Is there an echo in here? ;o) Like I said, I agree. But their lack of optimism, together with their repeated appeals for that one key piece of evidence, suggests to me (and me alone) that the forensic evidence, if there is some, must not be significant. I certainly don't know for sure; it's just the sense I get.

They may have significant evidence that won't stand alone, need to connect the dots to lead to a suspect. If they do have DNA, well I see DNA as significant evidence but there still needs to be a match; same with fingerprints, hair, fibers, and other things of course. With a match it would be very significant, without maybe some think not that significant. I do think with all the modern methods and technology they have significant evidence, but might not point directly to murderer.

I just thought BG could have used it to pretend he lost his little dog but it was really one of his weapons for his attack on the girls.moo. Nothing cryptic, sorry if it sounded like that.

Best I can come up with: Several members are of the opinion that under the BG coat is either a dog (name the breed ... it keeps changing) or a goat!! No kidding. He's hauling a animal around to go kill 2 girls. Now, what he did with these said animals during the murders is unknown. Tied them up? Let them loose? They ran off. BOLO out in Delphi for these abandoned dog(s) and/or a goat! The end.

To your point, my imagination only but, I wonder if BG has offered LE tips, with the intention of diverting their attention toward innocent parties? And is the word "phantom" is more relevant than we might realize? . (re - reporter asking a question, I'll repost).

I would like to point out before I sleep tonight that being a participant here with the members has been a huge boon to me. I feel as though I came in blind with a mind full of clouds, and feel confident in LE's abilities in solving this case. Other members here have shown me I was not alone and express themselves in a way that pursues justice respectably and allowing the freedom to think and overcome adversity. On leaving here tonight, about the biggest question I have is this---Does my eye close when I shut down? Goodnight all.

I'm not quite caught up from this morning I had a very very busy day I need to read about 10 pages yet, but I'm afraid by the time I do that, the board will be shut for the night so I'm going to post now . were there any major developments today and has there been any consensus on what the white thing might be? I have not looked at the photo discussion thread since early this morning either. I scammed a couple more recent posts and saw somebody wondering if anyone else thinks he might be a serial killer and I still stand by my initial feeling on this since the beginning that yes he is. Also a random question...in one of the Articles earlier on, which I do not have a link for I'm sorry, they mentioned finding significant evidence at the crime scene. has anyone figured out what that might be? Nothing new I think. And white thing : dog (poodle) ( chahuahua), goat, dog leash, the usual,(goggles, ribbons, a dove etc.) Seriously though I thought at one point when I think LE did the big presser releasing loop BG voice, that *shoulder to shoulder* was something. Like we stood shoulder to shoulder then they stood shoulder to shoulder yesterday.. so to me, to say that more than once is either, trying to make it clear they worked hard together. Which to me is assumed. Imo or someone's trying to say something like hey BG we saw you we stood possibly nearly shoulder to shoulder with you, we'll get you. ... but I might have thought too much into it. Imo always.

This case has me going bonkers. Everywhere I go now in Michigan and see a man wearing a cameo hat and blue jeans I'm out right muttering 'BG'. Please find this piece of crap before I go nuts. I'm so beside myself over this case. What does it really matter if it is a dang plastic bag? Or if it's a inside out blue windbreaker? Will it catch this ? No. Damn It! Get this guy before we all are sleuthing the next. Much love to all. Sorry all. Venting. Carry on.

If the thing around his neck is a plastic bag from a store or anything that is common it may be no help at all to find him; if it turns out to be something unusual then it might lead to a break in the case. Let's say it turned out to be something that was only available from one place and had to be ordered. The company or person that sold that item might have his information so LE could go straight to him. Odd things like that do break cases every once in a while so I don't see what it hurts to try to figure out every possible thing from the photos. I think the odds are against it being a rare item but you just never know.

I've wondered that as well. BG calling in tips to throw them off.

Not tied to this post, but I've also thought parties involved offering tips to thwart investigation. Thus, the swarm of searchers 5 weeks later at RL's place. Five weeks is such a long time to say: Hey, maybe we should search RL's again. I do wonder if something prompted that. LE 101 is to search his property properly when the girls were found.

Am I the only person that from the very beginning thought that this would be solved very quickly? With LE having Video/sound from the crime scene. Not to mention all the resources they had from very early on.I don't think I would have imagined that we would still be scratching our heads all this time later.

This man is from St Paul MN. Being from MN myself, there is a different sounding dialect here. When I hear the audio "down the hill", it sounds distinctively different to me than the dialect of someone from here. mo

Your right you do never know... In my own thoughts and a close friend that's LE if it is a plastic bag from a local store... walmart,Target, Meijer so on... you'll never find the . Will LE ever come across said bag? If that's what he is carrying? NO.

I wondered the same in regards to one of their own, i am not sure my mind will let me go there, even if i want to.i would hate that. Even though stuff like that happens.as foe assumptions I feel really strongish about something like the hair thing, so positive. Then the *new old picture resurfaces and I swear by hoodie now. And I agree he WILL get caught. I hope it's soon, not later. Don't want this entire situation going down with other missing kids too and the same BG if he is a sk.
