Given they have audio and the most sophisticated voice matching technology on the planet, I think the photo is one of LE's least important clues as far as identifying and arresting a suspect. Anyone who knows BG would recognize his stance, shape, clothing and voice. I'm also equally sure some people have identified him to LE. They have more video as well. They also have every piece of physical evidence, including the bodies, interviews and/or interrogation and know who has a solid alibi and who doesn't. This isn't 50 years ago before there were security cameras in most businesses, GPS tracking, cellphones and advanced scientific testing. IMO

I completely agree so with all this technology and a video and audio , why the heck haven't they matched them to a perp yet ?

I'm not saying there is no watch, just that I cannot see it myself. Also, wearing a watch on the right arm does not seem to indicate being either left or right handed going by poster's personal preferences so we cannot deduce much from this even if it is a watch IMO. The watch theory is what exactly anyway? That he is left handed?

I am yet to catch up on today's posts and i'm off to work soon so just wanted to quickly add that I bought up the watch because I thought it might be an indicator to whether BG is left or right handed. Based off everyone's replies it's obvious it has no bearing.... and a big thanks to those of you who answered my question regarding what hand you all wear watches on x

Could you please change the color on BG 2 to match the lighter one BG1 and do a side-by-side of them? I keep thinking that if they are the same color, I might be able to convince my brain that they are the same person.

I agree. My husband often hikes and goes for long walks and he usually takes a water bladder with him. (For those not in the know, a water bladder is usually a clear bag that holds water. It can be worn on its own or stuck in a hydration pack.)

It seems as if the image that LE released on the Indiana State Police website is a composite of more than one frame in a series of frames from the video. WebSight had gone through and corrected a misalignment that passed through BG's head and face.

Is the consensus BG is not wearing gloves? If they recovered the phone as I think they did there may have been fingerprints. It'd be pretty hard to explain your fingerprints away on the property of a murdered teen, IMO.

No, not vampires. Rituals. To me, it would be considered Satanic Rituals. To the killer(s), fulfilling a long held death fantasy fueled by wicked desires.

The family friend who posted earlier told us the family informed them that the crimes were brutal. We need to believe that and not shrug it off.

There were other tools used that are most unpleasant to consider; however, one must remain open-minded to how horrific the murders truly were.

IMO it wasn't a ritualistic killing.

I have been gone for a while. Was the family friend verified? (There is no doubt in my mind that it was a brutal attack.)

The voice sounds almost robotic, the facial recognition program doesn't recognize a face, maybe LE is dealing with something inhuman.

This morning I posted an image that seemed to be superimposed on a "woods" background that I found on ABC's website. (see my post earlier this morning, sorry I don't have the post # right now)

Anyway, I enlarged the photo to see if we could get a better glimpse of the perps face. I used Windows Photo Viewer, then the snipping tool.

Great Job NIN~~~I believe you are correct~~he is wearing a ballcap backwards. In the superimposed picture, you can see the "tab" or "snap" on the back on the hat. You can also see the bill of the hat in back of him.

What else I found interesting is that there appears to be something on his jacket on his left arm. (our right)

Sorry~~after I posted the pic,(it doesn't show as well uploaded to WS) you'll have to save it to your desktop or computer to see the "tab" or "snap" on the hat better.

My husband, a forensic anthropologist, just reminded me that most "ritualistic killings" have nothing to do with actual rituals or Satanism, but are an attempt to copycat something seen on TV to make LE and the general public THINK that they were ritualistic in nature. True Satantic rituals that result in death are almost unheard of.

Jethro, my response was badly worded to Otto, and I have gone back and corrected it. I meant to say "when they uploaded the photo" to the ISP website not when they "cut and pasted" it to the website. Certainly before you upload you have the opportunity to change the aspect ratio to get rid of that horrible skewing, and it bothered me that they didn't do that.

For once, I wasn't talking about his face issues, and probably just this once...
