigating for decades.

So sad after 60+ years. Still hoping to get to the DPC Courthouse this year and file a "records request" (or equal) for Debbie's Grand Jury trial, which is supposedly available on microfiche?? I have her "trial #. Now all I need is to find someone that can convert it to text. I've been told there are people that can do that?? Not sure what the price would be. Would probably beat the price and time of camping out in the basement of the DPCCH attempting to do this with my very limited IT skills (L:OL).
