Always kind of frustrating when someone present one riddle claiming that it would probably help solve another riddle
Metal- detectors allowed there?

In California, sellers must reveal if a death in the home has occurred anytime in the past three years, including death by natural causes (although certain types of deaths, like those from AIDS, cannot be disclosed)
In Alaska and South Dakota, only murders or suicides must be disclosed if they happened within the past year.

Not sure about the property, according to above it says, "in the home" not on the property. Jmo

Does having a heinous crime happen on or near your property reduce the value of it?

@legman. Awesome post. I agree about the local media or even not local, just any MSM. Why wait for LE to call them when they are ready to release info? Investigative reporting is a thing, after all. Even if they get "no comment" at least an effort is made. Squeaky wheel gets the grease & all that. I believe a reporter needs to be there digging, asking questions, taking pics and videos. Rattle some old bones.

Whoever BG is, he has a thick head of hair and also facial hair similar to a goatee.

Whether we see hair or a hat on his head, you can make out very thick hair.

So we go back to what LE originally said: Has someone changed their appearance?

If he's local, someone has to recognize a man with such thick hair suddenly went to a buzz cut and removed facial hair.
IMO we never see his hair.
It's a hood.

Just think LE felt very sure the pic was going to get the guy.

I actually think it DID get the guy. I think they had him, questioned him, looked into his mobile devices, etc but haven't yet found the evidence to arrest him. I absolutely believe they know who did it-it is just that the evidence they have is something a good atty could tear apart, so they are looking for more.

And no, I do not believe it is RL, though I think he could be indirectly involved.

I see some hair. But I'm open to all suggestions and what others see.

I def. see some hair, even if it's poking out from under a hat. For a man, what I see, is very thick.

But we all see different things and that's completely fine.

Welcome to Websleuths!

In that area I think it is possible to find things of Native American origin perhaps along a creek or river (or even in a creek or river itself). I doubt so much in the fields since at one time only a little over 200 years ago much of Indiana was dense forest. And that would have been cut down, stumps removed, and the land plowed many, many times over.

A major Native American trade route ran through the vicinity of Delphi.

As far as railroad stuff perhaps railroad spikes or even tools could be found. As well as anything that could have fallen from a train. I do expect that Barn Finds kind of things would be much more common but so much depends on people hanging onto things.

It is possible for someone that has such an interest and has done some research might think they could find things of interest or value (even if the only value is in finding it for themselves). Much like fossil hunters, you don't know what you might find, if anything, until you explore.

Where I come from there was an abandoned mining town the forests reclaimed - the post office, school, bank, row houses, etc. could be seen - and you could find things in the area such a town of mining related items, even cups and dishes, the abandoned town garbage dump had items of days long past such as toys and household items. Most of the structures were brick and those were torn down later to reclaim the bricks because there is a market for old bricks. In the old wood framed buildings (or what was left of them) if you opened the walls they were often lined with newspaper and so you could get whole newspapers (in so-so condition but readable mostly).
Personal thanks for posting the Scanner Transmissions, there, and also the connections. Another persons trash could be a man's wealth, or otherwise. That cemetery, old dumpsites, Liberty was in the perfect place for photography, and she was good. I hope she rattled her assailant when the evidence appeared.

I posted yesterday or the day before but I don't think anybody answered. I sent my note in fairly close to the freeze that night.

Some of the questions I asked concerned what Libby and Abby did on a routine basis. I'm still interested in the answers in case someone is interested in talking about them or could perhaps point me to the thread where maybe these ideas were discussed already.

How did they get to school? Bike, walk, school bus, public transportation?

Was anybody home when they got home from school each day, or did they let themselves in?

Being athletes, did they train on that trail or around it? Do other school sports groups train in the area?

I can't agree with this, that picture is of no value. If ten people view it you'll get 10 different descriptions. It's impossible to make any solid identifying markers from it. What if, they released it solely to put mental pressure on the perp. To become noticeably stressed, a sudden change of appearance or behavior pattern. Just a thought.

I'm certain it did, thusly why it was released.

Add in the fact that so many men also seemingly dress like that as well in surrounding area.

Understood. Thanks.
OT. I use Tapatalk on a mobile, and the interface is different there than it is on a desktop, and that's all different than the interface for websleuths proper without goinh in via Tapatalk. It can all be confusing. I blame responsive design. 🌞

The above is just my opinion.

This is such amazing work. Once the girls were forced down the hill (IMO, I think this video portrays the correct hill the voice capture by Libby of the suspect is referring), something may have happened under the bridge and could be considered a primary crime scene. Their bodies were found across Deer Creek, which may be a secondary crime scene. All this is MO.

Why doesn't WS send a representative and ask the question's that everyone is posing? Doesn't seem as though MSM has any "go-getter" interest. Tobe gave an interview to Michael Stroupe and all he has is a YouTube channel and it isn't even very good IMO....but Tobe gave the interview regardless.

Good idea. We had a member who went out with his wife and did measurements and pics for us way back when. Maybe thread 10ish? Don't remember his name. Don't see him posting anymore. Maybe someone will volunteer
