I do hope she just needed a break and will be ok. The fact that her vehicle remains missing is concerning me.
This article update stated she was scheduled to return to work Monday after a leave of absence. Mystery after Chicago teacher vanishes on her way to acupuncture appointmentMissing Chicago Teacher May Need Medical Attention
She is being treated for mental health issues, but family members do not believe that she would go missing of her own volition. She was dedicated to her job and her students.
At timestamp 0:30, Linda's husband [Antwon Brown] says: "Something's up. She normally answers her phone when I call."
At timestamp 0:35, Linda's sister [Lisa Quintana] says: "She is in contact with Antwon [Linda's husband] all the time, no matter where she goes or what she's doing. He knows where she's at and what she's doing."
At timestamp 1:05, the Missing Person Poster (from The Reignited Project), gives Linda's height as 5'7". Her weight is 140 lbs.
Many reports say LB is 5 feet tall, unsure which height is the correct one..While a missing person alert from Chicago police describes Brown as being around 5 feet tall, the missing person flyer says she is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing between 130-140 pounds with fair complexion. She was last seen wearing a long, puffy black coat and shiny UGG-style boots.

CPS teacher reported missing after disappearing on way to acupuncture appointment
A Chicago teacher has been reported missing after she disappeared while traveling to an acupuncture appointment over the weekend.www.nbcchicago.com
The above link is in the OP. Who gave the physical description to authorities?
9 AM Acupuncture Appointment
At 1:09 timestamp of the video, she had a 9 AM acupuncture appointment on Sat., Jan. 3, 2026.
At 1:16 timestamp of the video, Linda's sister [Lisa Quintana] is being interview by a reporter and she says: "I texted her again -- maybe around 2 O'clock -- and I still hadn't heard from her, so that's when we got in touch with Antwon Brown [Linda's husband] to say, you know, how's Linda doing today -- have you talked to her at all? And then, he was like, 'No. I was thinking maybe she was with you, and I haven't seen her.'"
I was thinking the same thing. It’s not matching - you can’t say you know where your spouse is at all times and always in touch and then add the fine print that says oh, except the day she went missing. So Antwon who is always in touch with her and knows where she is at all times, never pinged her when she wasn’t back from her appointment five hours later?
Yeah and five hours later he tells her sister "I thought she was with you" from the man who knows where she is at all times.I was thinking the same thing. It’s not matching - you can’t say you know where your spouse is at all times and always in touch and then add the fine print that says oh, except the day she went missing.
If she were planning on leaving, I'm sure she would have let her sister (Linda) know. Her car is also missing.
My first hunch is a car accident and she went into a ditch or water and the car is out of sight. Seems a bit unlikely that would go unnoticed on a Saturday morning in a populated area, though.
My next hunch is she left intentionally and am concerned about self-harm. Did she drive to a remote area on her own?
And there is the scenario that someone did harm to her. I'd like to know when she was last seen by someone other than husband. What were her last activities that can be confirmed before watching a movie at home?
I hope she needed a break and will let someone know.

I tend to agree, but mental distress can make people do illogical things. If she were planning on leaving, I'm sure she would have let her sister (Linda) know.
