Hmmm so is it his hand or something attached to his belt? Like a badge of some kind or an aluminum tape measure? Photo is just too blurry I know to really make out anything . Sad the photo hasn't so far led to the perp's arrest, Soon I hope LE will get the right tip to bring him to justice and put him :jail:

And yet they haven't. I'd love to know why you or anyone else thinks that is.

I'd also love to hear opinions on why we have yet to hear a single criticism of LE coming from the families of Abby and Libby. A bunch of strangers are sure having no problem with criticizing the investigation, but the families aren't. That seems rather telling to me, IMO.

Unless the families speak to the media, we'd never know how they're feeling. And to do so only to criticize the investigation...how would that be helpful? LE invested incredible resources into this case and if it's not going to be immediately solved, I think we all understand that's outside of LE's control.

Libby's family recently expressed their frustration with the lack of an arrest in this case. I wouldn't say they were criticizing LE, but they are understandably upset that the case hasn't been solved.

The Pattys still have faith that will happen, even though the wait is turning out to be longer than they hoped.

“We would have loved to have seen something happen very shortly after, but the investigators are taking their time. Again, they’re crossing their t’s and dotting their i’s,” said Mike.

“We want to see an iron-clad case be pulled up so there’s no holes in this,” he said “Let’s make sure we’re going to do it, we’re going to do it right."

Jmo they never should have said the public was not in danger, if they did say that. They don't know who killed the girls. Maybe they think they know the motive, and that it was personal, directed toward just these (or one of the) girls. But if they know motive, it should provide a "who".

It read said on a press release. Someone asked and they said not in danger somewhere along those lines. I'm sure someone can find it..

Understandable at the slow pace but I don't see criticism about LE not releasing more information to the public or any concern for public safety. I suppose it's as if we are both trying to get in the head of Mr. Patty and decide what he means. I very much expect LE is keeping the families apprised of progress without being fully candid about all details. I believe LE normally personally tells the family right before an arrest is made, IMO.

The last interview with LE destroyed what little optimism I had. Saying optimism isn't high and begging for tips to identify the man on the bridge, tells me that do NOT have a clue. moo, of course

Prior to the interview that you mention, that LE was no longer asking for tips was used as justification that the case was solved except for LE announcing it.

Obviously that was not so. Clearly they are still seeking quality tips and that's never changed.

BG does not have a gun, taser, or anything of the like down his leg, on the inside of his pants. Good grief, I mean really?

If you don't see the goatee, then I guess you can't sit with me (kidding of course. we are all sitting here.) It's one of those things that I definitely see. Very neatly trimmed. Not bushy and very close to the face. Perhaps hard to see under his huge nose.

Also I keep wondering about scent dogs. I wish they'd used them to see if the girls had started walking towards one of their homes. Even though they found the bodies, following a scent on one of the roads would be helpful.

I always noticed a rectangular object resting at a 45 degree angle below the handgun on the inside right of his jacket. This object is particularly noticeable in the darker frame. To me the object has small knob-like protrusions at each corner. It had been bothering me because I knew something that looked just like it but couldn't quite place it. Call me crazy because this is oddly specific, but it looks a lot like my daughter's iPad mini in an otterbox defender case.

I apologize because I know this observation doesn't greatly add to the discourse here but I just wanted to throw that out. My current opinion is that BG is an Sk given that LEO have given the impression that this was a horrific scene and the fact that he has eluded identification might suggest that he is a loner.
If he is an SK he could have used the iPad to document his crimes, leaving his cell phone at home to avoid leaving any kind of electronic signature in the area.

Lastly, these girls experienced something that fortunately most of us will never experience. That feeling is Terror. I pray to God they get this monster
