I'm really glad this came up again while I'm actually online because I wanted to ask if you think it's possible his shoulder & arm are also misaligned on that side, giving us a distorted idea re his true build?
Way back in the threads people thought that uniform dark area was a stripe on his jacket, but maybe it's just slightly out of line too? If you look at it symmetry-wise, he does seem bulkier on one side?
Hi antechinusRAWR. I personally feel there is a lot going on there that isn't right. I have been working with that very issue. When I realigned the face, it was easy. There was an actual line that showed the misalignment and I just put that part of the face back where it belonged. But the right side of his jacket has no clear line that I can see. I don't feel I should just arbitrarily move the arm up and over even though I think it would be more accurate. I have tried a bit and other parts become distorted.
I kept staring and it popped in my mind that his head is awfully small for the build he supposedly has. First, I believe that his jacket is too big, perhaps on purpose and second, it appears to be full of stuff (imo, while he may as well have a bit of a belly, the larger part of the bulge, to me, is sagging as if carrying items inside the jacket and the weight has caused the items to drop low).
So I zoomed in and in and in to where the black met the blue to see the actual outline of his jacket. I believe what we are seeing is a lot of "noise" created from the layers used to create the still from a moving video. For example, the "stripe" that you see is really just layers overlapping creating a shadow effect,
I think. So when you unzoom you get an overall impression that that is his size.
The other thing that bothered me was his stance. Like you say that right side seems off. However, I had quite the shock when I was doing that video recreation with my daughter, she had the
exact same stance! In the picture below, notice how her right shoulder droops, the right arm seems oddly long and angled weird compared with the left bent arm, even though both hands are in the pockets. Also notice the bottom of her shirt and the angle from left to right. So, the alignment or symmetry of his body seems correct in this particular shot, imo.
Regarding his size, I decided to very carefully remove all the dark shadowing or pixel duplication. I started working out to in. As I removed a layer of shadow I would l see if there was another layer to be removed, then removed it. Same with the duplicates. I am not the first one to do this but here is my version of BG's possible size. His head seems more proportionate to his body, imo, yet all I did was remove shadows and duplicate images.
I am a novice at this picture stuff. I have no experience working with pictures and just put them out there for your consideration. Feel free to

oke:!!
