I can't see why his videos would be any different than RL's. Why should we believe him anymore than anyone else. Somethings he states as fact and aren't necessarily so. JMO
I don't believe we should believe anything as fact except what is verified by LE.
Just because someone makes videos and states they know the families doesnt really mean anything to me.

This is the problem I have with many of these videos that have been created about the case. Most are from biased individuals who have clear-cut ideas of who's to blame and this makes for uncomfortable watching at times. GH does some good videos as far as geography goes and he's great with the technical aspect of the case (recreating the places in which the girls stood on the bridge, showing the drive to the park, etc.) but otherwise a lot of the content is still just someone's opinion. (Some of which I agree with, but that still doesn't make their statements factual.) There were questions about allowing WKAT videos here and that's not something I feel comfortable with, either. Although some of the presented information is quite good, there are also instances in other videos in which the filmmakers use cursing to make disparaging remarks against the family members-something that WS doesn't tolerate. I often walk away feeling "dirty" for having watched them.
I agree mtnlites. I always give them props for the effort and appreciate when I learn something new that's verified by LE but I kind of get the feeling they're trying to profit off the girls murder-which creeps me out.

I really don't know why I feel like I have to keep emphasizing this, but for some reason I do.
They do not give dates for their interviews. So what I assumed was new info becomes questionable because then I think wait a second, when was that filmed? Anyway last time I promise!

Which ones have the disparaging remarks? We can link to them but not discuss them. Is that right? Can you link to the items you are talking about because I have not seen swearing or such as you describe.?

I guess we take them or leave them. Noone makes us watch afterall.

Are we allowed to discuss the videos on YouTube uploaded by Eric Alter?

That would be nice. I don’t understand what he is trying to accomplish with his videos. He has been on my radar for awhile, as he inserted himself into the investigation very quickly. I had kind of moved away from him with the DN interest from LE. Hope mods will allow it.

I'd like to say I'm very disappointed by that press conferance on the 13th. There was a showy look at me atmosphere created by Carter. When he was talking about flying there I shook my head. Just solve the case. No more speeches.

Oh ok then. Not serious then. I just don't understand how a guess at a profile is supposed to help find a killer. I need to google it. Just finding this utter lack of progress hopeless.
I also expected a lot more ideas and input from those fed up hearing about DN for the last 5 months. Early days I suppose.

The "utter lack of progress" was talking about DN. I just happened to take a look at this thread again and I feel that a profile of BG would be a help if the FBI could provide us one. It certainly wouldn't hurt anything. Has anyone actually asked for a profile of BG?

I think that the person who might be responsible for the murders may have known one or both of the girls but they didn't recognize him because he was disguised so well. I think he was living near that area but may have moved away since. I'd look for someone who had crossed paths with one or both girls before..someone whom noone would recognize from the video stills or sketch. A sketch is only as good as the witness is at describing the person, and if the sketch artist is real good at sketching the likeness described.. I have read that it DOES matter who the sketch artist is. As far as voice goes..I have read where some on here wonder what BG has around his face. Possibly a voice synthesizer to disguise his voice? I think that BG knew the area around Monon High bridge well because he had gone there before the murders looking totally different.

Lastly..in the bridge photo of Abby that Libby took..Abby is carrying a handbag..the two plastic appearing straps are around HER right arm. The handbag looks on the thin & flat side. Another thing I noticed...someone took a black 'mark' and put it where Abby's hair would have been tied. To hide what Abby's hair was tied with perhaps?

I for one think that it is a good thing to go over everything...because something important to this case just might have been missed.
I hope that my ideas/thoughts and input are helpful. They are all moo of course.

Keen observation about the hair tie. I am wondering now what would be the reason for obscuring it in the photo. Was this item not found at the crime scene?

The trucker theory could make a lot of things fit if he was on his way out of town with the next load the day after the killings.

It sure would explain how he disappeared totally from the area.
Lets assume for a minute that he was due to leave at a certain time the next day for a long haul to another state and he had to blow the time.

So maybe he had done that same trucking run before multiple times and he stayed the night before in that exact area where he knew nobody bothers him. But this time he decides to snatch a girl to take her to his spot and didnt expect search parties to show up.

So his plan gets ruined as soon as he started to hear people yelling for the girls. So he quickly kills them and makes his way out of there on foot. He would have to had moved on foot to get back close to his rig before taking off the next day.

This theory could really explain why LE had electronic Billboards across the country. It could also explain BG clothing he had on. He had layered clothes and things to be able to sleep the night in the woods.

It also explains why it is so difficult to identify BG. He knew the area well but likely did not live there at the time of the killings.

So the trucking company would have to know the schedules and who were the drivers for the routes that next day. It sure would limit the suspect pool down to just a handful of people.

I hope LE has gone to the shipping company and gone through everyone that had routes that day. But after seeing the failures that happened with the FBI in Florida school shooting I am not comfortable they have done that yet.

So is there any way to know who had routes that next day? Probably not for us but there has to be a way to find out that information. It needs to be pursued IMO.

When I began on Day One, sleuthing this double homicide of two young girls, I knew LE would vet all of the RSOs so I didn't look there. LE also stated they checked every trucker who drove through IN on days prior, the day of and several days after the murders. Consequently, I did not check out 18-wheel drivers.

I did check out White Excavating. I read the reviews on FB. Very interesting, imho. And Vanguard. Both had interesting comments in the review sections. If you haven't read them, you may want to do so, in your spare time.

Do I just search for the bolded word on FB?

I actually agree with you. However, I agree with other posters as well. Gray is no more of an expert than Greeno and Stroup. I’m not taking up for those guys, but Hughes is not any type of verified expert...I am not sure why his word or his theories should be taken at face value any more than the other amateurs.

I thought all GH videos were allowed. His channel is on post 1 of every thread so it must be ok right?

My disappointment was that we learned nothing new which is going to cause public interest to wane. They can’t just keep having the same press conference over and over again. I think this crime has caused them a great deal of devastation, anxiety and despair. I just wonder how their inexperience in cases like this has impacted things and if it has helped BG stay out of jail for this crime the past year.

I thought the detective's answer was very telling when he talked about this case being on his mind - the last thing he thinks of at night - and how he wrestles with the question are we doing the right things? Have we done enough? He seemed very overwhelmed.

The advice LE is getting about not releasing more info could be very bad advice. As we know, the FBI makes some rather major blunders. Not sure if they are getting advice from them...but I would rethink it. Nothing seems to be happening.

It’s chilling to think BG took a trophy from the crime scene to help him relive what he did but it’s highly likely.

Have you a link for LE checking the truckers for the days prior/before and day of the murder? Don't remember seeing that but there's been so much to look at in the last year. Would be good to review as we are going over old ground. So LE thought it could be a trucker, which explains the bill boards. I'll check out the two names you mention.

Re the RSO's the problem is approximately 25% don't register their addresses or notify changes or where/if they are working so LE wouldn't have swabbed/checked them.

What about an out of county/state RSO trucker?

DeDee, could you give us a little more info on these pages you bolded. I can't find anything and would like to read the reviews you are telling about. Are they businesses, are they in Delphi, are they both facebook? Thanks!
