Is there an echo in here? ;o) Like I said, I agree. But their lack of optimism, together with their repeated appeals for that one key piece of evidence, suggests to me (and me alone) that the forensic evidence, if there is some, must not be significant. I certainly don't know for sure; it's just the sense I get.![]()
They may have significant evidence that won't stand alone, need to connect the dots to lead to a suspect. If they do have DNA, well I see DNA as significant evidence but there still needs to be a match; same with fingerprints, hair, fibers, and other things of course. With a match it would be very significant, without maybe some think not that significant. I do think with all the modern methods and technology they have significant evidence, but might not point directly to murderer.
