Ok, so it's a big rural area, sparse with people but known meth labs have been busted there. If there is still meth, that suggests more meth labs due to the setting. If meth keeps popping up, then what company are they acquiring the ingredients from? I know a person can make meth from stuff bought at Walmart or any other drug or convenience store, but the fact that meth labs have popped up on numerous occasions AND the fact that houses have been confiscated due to them being busted for manufacturing of meth - that highly suggests a larger quantity of ingredients would be needed. A person couldn't walk into Walmart & purchase several gallons of ammonia without being questioned - no way. So given the rural setting, could there be a farm store for food & fertilizer stuff? Maybe a larger company that might not notice inventory going missing as compared to a smaller store that holds lesser supply?
The last laws to be passed on meth manufacturing was pretty tough, iirc, and then you hve the presence of the Mexican meth coming in with a higher quality at the same price. Most meth "labs" nowadays are mostly shake and bake. Meaning you can make small quantities in a vehicle if needed.....usually the maker is just making it for himself and a few others to just make enough profit to buy the ingredients again to keep his own supply on hand. Suppliers could be a pharmacist on the take and in a downtrodden economy.....some farmers have been in the mix also. But, as I said, the big labs are fading fast, imo. Who really wants to go up against the Mexican Cartels in business. KWIM??
