IMHO RL left his property on 2/13 during the time of those murders because he had prior knowledge that something was going to be happening back there. I believe someone told him to be gone and that is how the person got to the bridge and back to his car was through RL's property / the cemetery. I believe the SW was a last ditch effort to make the person / persons responsible think that RL was in jail talking. The SW came a month after the crimes, I still have no idea why every inch of RL's property and that entire wooded trail area was not searched with a fine tooth comb immediately after the bodies were found.

Interesting thought, like let me borrow your property for a while, I'll do this this that, or other for you. Etc. IMO always.

If it was RL and he knew the girls family why would Libby not of said anything on the audio ?

This is the same girl who had the foresight to record the killer as she was so scared. It seems like a big omission not to say who the killer is if you know the person walking towards you.

Have you seen anywhere where it said the girls knew him? I can't remember that. I just remember he said he knew their families.

Just because he knows their family name through knowing their dad or uncle or grandfather or whatever doesn't mean they knew him well or by name, IMHO.

I live in a small town. Almost everyone here could say they know my family in some respect, but my kids would know the names of very few adult acquaintances. They would recognize many more by face. I wish we knew what was said on those videos and if it suggested they knew the person even by sight/familiarity. Perhaps the suggestion of familiarity was there and that's why LE interviewed and served SWs to locals after the fact.

There's no way to know for sure at this point, I guess.

Has anyone but LE heard the audio in its entirety? If Libby or Abby called someone by name why would LE make that public? They wouldn't because they're protecting the integrity of their double homicide investigation. IMO

O/T I also got the dreaded pop- up that only occurs on this site. Considering I practically live on this site I was forced to take drastic measures. I called my child to help me. LoL. I tried several "fixes" recommended by my child and several other fixes recommended by different forums & guides. Three days later, the only thing that worked to get rid of it was a hard system restore. Massive PIA. I even tried using different browsers to view this site; but the pop- up slowly got to them , too.
So today I downloaded Tapatalk. Harder to navigate, but easier to read. Good luck to all who suffer the same pop- up.

PS. First it says I am a winner (. In the background I can seem Google Playstore) Then it says "Spin to Win". Close that and then it says I have won an iPhone7. Then a $100 Amazon card. Over and over every 5- 10 min. I finally realized every time I clicked 'Next' on reading the pages in a thread it activated the pop-up.
Incredibly frustrating! I had all pop- up blockers, security bridges activated. Mystery to me.

I solved my same issue by manually deleting history. Open chrome, settings, site settings, all sites and deleted the weird ones. Then toggled my Pop up block. It was fixed dunno how. But worked for me )

I tend to think it sounds a bit younger. Not saying someone's RL age isn't capable, they are. But IMO BG photo and who's ever voice it is. Doesn't seem like RL to me personally. As grainy as it may be, and as short of a loop it is. I think it's something different involving the home property search. What​? I have no idea, I could speculate for days but I really have no idea.

BG looks younger to me too, though I admit it is hard to be certain with a distorted still from a video. But my bet is on the guy being between 30-45.

Well, I just don't know. It's a good thing we didn't catch them be-cause there were 3 seriously angry women on their tail.

I don't think they had/have enough to know. They searched houses where RSO's lived (IIRC). And they used 6000 billboards spread across the nation. moo

I read that he knew the families and I assumed as the girls seemed to go there a fair bit that they would of crossed paths with him at some point considering where his land was.

Maybe BG told the girls there was something of interest "down the hill" i.e a geocache, mushrooms, etc...and they went on ahead into an area that was less visible and he followed until they were at or near the spot where they were found.

I also believe I saw a quote stating as to the immense complexity of this case. Perhaps I am missing the complex part of man kills girls and dumps in his back yard. Feel free to help me understand the complex nature of this theory.

I posted my theory several days ago. Some paid no attention, some said I had a great imagination and some said, hadn't thought about it,
But maybe plausible.

OJ was acquitted but my opinion is he got away with two murders. If my opinion mattered he'd be convicted of double homicide and sitting on death row.

All we really see is the clothes.
The face shape to me is not the same
RL has hollow cheek bones the dude has cheeks from what I see.

If the girls named the killer are you saying LE would not of arrested the guilty party straight away ?

Things must work very differently in the UK as we would not let a murderer walk around to strike again if the perp had been named.

IMO like 60% of Indiana's RSOs could look like BG and the picture is almost useless. LE would rule out all of them as soon as possible, but does anyone know if Indiana takes the DNA of RSOs? It's my understanding that there's different procedures state to state but I could be wrong.

Oh okay. Yeah, I guess that's a possibility although I don't know any of the neighbors of the parks or trails we frequent, so it might not be a given.

To me, if the girls named a name, it seems like they'd be strongly investigating certain people! But if all they had was a first name, they'd need other proof to arrest still. Interesting to consider this though! What if they are right now doing surveillance on someone named (or partially named) in the video? Or what if they have someone locked up on other charges while they look for evidence that corroborates an individual whose first name was dropped.

I suppose it's possible they named someone. I never considered this. Another question a reporter could ask Le!!

I cannot imagine anyone will be arrested or convicted of a double murder based solely on a blurry photo, a single DNA sample or by a single word uttered in a media interview. That's why this case isn't solved yet, or at least LE isn't saying either way. Yet. They need a lot more than a photo or a video or an audio to charge someone with a double murder. JMO

If he had not done the news interviews we would not know who this man is.
Sad to convict a guy cause he wears the same clothes.
IMO his voice does not sound like BG.

Without the interviews, we would not have known who RL was . . . until the extensive media coverage of the search of RL's house and his arrest for violating probation. But LE was also interested in RL's neighbors and their properties and known sexual offenders in the area. We'd be incredulous if they hadn't. But because they've told us almost nothing about other searches (as far as I know only the BBR property made the papers) and investigations, and because we're not allowed to publicly sleuth anyone other than RL, RL has gotten a larger share of the the attention than would have been the case otherwise. For example, somewhere in the past few days someone posted a photo of searchers on the bridge, one of whom was dressed much like BG. I'm sure that individual has been investigated by LE, but we don't know and can't sleuth. Some here have also noted that it may have been a single searcher, or neighbor, who found the bodies--also probably investigated by LE and not subject to sleuthing here.
